The reason why no one wanted Dev to invest money in Sona's business secretly is because of their past..Dev did try to invest in the business but could not stand by it infront of his mom.

Now that Sona returned ater 7 yrs and is successful, atleast Dixits wont take the credit that it is all because of Dev's secret investment.

bottom line is - every business needs investor .. it is better if the investor and business owner doesnt have a bitter past

v well written...

Every start-up needs funding. Dev was not wrong in investing in her start-up. I still don't get why people can't keep personal and professional life different. Investor just provides money but start-up becomes successful with the hard work of founders and other employee. there are so many start-ups which are funded but not successful which shows it depends on founder and not investor.
Even I was fine with Dev investing or Jatin investing in her start-up

Nice post Moni.
I agree with you but with slight difference. I didn't liked Dev and Jatin's investment in Sona's business. Dev for obvious reasons and for Jatin, i would be happy if they would have shown him only as friend. Mixing personal and professional life is not good and i hope they don't take this jatin ka investment wala "ehsaan" to another level. Did you see Bijoy's reaction was different in Jatin's case but Dev did the same 7 years back, but baba was angry then. Dev's investment was taken in other sense and i dunno how will Jatin's investment will be considered.

Investment is a good option but from a third party where you don't share personal emotions.

It becomes a problem if Dev is shown to be the savior of Sonakshi. As long as Sona is shown better than Dev in all aspect then there would be no issues but if she is shown taking help from her husband or ex husband then things like self respect, women empowerment, feminism everything comes into picture .

I am giving my view of investors, from the real world. There is something called being professional. Personal equations hardly matter when it comes to investing. I have worked with some of the most ruthless VC companies in the US during the 4 start ups that I did over the last 20 years. I never had a good relationship with them, except for a few. In fact, it is not good to have a personal relationship at all. It does backfire when things go bad.

It is better to work with a VC on a zero good relationship basis. That way, emotions don't come into play and decisions can be objective, correct and timely.

What is shown in the show is a farce!

well done M soni...who said this is faltu post...you have nailed it...so getting help from your husband is ehsaan but from from friend is fine...wow...new theoreis of rationals behind Investment...Dev invested in Sourabh's business because he liked the business model and found it very lucrative...he doesn't have to disclose his decision neither to his mom nor to his wife..because as a business tycoon he will be making 'N" number of investments if he starts giving updates to his family he will not have time for anything else...the issue for Ish was, not Dev investing in the company but hiding it from her...because of exogenous factors (involvement by Bijoy and insinuation by GKB) the matter went out of hand...otherwise he would have solved it amicably between his Ma and wife... well done SonyšŸ‘

The problem is not Dev investing in Sona's company, its always his family's reaction to the fact. Remember he invested in Sona-Saurabh's company and what happened, one thing led to another and boom Ishwari got her golden chance to pull prenup and that led to separation of Devakshi.
Same thing would have had happened now, If say Dev would have invested secretly in Sona's company. Would Dev had supported Sona and Bose's in front of his family this time is or was something to speculate, but history is definitely not good on this instance. So better to be safe then sorry and thus all wanted no investment from Dev.
Jatin is also a business man and he like any other investor invested in Sona's business. He does not have a dangerous family like Dixit's and so Sona and Bose's are safe.

One thing I would say, every business gets funding from outside, nothing wrong in who is investing, both gets benefit from profit. It does not mean someone is weak, nada.

What amaze me is most is - failurity of Devakshi marriage is lays on Dev and his actions and Ishwari not accepting Sonakshi was Bahu ?>

Did Bose papa accepted Dev as son in law?
Did Bose papa is not responsible for too much interfering into daughter's marriage ?

Agreed - Dev not able to control many things in pleasing his mother and his family. Was he right ? No period of that. Similarly Sona was not able to control the actions of her father. Bose Papa was equally responsible for creating mess in the Devakshi's life.

If Ishwari never accepted Sonakshi ,then Bose papa never accepted Dev as son- in- law.So why blame only Ishwari for not accepting Sonakshi as VAHU😳

After 7 years - Change in devakshi
Dev is capable of giving back answers to Ishwari and questioning her interntions ?

But SOna was standing there and there only even after 7 years of separation.
Sonakshi doesn't have capacity to stop Bose papa even now.

So if Dev has invested in Sonakshi's business , and everyone came to know about it. Now DEV DIXIT has capacity to shut everyone's mouth including his mother. But unfortunately Sonakshi doesn't have this capacity to control mouth of bose papa 😳
