I think it'll unfold like this - Dev has already taken an immediately liking towards Soha and more over completely charmed by how angelic and innocent beautiful heart this little girl has . So in the precap he'll see Jatin and Sona sitting on both sides of Soha , giving completely co parents vibe . So he'll assume Soha is their daughter and though he'll be mad for just a tiny bit of time , he'll very soon completely back off Sona because if he pulls an act to separate Sona from Jatin , Soha will suffer becoz of her parent's separation. HE'll sacrifice and let Sona go for the sake of Soha.

I think Dev will figure out Soha is his daughter. He will be very angry with Sona for keeping him away from his daughter for 7 yrs.

Meanwhile Ish will tell Dev abt her confrontation with Sona. N wud lie that Sona is marrying Jatin so even Dev shud get married now as Vicki said till d time Jatin is there in Sona's life, Sona wud not get back with Dev.

Dev wud be furious that if Sona marries Jatin...Soha wud hav a complete family and it will be difficult for Dev to get Soha's custody.

So he will agree to get married as per lawyer's suggestion as it wud improve his chances of gaining custody. There was a spoiler long time back abt lawyer suggesting Dev to remarry to gain custody of daughter.

This makes a sense. I don't want any dirty mind assumptions. I think marrying a girl is his masterplan to get custody.
