First of all Dev should stop behaving as if his life is dependent on one other single person, making him or her the most important in his life🥱.. He has to love his own life irrelevant of anyone giving or contributing to it in multiple flavours.. And not go around putting priority labels on them and letting them know that he can only love one person the most and the rest have to wait for their turns..😆

Ishu isn't insecure anymore.. She knows her son so very well. If it's Sonakshi then she's out of his picture.. Unless she keeps the constant fight for his attention she knows she'll be out of his priority list soon.. She just don't want a random place in her son's life but only the topmost priority.. She'll not settle down for anything less. Unless he manages to stop that numbering game in different ways😉

Anyway it's too late now and he's lost all his chances to help his mother understand this.. He never did it for his own or his own sisters so doing it for anybody else is only gonna make Ishu feel more depressed.. Unless she's willing to make way on her own for her son's daughter. And there at least he should set things right from the beginning sharing his love without putting them through the number game...😉

First - I feel Ishwari loves herself too much to contemplate ending her life. He had told her more than a few times to stay OUT of his life. It was a direct hit from Dev to his maa. She took it. Didn't try to swallow pills or hang herself. Hell, she didn't even go and sit in that mandir like that day she did when she came to know about Sonakshi's infertility.

Second - if for some reason, Dev does think his mom would do something like that if he goes against her and defend, then he should let Sonakshi go. Stop stalking her. Stop interfering in her life. Stop sending flowers and needling her at every turn. Accept that they are just not meant to be together and pull back.

It is like this guy wants to have the cake and eat it too.

The story has reached the point where Ishwari cannot be shown to change and also she cannot die because that will be an open end to all the problems that this situation had brought in. I wonder how the solution and happy ending (if at all the CVs have planned one) is going to play out!

Agree with you all that its high time Dev manup and stand for Son's legitimate rights moreover now he has a daughter if he wants to be with her, he should show people their place in his life so his wife and daughter will be treated with respect. Now the million dollars worth question HOW? It will be a HUMONGOUS task to stop Ishwary or defend sona whenever she accuses the latter because of Ish's manipulative and blackmailing nature. ( pl bear in mind, he has given undue importance and supremacy to her in his life, which can't be undone now). My understanding is ladies like ISh they may give up their life rather than do things against their wish. they have such strong conviction about their deeds that whatsoever happens they will not bend or accept their follies. They may give up their life rather than live a forlorn life even if its their fault which they will be adamant to accept because of their strong conviction. They have a blurred vision when it comes to values and a very strong superiority complex and an unflinching faith in what they do. Just imagine if Dev speaks up his mind and emphatically states he choose sona and soha, Ishwari will commit suicide rather than accept her mistakes and acknowledge Sona's influence and importance in her son's life more than her. she is fine with living in a fool's paradise assuming that she is the queen of his kingdom even if his actions speaks contrary to that. (her agenda is if not me noone else). Unless the words are spoken out she lives in the delusional world. Do you think Dev will be able to live a contended life after she commits suicide even if he knows that he is not responsible for her death?

Everybody gets angry with Dev for not defending Sona, give me one practical solution how he can deal with a lady like Ishwary in the given situation?

Let Ish die then...anyways who wants her to live??😆
And as for Dev nt being happy...he deserves that for not having d courage nd standing up for the right thing.

Yes she is a selfish woman but portrays herself as epitome of kindness and righteousness...so only those who are like her can read her others especially a kindhearted guy like Dev he will be clueless about her callousness and cunnigness...unlike previously she has asked a direct question to him will you throw me out or accept Sonakshi? so she has indirectly challenged him, and knowing Dev she knows he will not dare to choose sona over her ( I will be the happiest person if he does so)...I don't trust this female, she may swallow pills just to threaten Dev but not to kill herself

he is end of the day Ishwari's son, according to DD (DEV DIXIT) law, pyar haq detha hai for doing anything and everything...stalking is permitted in his world

he OK with not having the cake but has problem if someone tries to have it...if I can't have it no one should have it😆😉

I think once Soha enters the picture, they will show her redemption. She had a mini redemption when she confessed her follies infront of Sona when she thought she was pregnant. I think Vicky and mamiji will also be exposed because of what they do to Soha. I think this is how CVs are going to go I would rather like to give her suprai to one of her and send her to narak right away.😆

A very important question (apt title) and I hope Creatives show this in a convincing manner. I had written in the weekly thread about Ishwari following Dev to check on him (runs in the family, I can presume!!) and finds him at Golu's school with Suhana. On further inquiry with Golu, she may figure out that Dev is aware of Suhana. If Dev does not push for Suhana's custody, and is still happy to be a part of her life, unknowingly, it would be give relationship goals to Ishwari on why it's not good to be obsessively possessive about your children!!!

OR

Vicky-GKB try to harm Suhana which comes to light and Ishwari realises that Dev is better off with the Boses than with the Dixit clan! After all, she never forgets to tell Mamaji,"Mere baad Dev ka kya hoga!"
