If Dev n Sona were in cordial relationship then Dev helping Sona out wud be fine. But after being termed gold digger, thief, Sona wud never want to take Dev's help. If Dev's investment led to her success then all credit wud hv gone to Dev n not to Sona's merits n Sona wud be devastated n felt like a failure who still needed Dev's money to earn her livelihood. She wud still be insulted of taking advantage of Dev. She wanted to prove a point to greedy Dixits that she can take care of her family without their money and had Dev helped her for this financially..then d whole point wud become mute.
