I don't even have any desire left for Dev's redemption. I just want Sonakshi to divorce him and live happily with her child. Marry again also.
Dev can be shown a frustrated drunk. They can end the show with a contrasting image of Sona's house full of love, colour and happiness and Dixit house dark and dreary like a morgue with Ishwari and Dev sitting together

Agreed. You know what would be just punishment for Dixits? I wish they come back to the place they belong - gutter or as Ishwari called it barsaati naala. Phir se bheekh maangne ka situations mein aa jayenge to saari akad nikal jayegi...

We sit in our ideal worlds and preach but in reality this is what happens DIL always forgives MIL and husband. True LUBH is what Sona and DEV SHARE and Sona has to forgive Dev for the accidental slap because Dev is pure as gold and to top it Asha the ideal mother will advise her daughter to do so ..because things like this happen in real world and we sit in our ideal world... and preach negativity..😆..You get the drift so stop being NEGATIVE and spread good vibes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😉

I don't think now a days Dils forgive their in laws if such thing happens. In reality many girls the first opportunity they get opt to set up a separate house. As daughters their want to take care of their parents, feel proud when their husband help their family but when the same husband does something for his family they start resenting. It is a sad but hard fact. Mother in laws torturing daughter in laws is a reality but on declining slope but daughter in laws torturing their in laws is increasing. Many misuse the laws in their favour too. From this serial only if one sees the attitude of Bijoy he wanted his daughter marriage as per his wish and was not willing to even take into consideration of the groom side wishes. Wouldn't the boys family also have some desires infact he didn't even consider that the boys side being vegetarians he should have a separate veg.section but why blame him as it was dev's fault that he didn't consider his own family as at that time he was more interested in pleasing his in laws and same was case of Sona. I agree that Ishawari maybe obnoxious, insecure, jealous but it was dv with his actions fuelled her insecurities and also let Bijoy have a condescending attitude toward his mother , similarly by not being open to his mother nor to his wife he had let the situation reach to this stage.

1. Are they going to show from now onward that Sona decides enough is enough and regroup and start her life all over with NO DIXITS? ?
2. Is Dev going to introspect that he made a mess of his married life because of his mother and his acts and decide that marriage is not for him?

If that is the ending of this serial I would call it path breaking TV if not this is just regressive show which tries to don a reality Hat.
I just read a post that makers are trying to impart social lessons thru this show..this is my first Indian Show are they?

I have been wishing for both 1 and 2 to happen for the longest time. This would seriously be revolutionary TV and something sorely needed in the regressive, repetitive world of Indian TV.

Exactly what I thought. It was repulsive. Some good sex and time alone with her husband and Sona suddenly wants to run back to Delhi to hug Ma who has been the source of all her distress and misery the entire Shimla trip🤢

These people deserve each other. Either they are spineless or personality-less or lying controlling manipulators.

Tomo when Dev is going to say 'Oops I didn't do it intentionally', it's gonna fall right on his face.

He hid things from his wife - not intentionally.
He broke up with Sona for mommy without trying 0.00001% to fight for his love - not intentionally.
He made a happy dance seeing the swing's out of his room - not intentionally.
He lied about pregnancy - not intentionally.
He stalked - not intentionally.
He ignored Sona's all wise advises to keep falling more in the dark pitch - not intentionally.
He celebrated his bday with family and didn't even bother to check for his wife's safety, stood her up - not intentionally.
He lied to Sona about folding hanky - not intentionally.

Now he has slapped his FIL - not intentionally.

This guy has a seriously fabulous 'being-a-jackass' track record than Kohli's entire career so far. 😃😆

They had to show the utmost 'hot' romance of the series in tonight's episode. Otherwise a handful of people would have watched the slapgate episode.

Hi friends
I usually dont respond on this thread because I feel you all are very critical and negative and secondly I am not so good with words as you all obviously are... i really mean the second one as a compliment - but since in real life i believe in "its ok to agree to disagree" i wanted to put only one point in connection with the discussion going on in this thread...

Sona, as we were all expected to believe, has been brought up by Bijoy to be independent, strong and correct. She is also an educated person and not an illiterate from a village or a small town.

What stops her from protesting against Dev. I probably would not have married Dev in a hurry like she did. I am not sure how much she loves Dev actually or does she treat Dev and Ishwari as a challenge (remember her father has brought her up to always win at any cost) so she is trying her best to win this challenge. Its almost like "How can you not like me?" If you ask me the first time when IShwari threw the plate of samosas away - sona gave in and came back to work when Dev waited for her fir hours at the cafe.

I think its the competitive streak in her thats not allowing her to accept defeat.

I am not in anyway justifying what Dev has done. What he has done is unpardonable in my view. I also believe that after seeing the precap, Sona is not done with Dev yet on this matter and hence the use of the word "filhaal". Dev also knows it very well. If Dev used sex to quieten Sona's anger, i am sure that its not the first time he has done it. Why is she keeping quiet. I have been brought up to believe that I should be willing to fight my own battles - i never expect anyone else (including my father or husband) to stand up for me. I know that my father and my husband (and also my dad in law) would always be with me whatever be the scenario.

Sorry for the long rant...
