I think the makers are maybe trying to showcase Selflessness and Selfishness of the two couples in question. In order to show the selflessness of Dev and Sona they are creating a lot of Drama 😉 no surprises here. Of course since they have to showcase selflessness they have to show selfishness and now enter Elena and Vicky.

Even though Vicky may have stood up for his wife today I feel that is only to serve his own purpose and not out of respect for Elena. So I am not going to award him any brownie points today

In this journey hope Dev and Sona realize that by being "selfless" towards everybody they are often enabling abusive and selfish behavior in others- Like Neha, Vicky, Elena etc and in life we do need to be a little selfish. For Ultimately, you're only in charge of yourself, and you are the center point in your life.

I find the whole thing illogical be it Nikki or vilena sleeping in their room. Yes for the past few episodes they are trying to show the other side so to say but when it defies logic it can be very frustrating.

To show the contrasts to the characters they could have been more creative! Be it the Ayana track or vilena track everything seems so contrived which this show never was. What a let down it has been!

But why make them look like stupid? If someone gives you their apple because that's the only one they got, that is selfless. When Ranveer's bhabhi left their best room for Ranveer and Neha, that was selfless since they didn't have many comfortable room in their house. But when Dev and Sona leaves their room when they have a perfectly decent guest room, that's stupidity.

Why Vicky and Elena could not sleep in guest room? What's the big deal? It's not as if their room was decorated for a honeymoon night anyways.

That's my problem. This dumbing down of characters is bothering me. I can tolerate cunning characters but idiot characters irritates the crap out of me.

Pre wedding their romance was way more sensuous yet decent. That scene where Dev is buttoning his shirt and he comes close to her and asks her how he makes her feel. It was so well done.

There are better ways of showing the giving nature of one couple vs the other

Vicky now has a partner in crime. The pair will start milking devakshi left right and center. Especially now that sonakshi has a high standard to meet thanks to her mother's advice.
