Many a times I wonder whether the reason for Sonakshi's treatment at the Dixit House was because of her background.

Let's imagine that Dev had married someone who belonged to a more well to do family.For example,Natasha.Had he been married to Natasha,would Ishwari ever interfere in their life as she had done when Devakshi were married?? Would Radharani and Ishwari ever have the guts to utter a word against her family?Would Dev ever dare to raise his hand on Mr Gujral like he slapped Bijoy??

Yup. And do you recall the dialogue baazi prior to that? Tum iss kamre ko jungle bana sakti ho, isko orange paint kar sakti ho etc etc... Tab maine likhha tha ki Dev Bose family ke chote se ghar mein kisi pe gira nehin, uske itne bade kamre mein ek jhoola kya laga, woh to aise girne laga jaise Ishwari ka character. Dev is just like Ishwari, you know? Woh sabko choice deta hain, woh choose karne ke liye jo woh chahta hain. Kuch aur choose karne ki koi right nehin deta.

I hope one day while confronting Dev, Sona brings out the point that forget about his life and family, Dev couldnt adjust with a jhoola or room decor for her ! For me, that had the lowest point and proof on how pathetic Dev was. So petty !! Because for other incidents, we can still give him benefit of doubt thinking he was torn between mommy and her, but the jhoola then eventually the 'doing your own chores' was the lowest blow to their relationship 😕 What can justify that ??

Andro, main bhi tumhari type ki idiot hoon. Dev babu kitne mahaan hain. Hum jaise stupid logon ke samajh ke bahaar. Rehne do, yaar. Dev babu hamare standard se upar hain. Hum na un logon ke saath adjust kar lete hain, jo apne biwiyon ko unke barabar samajhte hain aur wohi respect aur dignity dete hain jo woh humse expect karte hain.

Nope. Natasha won't have faced what Sonakshi faced. Why? Because 1. Radha is money hungry. She won't ever disrespect her. So Dev won't look like a jerk for not standing up for his wife's honour.

2. Ishwari's bigger concern than Dev's fawning is Dev's business. She would never produce pre-nup since Natasha is rich. The insult Sonakshi's family tolerated, Natasha's family won't. Also, she will be worried that Natasha might get angry and harm Dev's business which means interrupt in money stream, so she would bend over backwards to give Natasha every kind of space and will think herself that Natasha is just a business deal. So again, Dev won't have appeared spineless since he won't have to do the right thing.

So true! No matter how much the Dixits deny, their struggle for livelihood in the initial days has taught them to judge people for their economic status. It's always there at the back of their minds. Things as these work at the subconscious level and reflect knowingly/unknowlingly through their actions . Had Natasha been in Sona' place, Ishwari or GKB would have never dared to treat her the way they did with Sonakshi. It was as if Dixits ne ehsaan kr liya Boses pe Sonakshi se apne bete ki shaadi karwake! 🥱 I feel though they rose far far high from where they had begun the journey, but they lost a lot of things on the way..their mutual relationships, character, humility and so much more.

That's better and they should stage this drama before both Ishwari and Bijoy. Ek baar in front of the Dixit mansion and next in front of the Bose house. Mataji khush aur Baba bhi 😆 Aur haan, the order shouldn't be changed because mataji will then be like "Dev, tum aise kaise kar sakte ho? Tum donon ke firse ek hone ke baat bhi sabse pehle Sonakshi ke parivaar walon ko hi pata chala! Tum bhool gaye apni ma aur apne parivaar ko "🤪

Nope. Reason Dev ya Ishwari ka namuna rishta nehin hain. Kyunki woh log bahaar se to normal hi dikhte hain. Arranged marriage mein andar ki baat kahan shaadi se pehle pata chalti hain?

Reasons kuch aur hain. Koi bhi Bengali, vegetarion ghar mein arranged marriage nehin karwayega. Love marriage is different story. Kyunki without non-veg, Bengalis waise bhi adh mare ho jaate hain. Trust me, I know.

Meri cousin ne vegetarian Marwadi ghar mein shaadi ki thi. Pehla question usko mere relative se yehi aaya, "Tu wahan pe kya khayegi?"

Meri shaadi se pehle mere relatives call karke pucha, "Tu fish to rakhegi na?" Aur mera pati Canadian hain. Woh sab khata hain.

Non-vegetarian, Punjabi, sure... Non-vegetarian, Keralite? Sure. Non-vegetarian, Naga people? Woh bhi chalega. Bas vegetarian ladka ya ladki ka proposal arranged marriage mein kabhi nehin layenge Bong people. Aur waise bhi kaun vegetarian family non-vegetarian ghar mein arranged marriage ka rishta bhejenge? 😆
