A new character in Sona's life may be more realistic and may increase TRP but its a wishful thinking. Our CVs are too scared to experiment with the new Ideas. A new ML and his good association initially with Soha and later with Sona may give a better plot with Dev and Ish burning with Sona happiness. Dev loosing Sohas custody may be an interesting sequence in the plot.

There should be no forgiveness for characters like Dixits

Its too much of expectation !!!

Dev had shown his class / crass when he compelled Sona to hire for his mother. From that episode in my view it was a disgusting character.

Well said.

Ak acchi show ka kaya halat kar diya CVs ne. Day by day they killed the charm of Dev's character. Such a cheap thought. But it would be more pathatic when cvs will be shown that Sona forget everything , Dev se maafi mangegi bla bla bla. Don't believe our cvs anymore. If they shown something like that I'll quit the show.

Excellent point. You see, when Dev used to say that he learned how to respect women from his mother. He was right. Ishwari doesn't respect women.

The same way, Sonakshi must have learned respect from her parents because even after hearing the most disgusting comment, she never went to his mother.

That is the difference between class and crass.

Money can give you status and fame. But money can't give you class. Either you have it or you don't.

Tia you hit the nail on the head. The whole of Dixit family has only crass and no class. This is what happens to the newly made crore patis

I agree to you on this one...I feel that dialogue was given to him for a reason...because he has always felt that even during difficult times his mom never bend for others ...we know this from those initial scene where he is looking at a knife kept in a box...we also know that his mom has a past which she is not comfortable to share with her son ...

Regarding that cricket scene...Golu breaking that glass vase I felt was symbolic...Golu is listening to all conversation betwn the adults of the family and he sometimes walks around with mobile as well...we never he might tell the truth to his Bigcha...

Ichose to ignore thecomment as it was not about her character, else Sonakshi would have slapped him. She gave it back immediately, using similar words and meaning so Dev didn't have any answer. Let me explain further, where I am coming from. The dialogue said by Sonakshi before this comment by Dev is also important. She said something to the tune of "Tum hum sabko chor keh rahe ho?" And he replies that "Aajkal kisi par bhi bharosa nahin kiya jaa sakhta!" Then the seemingly controversial dialogue was made - Hinting that she can also steal the important papers from his office and snatch his deals. She gave back in similar fashion with the same connotations. So was she also hinting at Dev's character? Not at all. I don't think its right to dissect a dialogue in isolation

Forumites have gone berserk because there is lot of animosity towards Dev's character. Dev knows for sure that what he has done is wrong, else he wouldn't tell Golu,"Mujhe bhi koi daat padne wala hain!" He is thinking this is all a game for him, as he doesn't know about his little one waiting for Sonakshi at home!! When Suhana unfolds and the father-daughter meeting happens, all these incidents would be in FB mode for Dev to regret.

For me as a viewer these things don't matter. Dev and Sonakshi are not my relatives or neighbours or friends. Viewers are just wasting their time getting hyper!!!! Tomorrow, if the Creatives decide to change the script, both of them could be in each others arms or one of them could get killed!!!!!! Nobody knows. Enjoi the show. That's all.

You are right ...no need to be emotional...and I am not getting emotional...to do review or analyse a character is fun that's all...and to discuss your thoughts and POVs with other ppl and get to know what they thought abt it is even more fun...by doing this we also get multiple view points of the same situation...I really liked Jyothi's post about the same comment ...and vey different from my POV...but that's ok and that doesn't stop me from liking the way she thought...its just another way of looking at it.

There are two interpretations going on about the words of dev

"Zaamana bahot kharab hai. Kuch kaha nahi ja sakta. Kisi pe yakeen nahi kiya ja sakta. Aur waise bhi tum toh kuch nahi se bahot kuch ban gayi ho. Mujhe kya pata tumhe kya kya karna pada hoga."

The context is theft and fraud but one has to consider other important parameters - words, who is saying it and is it action or reaction

Consider the words - kuch nahin se bahot kuch ban gai ho - means she has nil capability, nil resources.

other words - kya kya karna pada hoga-

Dixits are from north India - aur North India main if he meant chori or fraud - he would have said - Kya kya kiya hoga and not used the word "Karna pada" . Karna pada is used when something is done / compelled against your wishes.

Now with NIL capability, NIL resources, what a female could have been compelled to do to earn big money. Moreover its allegation on a female whom a male wants to hit really hard and a psycho will always hit below the belt so is the interpretation on the character of Sona and not a simple Tashan of allegation

Even I thought it was questioning her character...but there a lot many ppl who felt it was not that...again its the way we perceive things ...
