An Awesome Part

GKB instigated Ishwari against Sonakshi yet today stands proudly and proclaims that parents should be happy with their children's choice oh that was indeed a dagger aimed at Ishwari as she was never happy with her son's choice
Ishwari always felt it was Sonakshi pulling Dev away but she never not once realized her role play in their lives she never not once had placed herself in Sonakshi's shoes so it was always easy to pass the blame onto Sonakshi
today Ishwari realizes her fault she realizes as a mother how she destroyed her son's happiness all because she felt insecure yet there was her devoted son that never gave her any sign to feel insecure he always did everything just for her happiness but she over looked that too

@fanktik : Thanks to persuasive Geena and Suvi, you gave Ishwari an acceptable closure as well..very nice😳. I can see this very well play out in the series too if they ever want to redeem Ishwari. Now am waiting for the remaining redemption, keep aside Divya vs Suvika war for next chapter and give us Ishu vs Dev confrontation soon 😉 😆.

Your flow is beautiful...a Ishwari who is realizing her misdeeds...I wish this would happen but Ishwari needs to face the consequences not just ask for forgiveness...Her Bhagwan will show her, her karma...

First and foremost... thank you for taking this forward. Writing about Ishwari is beyond me. I would just be too damn mad at her that I wouldn't have been able to be objective. So you deserve a big big and for that.
In the whole of part two - this one sentence caught my eye first.

She was his Bhagwan after all and God never wish ill, do they?

So even though Ishwari never consciously acknowledged it, subconsciously she did start considering herself as Dev's God. And that subconscious thought has come out here. Maa tu mera bhagwaan hain, Dev kept saying. Ishwari, tera beta tujhe poojta hain, mamaji kept saying. She has taken those words quite literally. And truly started believing in them. And like a God, she didn't think she could be wrong. Neither did she feel the need to justify her actions to her bhakt.

And she walked down the next morning with the same attitude. Every time something happened, she shifted the blame from herself. She absolved herself. Because God can't be wrong. So this time too, she was not wrong. Of course not. It was all Sona's fault. (Damn I felt like even while reading this part I tell you!!)

You used GKB perfectly here. She is the only one who can show Ishwari the mirror, even if she does it unknowingly. Dev is not talking. Mamaji is way too gentle with his sister. But GKB does none of those things. Her tongue is vile and sharp but there are no hidden agendas. Yet, despite the vile tongue and sharp words, she has her son, daughter in law and now a grandson with her. She is happy. Greedy, yes. But happy. They are together. Why? Ishwari needed to think on the why. Where was the fault? It was simple. GKB accepted Elena. Ishwari never accepted Sonakshi. That had been the crux of everything.

Even while conversing later on with her brother, she said - Sona was a good girl but I was trying to protect MY family. She excluded Sona in that one single sentence.

And Dev never stood up or tried to stop Ishwari's words or attitude or behaviour. Why? Again she herself had shut his mouth and tied his hands. Her son loved her and she selfishly used that love to her advantage. And she would have been that way with any girl who had the misfortune...yes... misfortune to come into her son's life. She just didn't want her son's attention to move away from her.

Is that a justification for her behaviour? No. Of course not. For some of the things that she'd done, there is NO justification. Just like we can't justify some of the things Dev had said and done. But Ishwari has a psychological problem. She needs therapy and medication to come to terms with it and overcome it. Frankly, I don't see any other way.

And this part is the first step towards that. Her acknowledgement to herself that she did consider herself as Dev's God. Then the acceptance that she was no God but a mere human. Dev has stopped seeing her as his Bhagwaan 7 years ago. Now she has finally stopped seeing HERSELF as his Bhagwaan. Thank God!!

Time frame wise, you have given a day. Very clever of you.

Day one - Dev got out of jail, Dev - Sonakshi conversation in the morning and Dev - Ishwari conversation in the late afternoon / evening.

Day one night - Ishwari's introspection as Dev's God
Day two - conversation with GKB and further introspection, leading to acceptance.
End of day two - Her appeal to Dev that they needed to talk.

Now while this happens here, in parallel, Dev and Sonakshi have a conversation (he had sent her flowers and note. Requested. So I am assuming she won't refuse)

Have you started typing that??

Will read again and comment. 😉

And since length-wise, this is shorter than my part 1, you should write the next part too. Don't you think??

Not fair.. This was your thread. I just pitched in to write Ishwari's part because you refused. And well Geena insisted.. so... 😉

Thank you. I am glad. Ishwari has been a tough nut to crack. Specially with the way she has been currently portrayed.

Thank you. Yes I thought coming from GKB would hit Ishwari hardest as Mamaji would be too easy on her. Only GKB has the option of being as a matter of fact with Ishwari and can be so in your face.

We saw GKB and her doublt standards na. She never really let Ishwari accept Sona but continued to taunt Sona. From the post wedding rituals to letting her be to visitng her family. GKB was always sensitive towards Elena. Ishwari lacked that.
