I love Bose family with their quirkiness. They are loud, crazy, eccentric. But fiercely loyal and protective to each other. They are not mean or nefarious unlike Dixits.

I agree. I have heard Dev brag about love. But I haven't seen the proof. His words has no value, promises are waste of breath, commitment is as fragile as a glass on a rubber ball, understanding and support non-existant, respect appears and disappears like Mr. India. So sorry, only based on his whining and angsty face, I can't say he loves Sonakshi. He is attracted to her, obsessed with her, in lust whatever. But love is a whole different ballgame.

Glad some people are still who understand that Dev has never ever loved sona

I don't think love is if you fell satisfied with some person but in my view love is how Mach that person is satisfied
Love is other name of unconditiona giving by not expecting anything in return
And being a woman always getting worth of what you have done what you are and what you can give is really pathetic feeling
There are many woman who are not able to conceive and have everything and done everything to please their in laws but at the end they are either killed emotionally or directly
As I am totally against as I lost my two sisters in this process one got natural death and other got killed or done sucide not clear
Anyway I am only wanting to say don't give chance to Dev like person respect or love give them full attitude as they deserve only that if they are satisfied with you by becoming father then let them only be father
Because there are alot girl in world who are suffering from all this
I REALLY REALY HATE HIM AND DONT FELT WATCHING THOSE SCENE HOW MUCH EMOTIONAL IT WAS I DON'T GIVE A DAMN BECAUSE THESE TYPE OF PERSON NOT DESERVE DAUGHTER
AND I WILL ALWAYS WANT SONA TO MOVE AWAY AND IF THEY TAKE SOHA FORCEFULLY THEN SHE SHOULD HAVE FAITH ON HER OWN UPBRINGING

If she goes back to Dev without proper redemption, then she will again make the same mistake. And I agree, Dixits should make reproductive organs match mandatory instead of auspicious time before marriage.

Thank you, Amulya. Yes, Bose family's bond is strong because of their open communication. Any family who shares everything together, stands any test of time...

Yes, I believe that marriage happens between two people. Having children should be the icing on the already delicious cake which is the relationship the husband and wife share. If the cake itself is bad, regardless of how delicious the icing is, it won't make the cake taste better. It will conceal the bad taste. But the bad taste won't go away completely.

On the other hand, if the cake is delicious, the lack of icing won't change the fact that the cake is still a damn good experience.

Sorry, the foodie in me is showing. 😆

You know the funny thing in the whole episode was me checking out the dates on Dev-Sona's marriage reg form, Birthyears of Dev is 88 and Sona is 93 while they got married in 2009, poor guys they were too young to understand what actually life is and Sona was underaged too.

Jokes apart, I've to make jokes on all silly things of the show otherwise this is such a regressive show that my head seems to burst whenever I watch an episode. There's nothing interesting, no fun, I'm not a regular viewer but these days I keep doing it as I love kids and I'm watching only for Golu-Soha.

The one thing I adore in Bose family is their frankness, the way they openly express their emotions be it love, anger, pain. They resemble my own family so much.

Now coming to your post, I loved your lines about a husband's potency, how a woman shouldn't be blamed for being unable to conceive in the similar lines a man shouldn't be credited for just being responsible of a woman getting conceived, a real man's responsibility begins thereafter.

I agree. I always said that Sonakshi is an excellent mother and the precap proves it. When people were saying why did Sonakshi gave Soha a choice now when she didn't give her one before? Why did not she just hide Dev from her until she is adult? Well, this is why. As soon as Soha was capable of making decisions and form choices and a personality, Sonakshi developed her parenting on an honest platform. Soha will never question nor doubt her mother and at all times will be honest with her mother because Sonakshi gave her the same courtesy. You can't expect honesty without being honest yourself.

Soha has been brought up beautifully! I would want Dev to respect that and not create any havoc in sona's life. The way Soha told him what her mother has told her about Dev or Soha's father despite of all bitter things that happened between them and Dev thinking Soha doesn't know anything about her father proves that. I want this matter to be handled gracefully and in very matured way (read: without Ishwari)

That's somewhat true. I mean the minimum expectations of being treated with respect and dignity, being supportive and kind is there. But in the sense that are there men and women who love their spouses so much that whether they have a child or not, they don't care? Yes there is. I know two men like that.

Thank you. Yes, I hope there's is a redemption track. It's long overdue. Should have had one during last break up.

Sonakshi is a great mother. Soha is the proof.

Now there's two things I'd like to see. Dev not pushing or manipulating Sonakshi and giving her space as well as respecting any decision she makes and Dev making sure his loose cannon mother is not bomb blasting behind his back damaging whatever progress he is making.

Also, please add two and two together and figure out Radha and Vicky. Honestly, Soha is so smart, at least show a little of your brain power. He will hardly look good as stupid in front of his smart daughter and her intelligent mother.

GREAT POST TIA!

And I love the point below: Sona has raised SOHA so well --- he knew she was lovely inside & out. thats why Dev was so happy and proud to be the dad of the "sweet" girl that he felt a strong connection to!

On another note: I HOPE and PRAY how Sona's raised Soha offers REDEMPTION as many of you noted.

I hope Dev realizes - how much trouble Sona has gone to - to keep Soha's impression of her father untainted by her own. If all this leads to is:

>> Dev and Mathashri planning sweet revenge - what a wasted opportunity. Thats the END of this show seriously!!
>> He can be mad but get over it! She is mad at you and still brought up her daughter well.

