Hey guys...am glad to see positive reactions all across forum today. It was indeed a fast paced on point episode n great way to move story forward. Our expectations were so low but good to see Ishwari n Gkb less epi.
First let me list out positives -

Dev apologises to Sona for Ish n Neha's behavior n Dev made Sona sit on that jhoola. Am sure after separation, Dev wud spend lot more time on that jhoola

Dev witness Neha's rude behavior towards Sona multiple times n confronted Neha. First time he did not feel guilty abt Neha's chdhood struggle n retorted tht he also had a tough childhood n is doing a lot to support family.

Sona asking money from Dev n tht she wud return it asap. 👏Wish Neha wud hv heard tht Sona doesn't even take any money from Dev unless absolutely necessary. Just a nudge towards prenup n contrast a point tht Neha GKB feels Sona married Dev for money

Vicki Elena affair out in open. Dev told d right thing that Sona shud hv told him abt this affair.

Very less Ishwari n GKB. Because of Ish insecurities, story was stuck in a loop

No mama ji so no faltu ka gyan ..n no Ishwari bhajan

No halwa, no kachori, no dinner

Proof tht Ayan is indeed bad

Sona's office was shown . Am always happy when they show smthing related to Sona's career

Vicki stealing from company account - much awaited track n Dev didn't brush it aside as he had promised Mama tht he will take care of Vicki's mistakes as well.

Nicki supporting Sona...one person who genuinely likes Sona

Now the things that shud hv been better -

Ayan n Khushi scene - such an awkward scene as if coming straight from CID or other saas bahu drama with evil plots n revenge. That scene was just to tell us Sona is always right n Ayan is bad but the scene itself felt very out of place. Maybe even his parents are nt aware of his n Khushi's relationship n tht he wants to marry Riya for money. Our writers also gave in to the current trend of kidnapping in tv serials these days.

Sona's over generous n unrealistic nature - Its fine if she feels bad after series of insults by Ish n Neha..any normal person wud feel bad but writers want to show as Mahanta ki devi...who only thinks abt family. Even Dev got irritated with Neha but Sona is always overly understanding ...this is just not needed. Atleast show she feels bad but keeps mum coz she feels bad abt Neha's situation or doesn't want to aggravate already bad situation. Here toh Sona doesn't even feel bad which is unrealistic.

Completely agree with your post.
Ayaan and khushi scene was just to show that they are negative. I am actually confused about their relationship. Are they cousins in love (incest) or faking it. But then how come Ayaan's family is convinced. Super confused.
About Sona, well i will be glad if she is shown normal and getting hurt. Either she is not at all aware of anything (like jhoola making Dev uncomfortable) or she is understands everyone. Anyways I am glad she called Dev for help during Elena crisis. And i really hope Devakshi as a team solve issues together.

Loved today's episode.

Completely agree with ur post.Especially the last part reg Sona.I am fed up of CV's trying to portray Sona as Mahanta Ki Devi. They should portray her as normal human being.Who gets hurt of the hate words she hears for her.But Sona never feel bad n she is epitome of understanding. What was the need for Sona to pacify Neha after Dev scolded Neha. Why she want to get in to good books of Neha.I agree with Neha.Sona should not come in between Dev N Neha.Let the bro n sis fight n Dev scold Neha.Neha needed to be shown mirror.Tomorrow I hope again.Sona don't stop Dev from scolding Vicky or slap him.If she does so.Then I prefer Dev being mute spectator for Sona's insult.Because Sona wants to be in good books of all n be Mahanta Ki Devi .Also epitome of understanding. Why the hell CV's want Sona to be like typical RS[Female] N EK soap heroine.Better CV's make Sona share her doubt reg Ayaan to Dev.After the Elena issue.Don't want Sona to become the super bahu.Who solve all problem alone.CV's need to show DevAkshi working as team to solve the problems.

Agree with you .

I have a different opinion about borrowing money from your husband .For me being independent doesn't mean you cannot even borrow some money from your husband and should return it back to him asap.Keeping accounts for small amounts show that they are not close yet .At the end of the days it's their money no matter who earns .Maybe I am old school.

When they have kid Sona might take a short break from her work and the responsibility of providing falls on her husband .Its not like he is doing some favour on his wife or kid .

@Red. In Indian english, Cousin is commonly used for anyone who is kids of 2 brothers or 2 sisters or brother and sisters. I mean when there is some in between relations and like that the kids are usually referred as cousins for lack of better name(in english)... By that it might be possible that Ayaan and Kushi are kids of brother and sister. Marriage between them do happen in India...

I have known lot of families doing that...

Yes we want to see Sona's genuine emotions ...n we want to see Dev n Sona talking abt problems even though they might disagree on smthing...they shud talk it out n resolve it together. I think this wud be an eye opener for Sona that she didn't confide abt Vicki n Elena's relationship with Dev n now they have landed into a bigger problem.

I have known lot of families doing that...

They have actually not cleared what type of cousins they are, like mama, chacha, bua ki beti types. Like other "cousins" are shown vicky- neha, riya, nikki and saurabh- elena .
And when Ayaan made a scene at Dixits place he was making it sound offended by sona's thoughts about his and khushi's relationship. Like they are bro- sis.
And yes marriage between distant cousins happens in our country. May be that's why cvs have disclosed that what type of cousins they are.

I agree !
1.I somehow did not feel connected to the romance and felt that it was too forced. I am not liking Sona's over undestading behavior. This is a wrong lesson taught to the new generation of women that every tom dick and harry can say any thing to you infront of everyone and being a mahan and shallen bahu, you need to take all the crap unless your husband steps forward to defend you. The Dixits are downright rude for human decency and no one should take this much crap on daily basis.

2. Somehow I did not like the Jhula scene also because it kept reminding me that the woman sitting on the Jhula has just taken a bunch load of crap again and the man pushing the jhula ran to his mother when he tripped a few times on the Jhula.

3. Elena was at the party when Mamijee was making tall claims about Ayan's family. There were only three families. Why did she not make a comment to Sona then? May be it was a blooper.

4. If Ishwari was quiet today, Neha had become the taunting queen keeping the negative OTT trend that is currently going on. Did not miss Ishwari at all. Got the same negativity in a diffeernt packaging.

5. Dev is turning into a fool. This guy did not even realize that Vicky would swindle money and he runs a business? He does not even want to send a detective for Ayan when Ayan's affair is so obviousaround the college campus?

6. Why is Sona bringing smoothies to everyone on bed? Why can't they show that girls are cooking with their bhabhi? Again a wrong trend to teach the young generation. She was serving food with Kichu and Ria (I think) to Ayan's family also. So wrong on so many levels !

7. After seeing so much abuse at Dixit mansion, I somehow don't see any spark in the Devakshi moments anymore. Somehow I have become very hopeless about them after all this nagativity and Dev's constant ditching of Sona for Ishwari's emotional drama. Would he ever talk to Neha like this and defend Sona if Matajee was in the vicinity is the biggest question now.

8. Bottom line is that although the episode was decent, it has lost the sparkle for me after seeing infinite cycle of constant negativity.

I am glad some of you felt the same as me. It may be just done because it was the 200th episode like diwali episode. Ishwari is so negative now that the only way an episode can be positive is by eliminating her. Wow! Supriya should get an award just for that.

I really want to see if there is a general improvement in devakshi at all or just swinging from one pole to another
