But then as you said even though that show was OTT at times,the characters had a very strong base.Prerna the lead character had two relationships with two different men at different points in her life.But the love which both the men had for her was deep and selfless.And she did love them too in different ways.That's why she was different from most of the other heroines because somehow she broke the stereotype that you can love only person and never fall in love again.Dev's love cannot be compared to either Anurag's love or Mr Bajaj's love.Dev is the Mills and Boons inspired character with Durjoy Dutta's mirch masala.

I agree, the core story was mature too. I mean comeon first love is not the end of the world, and marriage with the second man in your life can also be blissful. Prerna's character was multi-layered where at more than one point she loved both the men. When I was a kid, of course I loved it due to all stupid reasons, passionate love blah blah, but today if I look back, the character truly reminds me of some of the iconic Sharatchanda Chattopadhyay or Tagore characters like Achala from Grihadaha or Binodini from Chokher Bali - a destructive woman yet loving woman 😉 .
From FL perspective, Sonakshi Bose truly attracts me too. 😳 I think she is the second most interesting character I have seen in television. So no complaints on FL front.
But like you said, the ML omg Dev doesnt come close to even M&B heroes please. Dev's actions are not heroic 😆 . I mean by just having money and power or building a company one doesnt become MB hero 😆 Those heroes are also very respectful and dignified towards women what about that . I prayed death for me when someone compared Dev to even Mr.Darcy what do you say about that Ayesha 😆 😆
Zedd- Yes I know what you mean. At some points, Anurag-Prerna's love story became so boring with too much amount of rona dhona and sacrifices that one needed a grey and a bit complicated character to take the story forward. And yes, his cameo of 2 months had to be extended and he had to be made a parallel lead with changed characteristics and all 😉 . Then he also became too goody-two-shoes and boring. 🥱 Well good for me, after all I am hardcore PRB fan 😳
I am looking forward to today's episodes wondering what that encounter between Ishu and Sona mean. They had an encounter before right ?
