I hope sona gives dixits the valid reasons of not sharing the news rather then stupid reason like i was scared..!!!!!
She has 100 reasons to hide compared to one reason for dev to know..only reason dev should know it is he is ger father

100 reasons why sona should not share is not hidden from anyone...dixit clan se har kisi ko bachaye bhagwaan...

i agree with you . sona using soha's reluctance to call her dad cannot be an excuse or a valid reason for her to hide soha from dev.

dev dixit may be powerful and a maa bhakt, but a pre nup is a very powerful legal document. let's not make a mockery of it . sona being educated and having a fair share of friends, there is no way she would have been jobless for long and would have scummed to hunger or forced to return back the child to him due to financial status. she has ample means to provide for basic necessities of her kid.

her fearing dev dixit itself is meaningless. if she feared he could go to any extent, then in the first place she would have stuck with him under all circumstances. once she stepped out and a divorce happened, there will be no bond between the spouses unless they "LEGALLY REMARRY". unfortunately everyone is getting carried away like Ishwari and not looking into how the law works.

well knowingly or unknowingly, Ishwari has with her own hands ruined her son's life . dev knowing about soha but unable to do anything about it , rotting because of the revelation would have been an ideal death blow to the Ishwari.

@ Bold - Randomramblings - One thing is to be educated and search for job, another thing is to have the whole family pressure on your shoulder because of YOUR wrong decision to marry a wrong guy. We all have seen Dev's reasonings on his zeal to do better and better in terms of career for his family. But he always knew that he wasn't the reason behind their poverty. Here Sona knew it was her responsibility alone since she insisted to marry Dev and then mortgage the house.

Anyways, I agree, Ishwari single-handedly has destroyed her son's life. What amazes me is how non-introspective she is 😆 I mean she lambasted at Sona today, for what 🤣

I am waiting for the death blow to Ishwari, death, death-blow, whatever. 😆

Every father deserves to know about his kid. If the parents are facing a separation, it should not affect the kid in any way. Somehow, the infertility track contributed a majority to the separation track.

For me, one solid reason is Dev telling "Ek aur duty tumne poori nahi ki.. tum maa nahi ban sakti.. achi baat hai.. varna tum kabhi achi maa nahi ban sakti" This can be the sole reason for not keeping Dev updated about his daughter. Stranded on the roads with no emotional or financial assistance is dreadful. If at all Dev gets to know of the identity of Soha, he should empathize with Sona for rising up from the ashes and bringing their daughter up with the right morals and principles. :)

@ Bold - That is also one of the MAIN reasons for Sona to argue on if being asked. I couldn't believe my ears when Sona actually said that lame reason 😆.

Having said that, Sona DOES have ALL the valid reasons in her kitty to show Dixits their place and role in Soha's birth. When time comes, hope she uses them 👏

Sona quoting fear as her reason - Though I would like to see her really reasoning her fears and be prepared for it, I'm ok as she at least will think through it to start with. Slowly she can give deep thoughts and come up with options for her own to handle the situation if it arises. She blindfolding herself and postponing the inevitable is proving her to be low in confidence level thus needing someone to support her all the time... She need not be right and perfect all the time but can't she be daring enough to be strong in her own POV? I know the CVs are still playing safe with her thought process and do not want to juggle much with her characterization for want of not losing the sympathy on her by the TRP audience 😆

I would have loved Sona to have raged when Jatin asked about sharing the news with Dev... If only she could have just asked "Why should I share the news with him? Does he really bother about me having a baby or me getting lost from the world... Does he really care?"😉

I too was disappointed with Sona quoting that she did ask Soha and she said no... This was something a weak script and lazy dialogue that this CV normally do for Sonakshi... I'm ok she being a mother who wants to make her daughter an important part of her own decisions.. But she also should understand that her daughter is still growing up where her decisions are not steadfast and they are bound to be volatile... The CVs are also not showing much bonding between the mom-daughter because that means the girl can open up her at any time thus the CVs will lose on the drama quotient of keeping the thrilling moment on for long... 😆 They will make us bored to death with the suspense of whether Dev gets to know now, now, now... Then bomb blast.. Only that by then it will be all water balloon😆

