As for Sonakshi, no, I don't think she is stone-hearted or even the least bit indifferent. Lots have asked if she was so scared of Dev coming to know about Suhana and snatching her away from Sona, why did she come to Delhi. Why not keep out of sight. Even I didn't understand it initially. Then I felt - she was, in a way, prepared for the eventuality of her past meeting her present. She probably is ready too, in her own way. After all, she is sharing the same office space with her child's father. When she told Bijoy in Kolkata that she was ready to face the world, it didn't mean that she is not afraid. It meant that she will face the world despite her fears. That she has a shield around her heart now and she doesn't use that heart to make her life's decisions. She did it once, got it thrashed and broken so thanks, but no thanks. She would use her head. And like you said, she was done being Ms Goodytwoshoes. She won't pull her punches.
Agree, I feel after getting almost cornered by Dev in school about her secret, Sona has realized it will not be too long for Suhana to be that secret and she is preparing her mind for the inevitable. However she is delaying it as long as she can with her face value decisions!!
It is very easy to get carried away with words Deepa. So very easy. Words filled with love, promises and passion. They grab our hearts and stick to them. And we hug them with everything in us. Make them as precious to us as the breath in our body. But at the end of the day, they are just words. Useless words - if they are not backed up by actions. Dev proved that to her time and again through the short period of their relationship. Every time he said something, his actions showed her just the exact opposite. I think the last straw for her had been when he said she is enough for him. She completed him. And the next morning demanded her promise to make that 7% to 100% just so he can get his maa back. I saw something in her break that day. After that I don't think she trusted his words. They went to Shimla and all that but her trust had a huge crack and it completely broke after the pre-nup. So now she doesn't trust words nor the emotion that accompanies those words. ESPECIALLY the emotion behind those words. Even with Suhana, she knows to not completely trust the words because her daughter's actions are giving her a different vibe. So she keeps reiterating that she would make sure Soha meets her papa if that's what she wants. But Soha keeps refusing and for now, Sonakshi is going to go along with that.
Very true..I am amazed how CVs gave the answer for our disappointments about Dev in this regard via Jatin on friday's episode. He is indeed a one emotion man who can deal with only one person at a moment. A promise given to one person which was broken the next moment when he was with another. The day he realizes to manage both person in that single moment is the day Sona might start seeing the meanings in those emotional words again!
As for Dev, he too has now understood the same thing. That words don't mean anything. People said one thing but meant the exact opposite. (Yes, he has conveniently forgotten the fact that he did the exact same thing to Sonakshi or maybe he remembers yet didn't expect Sonakshi to leave him despite his broken promises) GKB, Vicky, Neha, even his maa! ESPECIALLY his maa. The one who said she accepted Sonakshi but never did. The one who said she always wanted him to be happy but never allowed him to be. That is the reason he has stopped trying to please anyone with his words. He will just do. Whatever he wants. No explanation. No justification. Not even to his mother. Especially not to his mother. If she interferes, he puts a stop to it. If she lies to him, he lies right back to her. Last night she said meine teri khushi keliye yeh jhoot bola. He saw right through it and gave it back to her with his - Sonakshi kya karti hain mujhe koi farak nahi padta.
Dev's anger on Sona cannot be more beautifully explained than Saumie's post before the leap episode. He is totally being unreasonable but definitely undertsandable! He did expect Sona to stay back because he expected Sona to understand why he did break those promises without him explaining, a understanding which he never expected from any other soul of his house, even his mother ! Its a pity how his actions didn't match his words, still a long way to learn especially without his teacher now

There is a line around him that no one is allowed to cross. Except Golu. And now Suhana. That's what surprises him. The effortless ease with which the little girl slipped through, crossed that invisible line and touched that part of him that he kept away from the world. And he is curious.
Up until last night I understood Dev's thought process as to why he is not able to join the dots. It's for the simple reason that for him, it is out of the realm of possibility that Sonakshi would get pregnant and NOT tell him. There is absolutely NO scenario that he can envision where she would carry his child and NOT want to share it with him.

But somehow didn't like seeing him peeping through the window in last night's episode. I understand his reasons. Just not comfortable with the method he chose. Even with Shaheer's trip to Indonesia, the makers should have worked out a better option. And once the shooting schedule settles down, I really do hope they show this guy introspecting about himself at least a little. It gets tougher and tougher to defend him when he is hell bent on getting his ass kicked with his brainless stunts.
