Watched the episode..read your post as well..immediately after the episode..Sometimes things or events drain you so much that you are muted temporarily..I couldn't write anything ..or think straight..Took a day and then came back..
I totally agree with all of you..Sona has been cheated not just once, twice..everytime when there is a difficult situation. We all hope Dev will stand up or do something..but no..Now Sona has also joined the maa ka mind nahi tootna and to please her..To be honest, am just asking..what is so special that Ishwari has done which anyone hasn't.. Infact did the worst, being partial to a certain child.

The infertility track I thought would be handled maturely and will give a boost to all the women out there who feel depressed and take it as a shame on them. I wanted this track to send a powerful message that its not anyone's fault and how to handlle family and proceed. But no..

I watched yesterdays episode after so many days...but then..just left me disappointed.

I seriously want Bijoy to ask Dev to give Sona a divorce as he is incapable of performing the duties of a husband.
Sona will herself not ask for the same as she is suffering from Ishwaritis - a disease gifted by Dev by systematically breaking her self confidence and making her feel that her marriage survives not because of love, not because of her as a person but because of Ishwari's goodwill.

Only the fear of losing Sona for ever can bring some sense into this character. Never have I ever seen such a disgusting character - instead of consoling his wife is busy pacifying mummy and appeasing her. A thoroughly vomit inducing creature🤢

Absolutely. Ishwari is a failure as a parent (both the kids she raised have psychological issues. One a pathological lier, the other insecure. Both incapable of living a normal healthy life independently.)

She is a failure as a mother-in-law who could not see what a gem she had in her daughter-in-law because she was busy playing kitchen politics.

Yet Dev and Sona bend over backwards to please her. Even the heartbreak of infertility is only relevant for Sona because Ishwari wants grandkids. If she didn't want grandkids, then Sona won't care whether she is infertile or not.

Are you kidding me, CVs? Like you I am utterly disgusted with how this track has been handled.

I know, right? Even Vicky and Elena have a much better and normal life than Dev and Sona. They live their own life and doesn't let anyone come between them. I hate to see this. But Vicky has the guts to stand up against what he thinks is wrong even if it's from his biggest supporter and ego-booster - his mother.

Agreed 100%. In fact, that's what I have been saying since the beginning that if Dev could not get over his 24/7 job of Mummy devotion, he should not have married Sona in the first place. Mamma's boys should not get married because they are incapable of living the life of an independent adult.

Sonakshi's brain has gone down God knows what Twilight zone where even her own infertility is less devastating than Ishwari being upset. I just can't take this anymore.

I doubt Dev will ever get any sense back. Last time he learned nothing even after almost losing Sona to another, much better guy. I doubt even this time he will know better.

I have been reading varied thoughts on this track. Some supporting Dev for his actions, and Sona for being so understanding of Dev and some like me absolutely appalled at this track.

I know this story was/is about an insecure mother and how the two adults deal with that but here I dont see the two adults dealing with it in a progressive or a Positive way. Dev Dixit growth in character in fact has regressed pulling Sona along with him into the deep pits. So Sona is going along with this because she loves Dev? What kind of Love is this where one hurts and the other one always forgives?. It almost seems like Stockholm syndrome to me and I am not just saying it I have volunteered at battered woman's shelter and seen it in real life . And now bringing infertility and Sona wanting to get pregnant for Easwari's sake is not only morally incorrect for me but also saddens me as a mother a wife and a woman.

Maybe it is just Me who is unable to see what some others see as a beautiful storyline ... .but again I really dont think I want to see this as reality too...

Sorry for a rambling Post Tia

Agreed completely with you Sabita. It's appalling in how much the main leads have regressed in mentality since the beginning of the show.

Dev Dixit was portrayed as a hard-working but fair and honourable man. Now he is a pathological lier.

Sonakshi Bose was portrayed as independent, strong and educated woman who doesn't give a hoot about what other people think about her. She is now a broken down, no self-respect shell of a woman whose only aim in life is to supply baby for mom-in-law to be in her good books.

Ishwari was an insecure mother who was still loving. But she is now a dictator who uses tears, love and emotional blackmail to keep her pawns in line.

I can't recognise any of the characters from the initial promo with current episodes.
