Today I literally felt that Sonakshi's transformation to doormat is complete.
1. Sonakshi is upset with Elena. Asha asks to help her. So she takes out her frustration on Nikki since she can't say anything to Elena and also Elena is made of harder stuff than she can handle. Why she tried to convince Elena after the marriage that it was a mistake, God knows. What would it solve? Nothing.
2. Dev and Sonakshi decide to support the marriage. That also meant together they decided to turn into the joint caretaker of all freeloaders in Dixit mansion.
I used to think Dixit house was a house (not home since everyone has an ulterior motive and no one speaks truth to each other), but today I am sure that it is a hotel.
When we are in a hotel and the service is not up to the standard, what do we do? We complaint to the management/caretaker.
Vicky and Elena's AC is not working. What do they do? They go to Dev and Sonakshi's room to spend their honeymoon night. Excellent. Even Dev and Sona didn't get to spend their honeymoon on their own bed.
Did they go to their parents' room? No. Why would they? They are also renter like them. The management has to fix their service.
However three things stood out for me today.
1. I hate Vicky so I hate to say this. But Vicky stood up for the commitment he made to Elena. He made is clear that treating Elena like shit means losing him. Regardless how insulting Radha gets to Sonakshi, she won't dare insult Elena in fear of losing her son. And this ladies and gentlemen, I was saying since beginning. Only Dev could have stopped all insults to Sonakshi. As Vicky stands by Elena, if Dev continues to be silent when Sonakshi is insulted (last two days notwithstanding), then the difference will become more glaring.
2. Neha can't tolerate Dev and Sonakshi romancing. I wonder how would she react if Sonakshi ever had a child. That's why her issues needed to be fixed because now it's escalating.
3. Dev and Sonakshi are banned to have romantic moments. Someone or other always interrupts them. I have heard about Bandstand in Mumbai where hawaldars bother lovers. Dev and Sonakshi are also surrounded by moral police. Since wedding is not banned due to Neha's unhappiness. Why don't they kick start their honeymoon plan as well?
Precap: Finally Dev learned from Vicky and planning a surprise. How much you are willing to bet that it will get ruined as well?
