U are not alone asha di...I've also vested my heart and soul into this show...I've never been such a crazy fan of any show...I'm just in awe of Devakshi and krpkab😳😳...it just has such a strong impact on me...that my mood depends on the episodes...whenever we have gud episode I'm happy and whenever there is a bad episode I become very cranky...I don't know if it is right to be so much involoved in a fiction show ...but I've totally lost myself to this show❤️❤️...I get scared by the thought of it going off-air...Sry...I used ur post to write such things...but I couldn't control my feelings for this show and hence posted it here...😳😳..

Hi SonaI dont mind at all... my husband finds it amusing as to how can a forty year old woman invest so much emotionally in a serial. But then thats how it is😛Thats why i feel happy coming to the forum... i find like minded persons here. Actually i thing Shaheer and Erica have brought the characters of Dev and Sona alive and thats the reason we feel what they feel - happy, sad, frustrated everything... they have made us feel that we know them personally:)Cheers
RAINBOWS AT THE END OF A DARK NIGHT
Chapter 2
Before Dev and Sonakshi could react, Dr. Sinha came up from behind and slapped him on the back and said "Hi Dev. Good to see you. Did you meet Dr. Bose? You do remember her isn't it? She was your mother's nutritionist for a three months so many years back in Delhi." Probably for the first time in his life Dev couldn't find the right words and he said "Yes of course I remember Dr. Bose. How are you Dr. Bose?" Sonakshi smiled and said "I am fine Mr. Dixit. How are you?"
Dr. Sinha then took Sona away to meet some more persons and Dev just stood rock still when she suddenly turned around and gave him a small smile. Dev was stunned to say the least. He just sat down on one of the chairs nearby and let his heartbeats become normal before he stood up again and looked around. He saw her talking to a group of men including Dr. Sinha. She was explaining something enthusiastically. Suddenly, there was an announcement and she excused herself and went to a small dais that had been set up. She gave one of her dazzling smiles and said "Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen. At the very onset, I would like to profusely thank all of you for taking time out for this event on a Sunday evening!" When Dev saw her, he realized that something had changed about Sona, his Sona (one part of his heart told him that he was wrong in thinking of her as "his" Sona but for now he just ignored it). He couldn't think further as she continued her speech. She said "Before we begin the evening, I on behalf of my entire team of dedicated medical professional and volunteers like to thank you for your generous donations and contributions that have made Asha Deep such a success. We hope that you would continue to help us. We would like to take you through some of the successes we have had this year with our projects on providing medical care for street and underprivileged children." She went on to talk about the projects undertaken by the NGO in the last year for about forty five minutes and he noted that she never once consulted the notes she had on hand. She was impressive and it was obvious that she was very very passionate about the cause. The speech ended and there was a round of thunderous applause and she stepped down. There were many persons who came forward to speak to her and she was answering all questions patiently. Dev noted that there were two young boys who were walking with her. When there was something she was unable to answer, one of the boys would note it down. He was really very impressed with her. But he noted again that in addition to looking more beautiful than she did earlier, there was something very different about her personality. She had been much more outgoing and gregarious. Now she appeared much more reserved and stern.
Dr. Sinha who had been standing next to Dev said quietly "She seems so different now isn't it? Dev just nodded his head. Dr. Sinha continued "This NGO is very close to her heart. She is a famous nutritionist in one of the leading hospitals in South Mumbai - Breach Candy Hospital. In addition she spends a lot of time for this NGO. She set it up five years back when Ritwik, her husband you know, passed away in a road accident". Dev couldn't comprehend what he heard - Ritwik was no more. He felt guilty, really very guilty as he had been a little jealous of Ritwik all these years.
Someone came up and spoke to Dr. Sinha and Dr. Sinha changed the topic and introduced Dev to the person and all of them made some small talk. Dev could'nt concentrate on the conversation even after trying several times and pretending that he had to make an important phone call he excused himself. He found the way to the nearest balcony from where he could see the Gateway of India and the Arabian sea. He gulped in the fresh air and tried to clear the cloud in his head when his attention was diverted with a conversation at the other end of the balcony "Yes beta mamma will be home soon. Now you just listen to Dadu(*) and drink your milk. I know beta that today is Sunday and I read to you every Sunday night. I promise I will do that tomorrow for you. Now you listen to Dadu and go to bed." It was Sona of course. She disconnected the call and taking a deep breath she held the phone to her heart and turned around only to find Dev staring at her intently.