You hit the nail on the head again man. 😆

I know exactly what you mean. CV's are afraid to show a FL calling a spade a spade if it's against the ML of the show or the BUZURG of the show. I mean today's scene, trust me if I were Sona, I would have stopped the elevator in the middle and tried to make her feel that 'I'm gonna choke you to death here budhiyaa now eat your words and die rot here'. 😡 But how calmly she answered. When one impression of this act is of being a class apart, it also means this girl is never going to SHOUT at the old regressive pathetic lady ever due to their equation. WHY ? A wrong person, irrespective of their relationship, is a wrong person. 😡

I hope CV comes up with better offensive and defending statements for Sona with Dixits. Dixits are ONLY offensive, why always play Defensive with them ? 🥱

😉😆 They cannot do this to the TRP audience man 😆. I mean after all locking her up in an empty office at midnight and enjoying pizza at home must be a heroic act. Bravo 😆 ! Dev can take 5 mins to decide to lock her up there, violating laws doing criminal activity and order Pizza, but Sona shouldn't take 5 mins to decide something not-so-criminal na 😆

😆 Trust me, if CVs has shortage of reasons, I can give them 100 at one go.

CVs please let us know if you don't find a proper reason for Sona to hide it from Dev than something as lame as saying 'Soha ne kaha tha' 😕😆

The problem is not about reality v. idealism. The biggest issue with this show is the lack of conversations and lack of clarity in terms of everyone's thought process except probably Dev. Which is also partly why he gets the most sympathy 😆 We know Dev wants a child real bad, we know he is a nice guy who just cannot handle things in life and resorts to manipulations or short term solutions, we know he loses sight of right and wrong when it comes to his family, we know he is alone, we know he is depressed and scarred, we know he already loves Soha and the kid brightens up in his presence. What about the other characters? What about Sona? What did she feel when she first got pregnant? Did she immediately decide to inform Dev but backtracked fearing the repercussions? Did she still want to inform him after coming to Delhi but his current aggressive scared her? Do we know anything about her thought process here apart from that stupid conversation she had with Jatin? None at all. Hell, I don even understand what Ishwari thinks and wants and why she is so delusional. That IMO, is the biggest issue of this show. We have no clarity in terms of who is thinking what and why a character reacts in a certain way. It is left to the viewers to interpret it the way we want depending on what we want to see. Oh Sona has moved on, she is happy with Jatin, there is no love, she is not sharing Soha cos she knows what Dev and his mom are capable of..Oh Sona hasn't moved on, she just has a strong facade, she is jealous, she is insecure like Ishwari so she wont share Soha. So what is the truth? No one knows and am convinced the writers themselves don't know 😆
P.S. There is another reason why so many are rooting for Dev-Soha. Shaheer is wonderful with kids and the girl literally brightens up in his presence. I din see that in any other scene till date. And it looks like they have an instant connect and Dev will make for a wonderful dad. IMO, its more Shaheer the actor than Dev the dad 😆 The kid probably brightens up because of Shaheer and that goes a long way in establishing that instant connect between the characters. I say it again. No one would bother with this show if not for the actors. Dev-Sona, Dev-Soha, Dev-Golu- its not the characters but the actors who compensate for the nonsense the writers spew 😆

