I probably loved yesterday's episode much more than day before that. KRPKAB has a way of hitting a masterstroke when you least expect it. Ek obviously dhamakedar episode ke baad it comes out with its true rang! And you are left thinking what did I just see?
I have already seen it twice... Last night and today morning. I couldn't stop myself!
This time around I noticed some nuances in each scene:
Hospital scene:
When she denied being his wife, the original KRPKAB track played that added an old note to it... Like giving it a sense of familiarity.
Sona never overtly expressed her worry for dev but the scene she looked through the window, accompanied with those soft piano chords... Clearly expressed all she was trying to hide.
I so wish ishwari hadn't spoken to sona because then the conversation with dev would have gone very different. As this would be the first time their egos wouldn't have been talking. Did you notice how with the family and doctor around talking, these two had eyes just for each other! Specially dev...hoe lovingly he looked at her. Wanted to say something but was cut off by sona who by then had already put her defences up probably scared that ishwari would again blame her of trying to establish a relation with them. Dev didn't understand what was going on.. And as she was moving out... I swear he his heart was screaming sona don't go please!
How do I know because I was saying the same thing!
The last time the camera focuses on dev... His eyes said it all! He probably had lost another chance to talk with her!
Dixit house scenes:
Ishwari and Dev scene. I am amazed at how such a poignant scene was executed with the least of accompaniments. No loud bgm or drum beats or soups of lightning cracking... U know the usual. Instead there was just again some chords and a soft tune... Letting the dialogues have their centre space.
Same with golu scene. His dialogue of tere wajah se aram mila speaks volumes of his condition in his own house!
Bose house:
Now this scene really touched a lot of hearts. Soha drawing her father, imagining him to be like super hero, reminding her mom of the beautiful moments she spend with her dad, and lastly the kiss she gave...without saying anything she said a lot. And the reaction was evident in sona and ma Baba's faces. After all.. Nothing could justify soha not being able to ever feel a father's love!
And the KRPKAB track again did wonders here.
The last scene... I got my bose family back! Their bickering, banter, fun, etc.. God I missed it!
Great to see the brother-sister efforts going so well, with dadi as a consultant!
And can't wait to see soha with mama!
One last point.. As jatin comes in for which the stage has already been set. Dev knows him as her sun. So when he sees sona with a kid.. Will he think that it's that person's kid? Or are they really going to start with soha track!
