I mean when there is some in between relations and like that the kids are usually referred as cousins for lack of better name(in english)... By that it might be possible that Ayaan and Kushi are kids of brother and sister. Marriage between them do happen in India...

I have known lot of families doing that...

Hi Shavi, In the north of India, marraige between cousins is not acceptable unlike the south of India.

When they have kid Sona might take a short break from her work and the responsibility of providing falls on her husband .Its not like he is doing some favour on his wife or kid .

Money matters are very tricky. After many many years of being married...I still feel awkward asking my husband for money. It doesn't matter that he buys me diamonds, he pays for everything we buy for our home, or whatever I buy when we go out together, however expensive...But it feels awkward to ask for money. Does it make sense?

In Sona's place today, I understood why she doesn't ask him for money (cash) but I did not understand why she feels the need to return the small amounts she takes from him. I think that is CVs over compensating for the prenup track.

Aayan's father referred to khushi as 'ghar ki bachchi' . Another badly executed episode if you ask me.

Vaise Ishwari Dev relationship bhee borderline creepy lagta hai ! Isse acha to Ayan ko Gay character dikahte aur boyfriend ko cousin ya friend. He is marrying Ria for status in society and money.Phir Ishwari/GKB did not understand and only Sona could understand the romantic relationship between the two boys would have made more sense. Just my POV.

Yes agree tht its completely okay for either husband or wife to take financial help from each other..ur spouse wud b one of the first from whom u wud ask money whenever need arise. But its equally normal for a person to hesitate a bit before asking money from husband or any other family member specially when they r not used to taking money from others. Here these two are newly weds n they have huge difference in financial status but with time they wud get more comfortable with such situations.

Also in the show Sona has been shown to be somewhat uncomfortable with the difference in their financial status, so slight hesitation from her side n wants to return it asap. N Dev knows this abt Sona n he is also kinda proud tht his wife is financially independent, so he was pleasantly surprised.

That was my take too. He is very proud of sonakshi's independence. Financial, emotional and more importantly relationships. If he was to ever treat her as a trophy this quality is what would be the trophy.

However, there was a hint of a future rift in there for me. See, he liked that sona asked him for cash. (The loaning bit was just a romantic dig) . Now how will he feel when he finds out that she has been (at some point) raising cash for her own venture. That's was an undertone in there for me.

And when Ayaan made a scene at Dixits place he was making it sound offended by sona's thoughts about his and khushi's relationship. Like they are bro- sis.
And yes marriage between distant cousins happens in our country. May be that's why cvs have disclosed that what type of cousins they are.

That scene was quite confusing ...either Ayan's parents also involved n hence lied abt cousin thing or if they are unaware n Ayan n Khushi r actually cousins...then their relationship might not be accepted easily n hence they just want to get married to Riya for money n keep on dating Khushi.

I have an aunt(my dad's sister, bua) and kind of grew up in their home. I spent almost same time in their home as much as mine. She has 5 sons and she used to say that i was like a daughter and i felt the same. I used to think of them as my brothers.

When I finished college, I came to know that my 4th cousin actually liked me though we never really went out or even talked separately. He proposed to me and I said no. After that I came to know that my aunt also wanted me to marry him. It felt so weird for me when this happened and I could not understand how at that time. Their whole family was happy when he told them he wishes to marry me!!!

Today CVs ne dil khush kar diya. There were lot of points to be discussed today. Yes, all of the ones you mentioned and the following (in my opinion),

1. Dev really likes to provide for the people he loves. Sona asked him for money and that made him immensely happy. Sona, since Dev likes to do something for you, why not let him sometimes. Also, treat him when you want to do something for him. That is how relationship works - doing little things for each other. After marriage both of your money is combined money for both anyway.

2. Neha these days takes offence to anything and everything. That's why I said that Sona should have been given the opportunity to fix Neha and Ranveer's relationship. Because Neha, like Ishwari, when unhappy she makes everyone unhappy. But even Dev's massive patience broke today. He finally had enough. Very happy to see that.

3. Ayan and Riya I think are not cousins at all, but couples. And his parents definitely know. Otherwise they won't have created a fuss over a natural conclusion.

5. Nikki always stands by Sonakshi. She is probably the only Dixit who loves Sonakshi unconditionally without asking anything in return.

6. No Ishwari = Dil garden garden ho gaya... I am definitely going to watch it on loop.

Yes agree this was just laying the foundation for Sona trying to raise funds from outside without telling Dev abt it. At that moment, Dev wud nt like it tht Sona didn't even tell him abt it.

And maybe wen d prenup thing comes, he wud state such incidents to Ish tht Sona was never comfortable taking money from him n didn't marry him for his money
