I want to get the reason why Sona should have trusted Dev 7 years ago?

I have the reasons for her not trusting him...

1 he brokeup with her for his mother

2 he came back to her only when his mother agreed

3 he told her lie that he is not mammas boy

4 he told her lie about pregnancy

5 he just stopped calling his MIL Mom to make his mother happy

6 he slapped her father

7 he never said anything against his family...

8 he made her agree for treatment just to fulfil childish wish of his mother

9 he was all ok with his mother managing their sex life at their honeymoon

Any time when he proved to sona that he would go against his family or his mom to gain her selfrespect?

And the time she did it by returning the money...he told her to get out..

Any reason why sona should have trusted dev 7 years ago..is what i want to know..!!!!!

There is no reason ..

Except for daily soap logic of she loved him so she should trust him which should not happen here

Yet people on twitter are so busy defending his character and majorly helding sona responsible for their breakup..his character just irritates me to the core..why would any girl on earth trust this guy ? like why ?

Not a single time has this man stood for his wife...SPINELESS as rightly said by sona !!

@natasha: I fully agree with the reasoning on this topic and the comments of Minoz above. As far as the opinion and the liking for Dev despite his spinless character - it has to do with human psychology. especially female towards male. Its the personality and looks of Dev which is the driving force. If Dev was not handsome, smart and hot but just a next door boy - majority opinion would've been different.

1. His continuous lies and fake promises to Sona.

2. His way of getting what he want, like Ritwick's loan cancellation, Ranveer's job even Sona's job initially etc.

Even at last day of their breakup also, Sona asusual believed the words of Dev, how she used to believe his lies and fake promises.

He himself only accepted that he only thrown out her family from their house, followed by all his harsh words. She didn't believe either Ishwari or Dev but went to meet him directly face to face and confirmed the things.

Why would Sona trust him at that time

she and her family was thrown out their house

love is not the only pillar that holds a relation there is many other pillars that keep that relation working and in Sona's case Dev might have loved her but there was nothing else there so why would any girl want to foolishly trust when she knows her trust has been broken many times

Please add some -

He has manipulated her to get her accept the job for his mother.
He has manipulated Rithwik when he didnt like Rithwik.
He has thrown Ranveer out of his job when he was 'angry' with him.

About Sona believing Pre-Nup signature of Dev, Dev as usual told Bijoy not to inform Sona about that earlier - again this hiding deceit and lies fell flat on his face. Always so protective about his and his mommy's image has landed him nowhere !

And he couldn't even say that he didn't want her family to be kicked of their house, or that he didn't create the prenup. So what was Sona meant to think.

Sona also knows that Dev can go to any extent to get what he wants, look how he treated Rithwik.
