Wow! My emotions are running high at the moment! I felt like I just got an episode in classic KRBKAB style...emotions expression with class and subtlety! It sure was a fresh change from the dramatic encounters we have been having between the two for past days. I tell you when the makers stick to their style... They really can't be beaten! This was what we all fell in love with... The one which puts us to sleep with a smile on our faces without showing any romance, humour or light scenes.
Coming to the show... I don't think I can put into words the beauty of the episode and significance that each and every scene had... But then again such an episode is worth more than a post! So I will try!
Dev comes back home: nothing much to observe except his clear indifference for his family including him mom. The only one he asks about is golu. And walks off without giving to hoots to his mom.
Sona comes back home: a worried family immediately engulfs her, the first one being her daughter soha. She explains that while she was trying to find her phone to call them it felt as if 'paero tale ki zammen khisak gayi '...obviously referring to the encounter with dev. While Bose family thought of the earthquake, the audience knows she was referring to the turmoil of emotions dev's sudden show of concern has wound up in her heart and mind. Loved her expressions here... They matched those with which last night ended. That question, 'why dev?' was clear on her face.
Next scene gives us a scene at the Dixie house and what follows is a show of parallels among the two households.
Mamaji and ishwari come to dev's room, miffed about why he had gone to save sonakshi while taking a risk of his own life. My question, is it even an question? Don't you know why?
Anyway, dev again tries to brush it off saying that he had gone only with concern for her safety and would have gone for anyone. There is nothing except hatred and anger between them now. This irks ishwari and she comes up with the most powerful dialogue of tonight's episode (my personal favorite) which aptly describes the post leap scenario.
'yahi toh afsos hai ki tune uske sath nafrat ka rishta rakha hai aur baki sab ko chor diya 'đđ. Whoever wrote this sure deserves an applause because it was brilliantly on point. And something uniquely KRPKAB. It is self explanatory so I meant go into details and spoil it's beauty... All I wanted to say is that it had the desired effect...a turmoil could be seen rising in dev's eyes too as ishwari's words hit him.
Cut to Bose house where sona is sitting alone dealing with her own turmoil. But of course her daughter and mother immediately sense it. She kisses her daughter away and probed by her mother-cum-bestfriend, speaks her heart out. She confessed that the credit for her being safely at home goes to dev. She too goes to explain that there is nothing between them only to be interrupted by asha asking her what she say in his eyes. That's only what matters! Her reply she saw anger, a fire... Probably regret for messing up his life and letting her go! And that comes up in the exchanges with her. Not totally wrong sona!
As if completing her answer we get a golu-dev conversation where dev says he is angry because after making a world of promises he left her. She left her alone when she had promised she won't, when she knew what she meant to him. This is the sole grudge he is being holding again at t her all these years... Not what he had said that no night or what all he has saying these days. Yes it's twisted, but it's as simple as that! Loved loved this parallel! Fire (aag/gussa)seems to have been the underlying theme.
The remaining respective scene:
Asha sending the affinity they have towards each other advices her daughter to wisely keep herself away from the fire she can't put out. Sona obviously doesn't get it yet and insists that she stay there, assuring her that nothing could ever happen between them. But alas 'mother knows best! ' her face clearly shows she can predict what's gonna happen. But at least we know she will support her daughter unlike another mother we know! đ
On the other hand golu in his simple logic understands that his bigcha had gone to save his big chachi and that shows that he loves her! The innocent if his age!
Dev for the first time reveals his emotions towards sonakshi to this little kid who is too small to comprehend a word he says. He acknowledges he doesn't know what he feels now (a revelation in its self) but there was a time when he had lover, and how! And he goes on to his gussa and nafrat ki kahani. Which he has nursed and kept alive for seven years. Umm, who was it telling ishwari today he tries to move on?
Next morning: Vicky has sent goons to beat dev up, as his constant presence in office is harmful for his business.(whatever that is!)
As fate would have it... Dev unknowingly calls sonakshi who hears everything on the phone! Anyone reminded of a designer from om shanti om!!!
Of course she comes running! Spots his car, his phone, and calls out to him only to have dev call her back.. 'sonakshi...'
With the Old breakup bgm... How sweet the name sounded! A golden scene it was!

It is in this critical condition, that they would have a sane serious conversation in years. It still hurts to even say that they are not together just as dev had stumbled yersteday! And they say they don't care!
Anyway, looking forward to the talk! They have no where to hide now! This is the talk I wanted, an opening for dialogue between them. I hope they continue when dev is not half conscious. And if in between the take up jealousy track... I not complaining!
Looking forward, eagerly for the old bgm tomorrow!
