Oh yes!! and that is exactly why he wanted to do the detective work himself. He wouldn't want to let go the details to a third person. So he was being protective of the child I felt. Hence he tried to get it clarified using his most trusted person from his house which is Elina. Even then he didn't tell her what his actual thought was.

So let us see when he comes to know the truth will he reveal to his mom ...
