Wish CVs would give more clarity on Sonas mind, coz some of her dialogues dont make any sense, and Im speaking as a woman more than as a viewwer.

Both dialogues were from the dream sequance.

1.Mere liye aapko khush karna is very important, something along that lines.
2.Hamara infamous bond(Sona_ish) i utmost important to me.

I mean seriously what are the CVS trying to convey.

a.Obsessive suffocating love is so important an addictive that an educated and well brought up girl like Sona is becoming desperate for it.

b.Has Ishwari become so important for Sona that her won parents pain is nothing for her in fromt of Ishwaris jhoota happiness.

The only thin starw Im trying to hold on to here is that, mayb Subconsciously Sona knows how important Ish is to Dev,so to make her own marriage happy, she is trying to make Ish happy.

In my opinion that is the reason Sonakshi is bending backwards to make and keep ishwari happy. However, she is still wanting to have the baby for the wrong reasons. Making grandparents happy can be one of the reason, but cant be the only reason to have a baby. She isnt ready to be a mother if this is how sonakshi thinks

I hope CVs show some logic behind Sonas need to make Ish happy. It will be more mature and realistic TV.

No girl no matter how big hearted she is will be this desperate for the love of a woman like Ishwari.

Thats the reason I constantly say Sona is coming out as dumb in lot of places.

Yes.I understand Dev's love,Ish's insecurities,Dev's desperate need to lie all of that.

But i simply dont understand why one woman's obsessive conditional selfseeking love has become so tantamount over all the selfless and healthy relationships in the show.

I can even empathize with Neha.Ish has never been fair to her.But They wll never justify Neha.

Come on this is Indian Tv,and Ish is lead, they dont have the guts to show her as grey.

I hope supriyaji has the heart to let the creatives take that liberty.coz she is the most poignant, strongest and well written character of the show.

Me too. There is so much they can do with Ishwari's character rather than just keeping it as the focal point and going round in circles.

I prefer her anyday to Sona who seriosly lacks depth and is behaving like a typical Serial bahu.

Sheesh,so much for woman empowerment.

Oh hello! There you are. I was wondering where you posted :)

Dev isn't trying to use Sona for Ishwari's happiness; if you think that, you are oversimplifying and missing the complexity of the situation. This is much bigger than either his relationship with Sona or his relationship with Ishwari... it's about control and his relationship with god. As I wrote in my last post, Dev sees god as his enemy, an entity who is constantly at odds with him and his family's happiness, so he is trying to fight against that "enemy" and regain control of his and his family's happiness. Instead of accepting the truth and moving from there, Dev is fighting it, in the full belief that he can win.

Dev definitely isnt using Sonakshi here. If anything its more for Sonakshi's happiness (ie his mother loving his wife) than Ishwari's. I dont know how many of you noticed, yesterday when Ishwari had a low BP he wasnt that worried like he used to do in previous times - including during break up.

The God sub-track is clearly playing a role here. Dev, like you said is in control of his life and the happiness of his lived ones.

There are only two times when Dev completely lost control of his own life: once during the break-up, and then when he found out about Sona's condition, and how unlikely it was that she could conceive. During the break-up, he made the mistake of thinking he could be in control even without Sona in his life, and he learned his lesson the hard way (in his proposal: Dev never bows before anything but love brought him to his knees).

Yes, he knows he cant live without her and lives in a vegetative state when she isnt even around her let alone leave her and go. I am so scared for them both now.

With the possibility that Sona can't conceive, Dev knows that he is once agian going against his mother's happiness to be with Sona, but he knows that living without Sona is also not an option. On top of this, he is afraid that Sona will leave him once she knows she can't conceive. The news of the baby created a virtual reality that was very appealing to Dev, so he played god, took advantage of the faith that Sona and Ishwari had in him, went against the actual god (or nature, or whatever you believe in) and made the baby real for them. On top of that, he tried everything he could to actually make the baby real without their knowledge.

Here's the thing, We cant think like Dev. Because we arent Dev. Only Dev can think like Dev. He tried doing all the things that the couple could have done to have the baby. It saddens me that he is so emotionally caught up in all this that he has thrown all sense out of the window. He has given up. Instead of working with his wife to find a solution he tells her she can never become a mother. I am desperate to see them seek treatment. chori-chori-chupke-chupke style surrogacy or a divorce will make no sense but if Ishwari continues to remain the center of this show, we will end up there

His plan was always to reveal the truth eventually, but in a vague, imagined moment in the future when he could control how people reacted to the news. When Sona found out on her own, she took that control away from him but he feels like he still has it with Ishwari... he still thinks he has the power to make or break her happiness so he wants to stall the revelation until that "perfect moment." Those of us who don't have Dev's delusions of grandeur can make out that there is no such thing as a "perfect moment" for revealing that you have deceived your loved ones deeply and played with their feelings, but Dev is yet to come to that realisation. Like a classic tragic hero, he is facilitating the outcome he dreads by trying so hard to fight it -- it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. He did all of this to ensure that Sona remained in his life, and Ishwari was happy about it but in the end, his own actions are what threaten to alienate both women from him... and if their relationships with him are jeopardised, then what meaning does their relationship with each other hold?

He is prepared to let Sona-Ish become more important to each other than he is to them. Fair enough. Trouble is Ishwari's love wasnt selfless. Or may be we are wrong and we shall see
