Just loved today's episode didn't you?? ...and for many reason.
On a serous note how absolutely beautifully they showed contrast BTW two couples. I mean it felt I was in a time warp where a couple had been in the same situation the new couple are in now. But the chose radically different paths. In fact, when we were seeing this from devakshi point of view didn't we feel so many times the dev should talk back or understanding his mother's manipulation fight with her and bring sona into his life. But today when Vicky talked back and threatened to leave them...it sounded crass, and definitely not a good move. Not that dev would ever do that. But just think then dev leaving sona for mom was wrong and now if Vicky leaves mom for Elena that will also be wrong.
Look at it from parents side. Both ishwari and GKB had no clue until their sons told them. The former didn't accept and budged not even an inch even if then they were just dating . But GKB accepted even when they got married. That time we were furious at ishwari for not accepting son's choice, and now at least I am angry at GKB for accepting so easily.
So basically, by showing would be choices and contrasts... The CVS have confused us as two who is or was right or wrong or what should actually be done in such a situation.
Only a middle path can be taken where you leave hurt betray no one but at the same time stand up for your decision (though not like Vicky did.. That's not one with a spine) while parents should accept the genuine decisions of children or try to understand them. Because their can't be a right and wrong for all... Both ishwari and GKB for whatever reasons have felt their son's decision as wrong.
This is what I loved. Today they truly showed all in grey, without showing one couple as good and angels and showing the other as evil and bad.
If they bring such brilliant contrasts and depths, and hopefully ishwari and GKB ate able to realise something then I am all for it.
Another I am impressed how they are showing this bhag ke shadi track with minimum drama. Nothing looked OTT today even if the situation was apt. Instead it had a very nice and intriguing feel to it. Really well done CVS because I was dreading this track. It may also give added benefit of showing dev how to stand up for wife though he already has started doing that.
On a lighter note we got brilliant devakshi scenes. Hayee sachchi dil khush kar dete hai dono?!...sona caressing his face and he her hair and the hand kiss. Beautiful moment.
Plus the garden scene. These two really become kids and open their hearts out with each other... How cutely they fought and that under the kambal scene. Loooved it!
And precao showed their matured love... Glad at least dev toh realised ki woh ek dusre ko time nahi de parahe hai. And how he was caressing her fingers... I found it so hot and gave me so many feels.
Exited for what he will plan!!
In short another brilliantly thought out and executed episode. No qualms with how they are handling the track except only can the Bose family and sona not be so forgiving yaar. She could have ache so given her a piece of her mind and then forgiven her! 😆
Anyways, really enjoyed it and looking frwd to this week.
