Oh & BTW... totally unrelated, but did anyone watch the pilot of the show - Designated Survivor - *ing Kiefer Sutherland? It was telecast on ABC. I seem to prefer watching action thrillers rather than heaps of cooked up lie laden show. I hear that the show was being shot in Canada! It also features Kal Penn from Harold & Kumar, How I met your mother - who's also been working in the O'bama administration. Splendid show, I'd highly recommend, to be continued in March again.

I know, right? All your questions are valid. To answer them, here's a question I have. If all these lies were told for Sona's happiness and now Sona knows the truth, then why is Dev continuing the lies?

Why not tell the truth now since Sona knows the truth anyway? This makes me think regardless of his claims, it was always about Ishwari. He started the lies because of Ishwari and that's why he wants to continue them and wanted to do fertility treatment of Sona behind her back.

Had all these been for Sona, he could have spoke the truth to her and supported her in whatever decision she took about having a baby through alternate means, trying fertility treatment or remain childless. But it was never about her. It was always about Ishwari for Dev.

Oh is it so ? So Dev would pull Sona into being his lying partner eh ?? Sona Sona Sona - how dumb is that 😆.

And Dev, I am confused, I saw today's episode and I was like now everyone would know about it, but seems no ? So what does Dev think now ? He got such bad confrontation from another set of parents and Sonakshi for this lie. So now he is suggesting Sona to lie to Ishwari about it and later dreaming of Sonakshi escaping from the confrontation ?? Or he just wants Sonakshi to be his partner-in-crime so that the punishment is distributed and he doesn't have to bear the burnt alone ?? I am really confused here !! What is Dev's plan ? That Ishwari would throw both of them out of the house so that they both can kick-start a fresh and healthy life outside ? If so, then good, else what's the point ? I dont understand such sharp brain of Dev Dixit. 😳

Let me see the spoilers, I just got happy about the episode today. But about truth, I just want to say 1 thing, honesty and truth grows respect - respect without which 2 people cannot stay married forever, an aspect which is sometimes more important than love. Love doesn't grow respect. Lies NEVER grows respect. Without honesty between each other, 2 people cannot go very long in the course of life, be it spouses, parents-children, friends, family - for everyone. Lies has no long-term positive impact to ANY sort of relationship. I hope Dev and Ishwari realize this soon, they are BUNCH of liars.

Thanks Rithu. But I honestly have lost my desire to continue making daily posts. I don't want to make any more daily posts next year. This week is my last daily posts. I just don't relate anymore with any of the characters or the story.

Completely agree with @gemini54 on No comments about the show. Like many of here, feeling detached from the show.
But, i must say you have great patience(which I lost almost beginning of this track itself) to read updates about episode, analyze it and making such nice posts on it. 👏

Happy New Year... 😊

Thanks Neela. I am on the same boat as you. I have lost the desire to even read the written updates anymore. So this week is my last daily updates which ends on Dec 30. I watched Dangal on Christmas Eve. What a difference a tight screenplay makes to even unknown actors... Mind blowing movie. So do not miss that movie. Wishing all of you a very happy new year and a successful 2017.

Happy Holidays Tia and Beautiful ladies on the forum. And if I don't see you all before the new year, best wishes for a bright 2017!!

I have long stopped relating to the show, something that I did not sign up for. I don't even read updates. Certainly feel bad for the actors who don't have any alternative but to keep the show running.

But when I get some time, I can't avoid the temptation of reading your beautiful posts Tia. So very real 👍🏼, certainly appreciate your patience.

Thanks Tia. Am planning to watch it tomorrow 😊. And yeah, good decision you made. It's hard to stay sane and keep making posts for something you can't stand for. Was sure a pleasure interacting with you here 😊

One dialogue from episode 3: May be it's easier to lie to the world than be honest to yourself!! I so remembered Dev Dixit when I heard that!

It's quite commendable to see some videos on YT to see the kinda arrangements that are made in the US to ensure the safety of the "designated survivor" in case the entire cabinet gets wiped out. The 1st 10 episodes are quite fast paced and you can watch very good quality videos here if you want to give a try: I had loved all the seasons of 24, and recently re-watched all of them 😳

Hi Tia
I guess I am the only one who is not blaming Sona. Her husband has lied to her and she is in tremendous pain because of it.

But she is not a fool and can see that there is some valid reason behind it. She could also see that her husband is almost on the verge of a breakdown. So she does what any sensible partner would do. Give some time to your husband to come clean about the reasons for his weird behaviour. She knows that Dev is not demented to tell such a tale just for sadistic fun.

She is not responsible for the cheap plans of GKB nor the fact that due to severe tension the reports again got left in the car.

Regarding Dev, I would have applauded him if and only if his actions were not spurred out of sheer cowardice. The guy knows his God mother inside out and knows what she is going to ask him to do once the truth comes out. He has only being trying to avoid that instead of mustering the courage to stand for his wife.

What he doesn't realise is that unpleasant tasks have to be faced head on. such silly delays and wishful thinking only aggravate the situation.

But yes did love the fact that in spite of bijoys marked misbehavior with him today he didn't tell the truth. This he did only and only for Sonakshi.

Well said..Lies are lies and they will come out eventually..When it does, it has lot of potential to blame anyone depending on situation and the intensity of the lie..
While Dev was trying to hold Sona and trying really hard to console her..One sentence touched me.."I feel like a stranger is holding me"..Because the person who knows (forget likes/loves) Sona the most would never do that to her. She has the heart of gold and any person wouldnt want her to go through it..

The flashback scenes were so tearful..

I will wait for the truth to be heard from Sona in the way she exactly imagined. "I am doing the favour of telling you the truth unlike your son who kept you in the dark"

Thats sooo true...!!!!

Anyways dont have any hopes from cvs over this track...
