My Take on Casanova

Based on the promo, I don't think Dev will be a Casanova in Season 2 because of the following reasons -

1. He has been brought up responsibly with Good discipline, Ethics, and Morals by Ishwari. He would never do anything which would hurt his mom because he loves, respects, and values her very much.

2. Dev is a strongly rooted Character who respects Women because he was in a raised in a Family of Sisters and who has always been a protective Brother/Son/Boyfriend/Husbad. For example, when Vicky tried to misbehave with Ellena during Dev and Sona's Marriage, Dev slapped Vicky for doing so.

He shouted Sona at fit of anger, they both have egos, might have argued, and separated etc. But, it doesn't mean he does not love her and she does not love him because they are filled in each others Mind, Body, and Soul. She has always been in his thoughts, and he is always been in her thoughts no matter what the circumstances might be. He could have separated from her at the fit of moment and there might be egos,but it doesn't mean that he will go and enjoy with other girls and have relationships with other Women because these are just against his ethics. Here, the Environment in which he was raised in wouldn't allow him to get changed so easily because of the deeply rooted values, ethics, and morals.

4. As all know Dev is really Handsome and Smart Businessman where all Girls might get attracted to and fall for, but does not mean he should go behind them.He is only for Sona, his sweetheart and his life.

5.Whatever has been shown in the Promo should not be taken at Face Value regarding Dev's Casanova image.

They could have killed Dev rather than turning him to Cassanova. Women can fall for Cassanova and build a love story once he becomes one woman man. Cheating and infedility can break a functional loving marraige. How can someone reconcile with a Cassanova.

Faking or not...what we saw was a Casanova...and its true...how/why etc doesnt matter...To be honest I really dont want Sona to reconcile this time...I just want them to stay good friends for life time...and as parents to the child they can take equal responsibility .

I really dont want her to fall for him again at no cost because if she does she might loose her business to Vicky and gang...then she and her child will be thrown on the road. If she is a smart lady then she will never and should never get back to a man who couldnt stand by her not once but TWICE...SHE WAS THROWN OUT TWICE FROM HIS LIFE FOR THE SAKE OF HIS FAMILY. SHE LOST EVERYTHING IN HER LIFE INCLUDING PEOPLE AND MONEY.

This PH allowed EVIL to WIN AGAINST LOVE ,HONESTY, RESPECT AND TRUST.

They allowed people like Vicky , GKB , Neha and Ishwari to win. Which also means they dont care about the values that our society has taught us from good old days. So its quiet natural this PH can show Dev as a Casanova inspite of the promise he gave her ...that he will not even think of any other woman . So I have no hope in the coming tracks too..I am just watching it because of Shaheer and Erica. Again If I dont find it interesting/logical after 2-3 episodes I am not going to watch it anymore. No more emotions attached this season.

PS : I know I fell for the promo...I know its beautiful and shot very well...which is also another factor for me to watch...but after some thought I am not going to fall for the promo they way I did last time.

So makers should think twice before charting character of Dev Dixit this time as now a kid is involved. Makers should spare a thought to potential implication on that child. I for me character is non negotiable. I can forgive anything per the needs but not compromise on character. No one can become Cassanova for revenge,punishment or anything other than his desire to become one.

They say fake it till u get it when learning an accent , so in the span of 7 years even if Dev Dixit was faking it he actually has become a Cassanova.