The Dixie household is a cesspool of idiocy and not wanting to expose Soha to that level of dysfunction is the reason she should give when asked! Ishwari is a stalker Mom and Dev needs to get a restraining order against her. Even Sona should get one to keep Soha from getting exposed to all that negativity. The fact that Ishwari blames all of her family's problems on Sona is a good enough reason to keep her daughter out of their clutches! Ishwari is delusional!!! Dev has a right to know about his daughter, but his ugly words would forever haunt me if I were Sona. When he said that it's good God didn't give her a child b/c she would be a horrible mother ( or she didn't deserve to be a mother)...he said something to that extent. Anyhow, that wouldn't endear me to share my daughter in the least. Soha was raised in a loving and emotionally balanced environment and the Dixit's household is the exact opposite! Even Golu sees and hears horrible things, gets ignored and isn't the Dixit's #1 priority. They say that it takes a community to raise a child and I believe that. Sona brilliantly kept Soha away from becoming a circus animal and being smothered by Ishwari. Hoping Sona is honest when the time comes and points out that Soha would never have a good upbringing in that household. I'm hoping that Soha puts Ishwari in her place and stands up for her mother unlike her father who let Sona get steamrolled by her. #hateishwari

Honestly I think Dev has no right to be in Soha's life. In fact, I think it would be the worst possible thing for Soha and Sonakshi's emotional wellbeing. I think Dev is a weak, entitled, impulsive BRAT who thinks he can win anything with his damn temper tantrums and treat Sona like a puppet if he wishes. His treatment of his wife and even earlier, his treatment of his girlfriend, was never the way it should have been. He broke up with Sonakshi for his mom because she was ill, I respected him. Then he pulled all that stalker crap, not letting her move on with her life - because he believed she should still put him first despite having initiating the breakup. I know the DEWAANGI track was shown to be this great, desperate love, but it wasn't. It was entirely about possession and control, which is one of the reasons why they got here - they didn't have a good foundation. And that is in part Sonakshi's fault for falling for his crap - she should have run for the damn hills! Then as her fiancee, he should have been honest with her about her medical condition, because he didn't have the right to supersede her in the way he did. And to keep hiding it from her post-wedding and letting her hope and build dreams - who the hell does that? Apparently Mr. Dev Dixit doesn't have to give his wife basic human rights and respect. He never once thought of her in the whole thing, he said he did, but all he thought of was himself and his mom. Then when things got hard, he fought with her instead of supporting her - he SLAPPED her father and yelled and insulted her - then he got drunk and divorced her and shoved the prenup his mom got signed in her face. A man who treats his wife this way has no business being a father, especially not to a young girl! What would she learn, that it's ok for women to be overlooked and lorded over by men? And his current womanizing habits - that would be teaching his daughter that men with money can buy, use and throw women as they wish! Yuck!
Then there is the whole issue of his family - which is beyond horrid! His money-minded cousin brought Sonakshi and her family to the streets, so what would he do to a child? Not to mention, the one kid in that house is already showing signs of being a bit spoiled and not getting the love he deserves. Everyone in that house, with the exception of Dev's uncle, hate Sonakshi, how would they treat her daughter? And even if they were to treat her okay, what would she be taught about her mom and her maternal relatives, that they and their culture is wrong and unacceptable? And let's not pretend that Ishwari wouldn't try to separate mother and child if she could - the ONLY person she cares for is her son. Plus, her money-minded, power abusing son Dev would totally do it!
I now watch this show only to watch Sonakshi move on with her daughter and hope that she denies Dev ANY form of contact with Soha, not only because it's what he deserves, but it's what's best for Soha. Yes, having a dad is important, but Soha has a good, stable family and Dev is neither a good person nor a stable one. She'd be better off with a single mom or a step-father who could truly act as a good role model (like Jatin - but only when Sona's ready).

👏 Very well said...
The Creatives enjoy the multiple perspectives given the audience to the character behaviors😉😉... And they enjoy this confusion among the audience.. If not for that the show will fall flat 😊... Yes of course apart from the actors... But even with the actors there is only so much one can take... Rest all is the game the CVs smartly play with the characters without revealing all... And that gives the mental satisfaction on dissecting through their thought process quenching the thirst for our mental ability... And that sure is needed for any successful story telling else we don't have much of innovation in coming up with new stories.. Because almost all are explored to death and done digging through their grave... 😆

The CVs very well know that they just have to draw a dot for each character with an action for them.. Rest all the audience will take care... 😉 And too much of hidden thought process fails to garner TRPs because not all like to think deep through the character mindset straining their own minds... 😆
