Hi suvika nice write up!

Won't comment on the segment till it airs.

Sonakshi is one of the best female leads I have seen in a long time. Her character graph has remained the same with a few blips.

Sona had no need to inform dev about the baby considering the situation before, during & after the split. I don't blame her at all considering ishs tendencies towards vindictiveness & devs pandering to her demands!

On the other asking a 6yr old if she wants to meet her dad is unrealistic. Maybe her insecurities (natural for all mothers) are getting assuaged by the answers soha gives. The fact she is financially stable should give her confidence to disclose soha to dev.

On the other the cvs have really hammered dev & ishs character graph. Ish has sunk so low how will they redeem her? Dev on the other has been butchered to such an extent that people have started feeling how sona will ever go back to him. They need to show some introspection on his part. I know it's killing us but by serial world timeline it's not been very long.

Very nice post, left me teary eyed. Ishwari and Dev are very good at playing victim game. Ishwari suffocated Dev in the name of love and Dev in turn along with Ishwari did the same to Sonakshi. To me Dev and Ishwari are solely responsible for what ever happened. They both tested her patience and goodness to the limits and they deserve what they are going through right now. I know its fiction so Dev and Sonakshi will get back together but in real life mom and son duo does not deserve Sonakshi and estranged parents still make very good parents.

This post made my day. I have seen more posts of Dev's conditions and his pain and few of Sonakshi's side.. I am glad that I got to read this one.. It was never easy for her right from the time she got separated.. Remember, she didn't have a roof over her head and she had to look for her family.. Then, she had to take care of her child and at the same time, she had to become financially strong as she had to pay those loans and most importantly make her parents proud and give a good future to her daughter..

For the first time in show, we'll probably get to see Sonakshi side before the leap as per segments..

I may not have much experience in life since I'm a 20 year old boy.. But reading the different experiences in this post definitely is a huge inspiration for anyone.

Sona's decision of not informing Dev about the child had never anything to do with ego. It was fear of losing her child to the Dixits madness and to a father who could not take a stand against it. Even retrospectively it is and will always remain a right decision.

The fear is operating even today but now it has become more of what if my decision turned out to be wrong.

What I feel is that in the current scenario when Sonakshi is financially capable and settled she should inform Dev about Suhana. There is absolutely no danger of Dixits being able to snatch her child and the only thing she is doing is giving Dev the sympathy vote if the case goes in court.

Also Suhana can be no one to decide whether Dev wants to meet his daughter or not.

Am so glad she made an attempt. I mentioned this the other day. Its not about idealism v realism. The biggest issue with the show is we have no idea what the characters are going through and makes them take certain decisions. You can get your viewers to relate to your characters only if you spell out their thought process. You cant let the viewers assume and interpret situations the way they want 😆So its nice to see that we finally get a sneak peek into Sona's mind. If it takes the lead actor to fly to Indonesia for the writers to focus on the other character's FBs and POVs, so be it 😆

As for no danger of Dixits snatching her child... see...I think that is where she is not sure. She has seen Dev during the Ritwik phase and more importantly, she knows he loses his objectivity once his mother comes into the picture. The Dev she knows would break all laws just to please his mother. So yes, fear is still a factor.

But at the same time, she is not hiding away her daughter. She put her in school, drops her and picks her up. She has even met Dev in the school. If she had any intention of completely hiding Suhana away forever, she would have reconsidered her decision about the city and the school.

The answer is coming now Suvi. He refused to meet them. No details yet. But she knows now that he is not aware. So 😲
