After watching this week's episodes till now I have come to a very obvious conclusion... what I mean is that whatever is happening on screen right now may not be 100% real but it's actually very close to reality. What they are trying to highlight, exactly, only time will tell! And I trust them to justify their job. There's also something else, like an undercurrent to the whole scenario, and its nothing else than dev lacking a spine. Whatever is happening what with ishwari taunting sonakshi at the birthday bash, the not heeding to her advices, ishwari trying her level best to keep sonakshi out of the equation, is all one way or another the trio's fault. All three of them are responsible for the current situation of course the ratio of inputs is a bit different.

the ratio of the errors I feel it's: 60% dev's fault, that things have run so out of hand ; then comes ishwari's insecurities they have a share of, say 30% and last and also the least there's our very own sonakshi with a scorecard of 10%.

Now let's start from the least, how is this sonakshi's fault one might ask?? She is one of the strongest characters on the show, with the right amount of brains and sense, then why is she so shy from discussing matters with dev, can't she tell him directly how things are working around. Why is she still so mum about ishwari taunting her way around??? Why is she so hell bent on losing her self-respect?? The moment she stops caring about her self-esteem the dixits will claw her down!!

Ishwari one might say she is plagued with the empty nest syndrome, but the fact is she is too afraid of the unknown. She was always in the comfort zone, where she was worshipped, where nothing went beyond her word, where the worlds collapsed on her uttering the single syllable no. till some point of time it is relatable, that yes a mother might feel this, but facts be searched and rendered this is not just love that is making her do it: its paranoia!! She is paranoid that as soon as sonakshi starts to gain a position in the household she will be side lined, even though if something like this may or may not happen, that's a different question all together, but on the looks of it this will never happen... Also she is so used to being the centre of the universe, that subconsciously she is afraid that tag has slipped right through her nose and landed on sonakshi's head... the reason why she wanted sonakshi to stay away from a sick dev was because she wanted dev to again crown her the most important part of his world, burying him under the immense layer of sleepless nights she had been facing since the time of birth!! Point be told her behaviour is that of a person who is trying really hard to maintain the faade in front of a particular someone but deep down inside knows that the faade is slipping!!

If truth be told dev is the major defaulter.. My father always says that when a man gets married it's his prime duty, to understand the need of his family and to balance his family.. now from the very beginning either dev is just too buried under the ishwari baggage, or too spineless to take a stand whatever is the reason the results are in front of us, he has time and again failed sonakshi... it is very much possible that he can, and he should politely ask his mother to refrain from competing with sonakshi in terms of affection.. it's like he is completely oblivious to the MIL and DIL engaged in a battle the wife Is destined to loose.. even though both women have different approach to handling situation regarding him... because of dev constantly, like a preprogrammed directive, following every beck and call of mommy dearest and making her feel on the top of the world, has forgotten all about the functioning's of the real world and how delicate the threads of matrimony are... it's a husbands duty to make his wife the acceptable material but here dev's has completely backed out of that spot.. it's like he feels everything will be done right in time!!

This cycle is being repeated in every episode ishwari refusing to bow down to the changes, sonakshi losing her self-respect and dev turning a blind eye towards the whole matter!!

The situations can only improve when dev tries to see through the cracks, if, he tries to fill the unnecessary gaps that are being created.. it is only possible if the mother son duo sit down together and he makes it really clear that sonakshi is and will stay a part of the house no matter what!!

A woman when she leaves her house and walks the thresholds of her husband's palace from that moment onwards she becomes his responsibility, sounds a little clich bit that's the whole crux of it ,it's his job to not only love and respect her, but also make sure the people of the house respect her and if not love her but at least accept her!! But dev is soo oblivious that he has even failed to see the pure dislike neha and mamiji harbour towards sonakshi!!! It's a shame!! And dev needs to MAN UP!!

On other note hats off to our makers and cvs for keeping the show so close to realtiy!!

Sorry for the rant, its was something building up inside of me from a really long time!! Feel free to add or subtract something from this post, and you all are free to discuss, criticize, comment and contradict the above said!!

If Dev Man's up... then won't there be an end to the story...which the TRP Producer would not like...😃
But ya, I wholly agree... there will be cracks in our family... if the son/husband doesn't take up his responsibility...😕 then DIL-MIL relation suffers n also his own life... a constant tug of war...

You have raised some valid points here .I would like to highlight few things here .I am not saying Dev is innocent but I am saying sometimes Sona has invited trouble for herself .Its not like Dev has never stood up for Sona he has sometimes he hasn't .

1. When someone is hurt or if someone is causing you pain in your new place .You have to talk to that one person for whom you are here.Confidence is good but not overconfidence .Sona has never shared her feelings to Dev nor keeps him informed about the happenings in the home .She is over confident that she can solve everything.Example is Vicky issue .She is being threatened yet she doesn't think she should talk to her husband .Tomorrow if something happens to her because of Vicky the blame would fall on Dev for not protecting her .

2.Learn to respect others space : She has to realize that she needs to back off when asked to .Her interference in Neha's issue was not encouraged but she did not back off .Time and again Neha kept saying she is made to feel like an outsider whenever Sona advised her to go back .I understand she had good intentions but when you see other person is not in a mood to listen then you need to back off .Today Neha is insecure, jealous of Sona one of the reasons is she feels her Bhabhi doesn't want her in her home.I am not saying Neha is right but I think Sona invited trouble

3. I have been saying this somewhere Sonakshi is insecure as well .She should not try to replace Ishwari 's presence in Dev's life .I mean to say if a mom wants to cook certain dish for her son then allow her to .If mom wants to serve food to Dev allow her .Dont try to compete with her for his attention.Make your own place in his life .Dev is not looking for another mom in Sona .I am not saying Ishwari is right or Sona is wrong .

Only person who taunts her without any reasons is RR and no matter what Sona does she will find ways to taunt her .

This is what I wrote in response to Gemini.

Here the problem is that Sonakshi is playing a game, but not by the same rule of the current game. She is playing by the rules of her previous game.

She is thinking that if she behaves like Asha, then Ishwari will turn Dida and they will have the same relationship as Asha and Dida have like a mother and daughter.

But that is turning out to be the wrong move in the current game. Every move she is making is being misinterpreted by Ishwari because she is not Dida.

And Ishwari is playing the game of "one up man ship" where she is trying to bring Sonakshi down in an attempt to push herself up. Instead she is sliding into an abyss more and more because Sonakshi is standing strong.

Sonakshi needs to understand that she will never have Asha and Dida equation with Ishwari because she doesn't have Dida's heart and Sonakshi doesn't have Asha's duckback personality where nothing pierces her serenity.

She will just have to settle with Ishwari being the in-law who will forever remain the in-law and she will be the daughter-in-law who will also remain the same.

I think Sonakshi is quite oblivious to not yet get that Ishwari doesn't love her, she just tolerates her. And she needs to get over this constant need to gain her approval. Ishwari doesn't need Dev part 2 even in her own daughters, nor Dev needs another competitor for Ishwari's affection. Let Dev be devotee no. 1 to Goddess no. 1.

I feel sona is in denial... somewhere deep down inside she is well aware of the dynamics of the situation but is trying really hard to change it... the only result is her failing and ishwari disapproving her futher!!

The day she realizs there is no point in trying to understand or decipher the godess devotee relationship... she would give up the whole idea to be a part of the dixit household
But even if this is the problem the solution is mr dev dixit sitting down and sorting the whole situation by explaining to both of them the need he has in his life, the place each of them holds, and secure them enough to stop this petty battle for affection
