A note... : Why this is the end...

It is undoubtedly humbling to read more and more requests for another part but let me share a thought process as to why this OS should end here.

Suvi and me are very logical writers... She can get a little filmy at times and I pull her back. 😉The serial has 3 leads and the major issue is communication between these leads.

Now no one really cares if Ishwari and Sona have a conversation or not.. because they are tied by Dev. So Dev has to have conversations with both while he needs to balance the two and now the little one... 3 women.

Dev is going to hold Soha at bay till his equation with Ishwari is not settled and his equation with Soha cannot be defined unless he finds a firm ground with Sonakshi.

The other 2 conversations had a past, they played the blame game and needed to be shown the mirror, which we attempted here.

But with Soha it is a different equation. It is a new beginning and something that definitely cannot be formed in one part, if we had to do justice to it...

Also Dev Sona relationship has to improve for the Dev Soha relationship to strengthen. Something that definitely cannot be achieved in a single part.

It would be similar to we trying to write Soha Ishwari relationship without fixing the Dev Ishwari equation.

We cannot really ignore the Dev Sona interaction while trying to write the Dev-Soha conversation and as readers you will feel let down.

For us to take it forward, then this has to be converted to a full blown FF and we are still not sure we can or rather should do that.

Hence we thought of concluding it with hope. Dev thinks he has lost everything and the call is the light at the end of the tunnel.

It brings HOPE!!

I hope I make sense. Do let me know what you guys think.

Hi Divya, it is not that we can't understand. But you two write so beautifully that ye dil maange more. We have absolute faith in you guys and we have none on the CV's. So what to do? Any way this was too beautiful and satisfying too.

Ok can I ask you something on Neha and what would have happened in these seven years. If both you and Suvi can write it will be too good to be true. But I will keep my expectations to the minimum. So how about a new OS. Divya?

P.S: I am having trouble with IF. Can't quote or post new posts or use emoticons. Comments I am managing with paste from Word app here.

You guys r really excellent on writing.

Is it possible for you guys write Dev realising his mistakes.

I felt your writing again to put sona to go understanding trip. We had seen enough sona understanding. My wish is to see Dev understanding sona at least once.

As we know why sona was all into being best bahu. Bcoz she knew how much eshwari was important to him. I don't think Bcoz she loved eshwari and doing all that to please eshwari.

I agree it was mistrust from sona on Dev regarding pre-nup and throwing bejoy family out of their house. But those cruel words used by him was not sona's imagination. How she will erase those harsh words, firstly he told her get out from his house and secondly such a cruel words when he knew she cannot become mother.

All I wish is at least Dev realise how much he hurt sonakshi than sona thinking about even she is responsible for breakup.

I am sure cvs will take your route as they don't want any redemption from ML.

Since it is not going to happen in this serial.. I just wish of you guys could come up with Dev realisation as a separate os. .you guys are just amazing writers. May be my wish will be fulfilled.

It's high time you used that ointment for yourself lady!! When did I say I have no problem giving another part?? I said another part won't do justice unless I turn this whole thing into an FF. 😆

As I responded to her in my thread, can't you guys make a final part with Dev & Suha jointly calling Sona and asking "Can we talk - together momma"? It might give you the domino effect you guys expect too😳

I don't want a detailed FF for Dev-Suha bonding but just want to savour that emotional connect these two share for the first time and am sure you both can do full justice to that !

Stop!! That puppy crying face won't work on me. 😆 First meeting between the father - daughter would be decidedly awkward with Suhana asking pretty direct questions. That means Sonakshi - Dev equation will once again come into picture. Too many logistics.
This one ended on a lovely note of hope. Let's not take it away.

Who knows what they plan to show in the show. At this point of time I am not even sure these issues will be discussed. For all you know, they would get brushed under the carpet. 😕
