Why did soha and dev...??

I just loved that Dev and Soha's scene, they both were the centre of attention today.Yet i am amazed by the fact that why did soha smile back to dev?

I get the fact that dev smiled seeing a small cute kid speaking such things ... well anyone can like that but i do not think that soha is as important as golu is to dev...at least till now ... then despite golu's several attempts of calling his bigcha why does dev get so attracted to soha..?

And why did soha smile at dev when she doesnt know him? Its as if they both are familiar with each other while its the other way eh??

How does she remember her lines when she sees dev... has sona shown the pic of dev to her??

Frankly, the whole scence was melodramatic for me rather than anything else. Why would Soha even stare and smile at a random stranger in between her speech and then speak to each other in their sign language. Aisa kaha hota hai? The writers have long last their ability to create simple and realistic scenes that can have a greater emotional appeal than just showing something random with a good bg music to evoke emotions.

Maybe it is just a friendly gesture. Like we smile at people on the bus/train when they allow way/seat for us. It is from both the sides. Here, it is kind of forced though! Good that they did not show more bonding between them as it might sound weird for a stranger to become best friends with an unknown school girl (unknown - from their perspectives)
