...is following in the time-honoured tradition of Indian Tv bahus - single-handedly solving any and every mystery. "Mujhe hi kuch karna padega". They will have no rest till they solve it. I'm willing to place a bet that this Ayan issue was on Sona's mind all the while she and Dev were having sex. Finally they show some tiny bit of romance between the world's most sanskaari couple but in the brief break when Dev is in the bathroom, Sona has to stand at the window spying on Ayan. If I were her, I would just let go and leave this to the Dixits. She has warned them of whatever she saw at the cafe and voiced her suspicions. If they insist on going ahead with this alliance merely because Ayan's family is well known and well respected, not to mention Ishwari the great has personally vetted the family, then let them. There's only so much one can do. Sona, focus on your life with your extremely hot husband for a change 😊
Looks like CVs heard all the complaints on this forum about knocks at the door interrupting Dev-Sona romance and decided to get a little creative. Hence the emergency bathroom break. Was wondering what the point of it was till I realised the break was for detective Sona to continue with Mission Expose Ayan.

Ayan was standing 2 feet away from Riya mouthing sweet nothings into the phone and kissing it but Riya saw or heard nothing?? The CVs must really think we are one stupid bunch of people.

Supriya Pilgaonkar's protestations against the demonising of her character have definitely hit the mark. Ishwari has gone from being Chief villain to mild-mannered and sweetly smiling in a matter of episodes. Characterisation be damned. The CVs swing wildly from one extreme to the other depending on audience feedback and actors' preferences.

Suddenly, things that would have been unacceptable if they had been done by Sona are being shown as comedy scenes in the case of Elena (new bride sleeping till 11am, not knowing how to cook, not cooking first meal as bahu of the house ). Ishwari wears a mildly amused look when Elena says she can't cook but Sona's first time cooking as new bahu was such a huge tamasha.
Now, Elena is added to the long list of people who relax at the table while Sona stands and serves them. This practice of women standing and serving enrages me. Everyone should simply sit at the table and help themselves. Why has this servile role been given to women??

Btw, its 11am and Sona is still at home? Flexi times at her new job perhaps? Elena also going to stay at home decked up in traditional clothes with sindoor and mangalsutra? No more college or western wear? Again, great message going out to young girls. Elope, marry a good for nothing, then sit at home in the lap of luxury (if you're lucky like Elena), dress up and sit around doing nothing. 👏 How many more idle mouths are Dev and Sona going to have to feed??

Dev Sona romance - ok I must admit Dev looked hot and also looked passionate instead of brotherly, for a change. He actually looked like all he wanted to do was get her into bed. Sona, on the other hand, still reacting in a very unaffected, passionless way. I think the actress is simply unable to portray these feelings. She never ever looks like she's caught up in the moment.

I found the back lift extremely awkward and stiff. How do they come up with all these funny, contorted movements? Why not show a close passionate hug and a kiss? Will the indian audience die of shock if a kiss is shown? I wish someone would do it. How did we get to be a population of 1 billion and counting? Such hypocrisy.

Showing a hickey on the male lead is certainly a first for Indian tv. At least I haven't see this being shown on any other TV show.

Ok, rant over (for now 😃)

Sona needs to focus on her husband and hire a detective to do his job. If she had talent for spying, she'd have been a detective, not a doctor. Woh kehte hain naa, jiska kaam ussi ko saaje aur kare to thenga baaje?
Thenga bas bajne hi wala hain aur saath mein Sona ki bhi...