>> If it means Dev + Hana realize Sona is the missing bit and woo her. :) YAY!!
>> I do hope Dev appreciates all the positive support his "beti" has from her mama, Jatin uncle, dida, dadi, etc.

Loved Shaheer's acting - I felt his joy, and his happiness, understand he went and spilt his guts to Devil-Ish --- but lets not forget:

a) Dev used Elena -- whichever way you look at it!
b) Ish and Mamaji didn't care a ** about Elena
c) Elena knew the Dixit family had an agenda and she still succumbed to the temptation - the consistent weakness in her character

Cheers!

There was another era in early 2K.. 'ek baccha karlo toh sab theek hojaayega'.. This is the era Dev and the makers are stuck in.
I always tell my husband that the older we get, the better relationship managers we should become. Just like a lady should be a good daughter, DIL, wife, MIL etc, a guy should too.
'He is not a good husband, but is a great dad'- unjustified !

If I was Sonakshi, I would never ever let my daughter be with the Dixits.. Even when Dev can be a so called good father, because they are morally wrong and can teach nothing good to the kid.

I remember that show. You are right, idiot box is the same. We grew up. TV is still in the same place where it was during Ekta's regressive era. I don't know why any redemption even matters today. Anything he does, will be considered for Soha. Why would Sonakshi believe him again?

Dev's unconditional luv for Sona is beyond my understanding level Jaab maa nehi ban paya tabh use karke fek diya thank God tum Maa nehi ban sakti.Aur jaab acchi Ma ban gayi toh bas Shameless ki tarah welcome karne chali agayi.Frankly speaking I didn't feel a inch for dev today if it wasn't Shaheer there than the Scene is puke worthy with Ma beta hugging lovey dovey scene Pata nehi sari Self respect Cvs ne Bijoy aur Sona ko hi kiyu diya kuch toh a shameless Ma-beta ko bhi dey sakte thi.I would be glad after knowing about Soha instead of their lovey dovey moments If dev Remembered his harsh words to Sona she never can't become a good mother nd thanking God for not making Sona Mom.But Alas I forgot a to dixits khandhan hai inko khudki galtiyan ki bare mein hamesha pata to jarur hota hai par accept aur galtiyan sudharney ki ability inke blood mein toh hai nehi Sirf dusre ki galtiyaan Count nd blame karna ata hai.I won't be surprised if ishu again go with her jhola to Sonaaksi nd say Sari galtiyan tumne thodi na kiya hai meine bhi toh kuch kiya abhi sab kuch vhulker meri poti ki khuasi ki liye hai sahi laut ke ajao.I can't deal more with this Strong attitude wali Sona.I missed that old doormate bahu wali Sona 😛

Today I was happy for Dev despite his douchebag attitude to Elena. But I am dreading the consequences of his actions tomorrow. You see, now Ishwari has a toy that she wants her son to have which will keep her son tied to her pallu again. Do you remember the drama she did last time she wanted something? But this time, she knows the same tricks won't work. Imagine what she can do now when she is more desperate after not having Dev as her slave for 7 years?

What I am afraid of? Dev trying to play safe and Ishwari sends a lawyer with custody case filed in the court. Imagine what it will do to Sonakshi and Soha. The woman who can get signature fradaulantly and still doesn't think that she made a mistake because she did it for her son's "own good". Why wouldn't she repeat the same trick again hoping to be the one handing over the toy her son wants the most?

Seems like Dev was eating mentos while peeping inside the Bose house and that's why his dimag ki batti jal gayi on seeing the documental evidence. Otherwise who knows,he might have started another investigation about the identity of the father.

But I guess that was the brain usage quota of the day for him as he ran straight into the arms of the one person who is going to use both his emotions & a child for her own selfish reasons without any regard to it's effect as long as it's in her favour. Emotions me beh kar hug karna hi tha to Golu ko kar lete Dev Babu. I thought Golu was his only hope & reason to smile these days? But I guess now he thinks all is hunky dory. Soha will magically make everything perfect and Dev-Soha-"Soha's mother"-Maa will live happily ever after. I really do wonder about his business's success every time he acts so impulsively or foolishly.

That hug scene was seen at double speed by me,at least it came across funny.Otherwise it would have been a cringe fest. Simply cannot bear to watch Ishwari. But one thing,if Dev had to ask Suhana her father's name ,what was the need to indulge in criminal acts.Should've straight away asked her.But intelligence and Dev don't go together for a long time now and I guess he has started enjoying his stalking & peeping acts.

Now the question is,after coming down from his high, how will he behave?

Once there was a time that I liked Elena as a sister. But she has forgotten her worth(side effect of staying with Dixits,I suppose) and made choices that were bound to come and bite her. Even after clearly seeing the difference with how both families treat her,she blabbered everything in a second. Dev& Ishwari were concerned about only their own agenda. She can go dry her tears or drown in them for all they care.If only, she understood this.

My favourite & relatable scene today-Saurabh -Ronita.

Saurabh: Aapko ghumne jana kahan pasand hai?

Ronita:Jahan acha khana mil jae

Me:Muje Bhi😃

Saurabh: Especially Dessert

Me: Me too

PS: And what's all this talks about Biryani, pulao & cake on the first few pages.Stop tempting me you guys.😛😆
