First of all, Take a bow dear... 👏

I have read something so damn beautiful and perfectly written after a very long time and you have nailed it... 👏👏👏

Each and every action and expression, from Dev's entry in the room and his exit is perfectly analysed and written about... 👏

This has to be the best analysis post on this scene and i want to thank you for sharing such a beautiful write-up here. 🤗

Even i fetl the disconnection and disinterest Dev showed in this scene... But i couldn't have written it the way you have done... Kudos to you for this. 👏

Do write such analysis often. I love to read your write-ups.👏😊

thank u so much guys 🤗 to all of u...
actually this was one scene i was wanting to write this wkend but cudnt find time...the crux of this story is dev and ishwari's relationship and the superficial bond (as i feel) that exists between them is the reason behind so much problems in the otherwise perfect relationship between dev and sona...

so this 7 year leap totally stands on what changes have taken place in the chemistry between these two character...if dev's blind love and devotion remain unchanged then this leap has no meaning at all...

the moment dev swaggered in the room and the camera focused from the back walking toward the temple side of the room i knew the writers hv nailed it...i loved the scene thoroughly and i only wish dev's halfhearted attitude toward mom will remain...

All said n done I have a small doubt..
Yday he was justifying his mother in front of golu that her stories are good with good morals nothing bad in it n the mamma boy also triggered.. I feel he has not changed like what we think...

Wats ur take on it?

Gal u need to take a bow
U have very well detailed the scenes n the inner turmoil of Dev against his once upon a time goddess
His resentment towards God was more coz he considered his mom a goddess.

Indeed Dev is so unfortunate
That Ishwari is the worst kind of mother any child should get
It's more like a curse than a blessing
That he is forced to come home only coz of this useless obligation
Why can't she actually give up n suicide 😆

suicide is quite a strong word but i wish she wud understand how much harmful her possessive and selfish nature is for dev...she is a mother after all and so i wish she will realize her flaws and pave the way for a happy and blissful life for her son...

how come u r asking the same thing i hv been asked by several of my frnds who hv read my post lol...

ok i will gv the same reply to all of u...

i want to mention one scene of trishul (amitabh, sanjeev kumar)...
amitabh was illegitimate son of sanjeev who abandoned his mom waheeda rehman only to get married to a rich man's daughter...

years later amitabh comes to mumbai to take revenge on his dad...he builds a business empire bigger than his dad and uses deceitful ways to take away all the contracts that sanjeev's company wud hv got...amitabh bribes one of sanjeev's important employees to steal quotations...

sanjeev had another business rival who was prem chopra...one day prem chopra came up to amitabh thinking sanjeev kumar is their common enemy...so he badmouthed sanjeev in front of amitabh and wanted to make schemes by joining hands with amitabh...

but amitabh gv him a tight slap and told him to go away and even warned him to stay away from sanjeev kumar...rakhi was present in the scene and she was not aware that amitabh is sanjeev's son...she asked one important question to amitabh that y did he insult prem chopra since he was doing nothing other than badmouthing his enemy...

that time amitabh revealed to rakhi his relationship with sanjeev kumar and said that his enmity with sanjeev is in its own place but he will never let anyone else take advantage of it...

same hapnd here...dev may hv bitter feelings towards his ma today but she is his mother after all...his problems with his ma r his own and he wont let anyone else cash in on his bitter feelings...he will behave badly with his mom that is his equation with ishwari because she has failed as a mother...but that doesnt mean everyone else will behave in the same manner...ishwari may hv failed as a mother but she may hv been a gud grandmother to gollu...

just like amitabh did not allow prem chopra to take advantage of his enmity with his dad similarly dev wont allow anyone else take advantage of his detachment with his mom...

a very simple explanation but turned out to be a long post 😆

my problem i cant put my feelings in few words...extremely sorry for that...

If I am not wrong then some time back in one of your similar kind of post I have shared one line with you in our conversation that Ishwari is the most luckiest person on this earth to have a son like Dev but Dev is the most unluckiest person on this earth to have a mother like Ishwari. Nothing got changed wrt our views from that day to till today dear. Keep writing more.😊

yes i remember and yes our views hvnt changed...ishwari is so engrossed in her own created world that she refuses to believe that her son can hv a life beyond that and fears that his son will abandon her once he starts his own life...

serves her rite...she always tried to tie him to her palloo for the fear of losing her and today she has actually lost him...she thot another woman in his life will make him forget her but dev remained devoted to his mom as always wen sona was in his life but ishwari has lost him now wen he doesnt hv any another woman in his life...

I was wondering why haven't you written anything as yet and wow I logged on and see your post

You absolutely right Dev's relation with Ishwari has changed he knows that he is only there as a provider and that's how the falsehood or his family members see him .
Dev was very polite with his mother , but now the essence of their relation has been lost now he knows exactly why his mother could not see him happy in his marriage
before Sona entered his life he was a loner and today yet again he is a loner only now he carries the burden of a broken heart

yes dev has been very polite to his mom in spite of his swaggering attitude...i feel he will never gv ishwari or anyone else in his family any reason to point one accusing finger at him that he has shifted from his responsibilities even though outwardly he leads a wayward life...
