Thanks dear for sharing the article here..Nice read and I am positive this author is either a stalker of this forum or some member with a different pen name 😳😆

How sad to see that CVs have made this serial as a medium to scare the youngsters from marriage as though modernization is not enough😕 Marriage or bachelorhood both have its own ups and downs, its all in the way how we face it to make it memorable😳 Hope CVs get back their grip!!

I still find the plot is on track.. Yes there will be good and bad episodes but that is because you look at a 20 min episode and judge whether it was balanced or not.. I read a few articles on twitter that really made sense and i kinda understand what cvs are trying to do with this track..
This track is basically required for sona's realization - she was alienated before the marriage and she thought it ia because they are not yet married and things will be different after marriage... But she was wrong.. Even thought she is a member of the family now she still is not entitled to do what she wishes to ... She is slowly realizing that now... Next step will be to start and fight for her rights... Which she has already started to do with dev in maa track.. Slowly she will fight with the whole family for her rights in her own way...
I kinda expected neha to be like this the moment she started feeling jealous of sona... That is nehas nature right from beginning.. She envys anything that she doesnt or cant have .. There will be a realization track and i hope to see neha change her attitude... It is not easy as she is a tough cookie..
I think aayan track is going to help bringout that realization - something is really fishy with that dude.. I sm lovIng vickylena - vicky has really fallen for her and i am waiting for the day when they elipe and get married and give a shock to both gkb and sona..
Yes some episodes dont make me happy but i feel they are important for the progression of the story..

I rest my case... As long as dev is acting 1% sensible , i bring back my happy thoughts 🤣

Ps: trying to win both mamaji award and cheer haran award for this week 🤣

Arey am calm just was disappointed with last week episodes 😆 Read about the TRP rise for all shows in another response but Lavanya I know this pattern of rushing things, then forming new tracks, making good people bad and vice versa, giving unexpected twist and end show finally when nothing works out with some happy ending saying its for viewers pleasure...I don't want this for our show and hence the feeling of scare.

Like I wrote in "Shaavi's" post I can still justify every character and their actions if needed but I need that transparency to be given by the makers to the normal audience now (atleast to 50% of them) instead of the viewers searching social sites and analysts waiting to make sense of episodes. If this happens then their execution is wronged completely and they need to buckle up fast because even the understanding analysts might become tired cleaning up the messed up scenes.

Like I said earlier I don't have any problem with showing Dev dumb, Sona insensitive or Ishwari crazy but all should be executed meaningfully unlike last week where it all went haywire..Today's episode was spot on in that department to understand my point precisely. Dev was balanced, Sona was sensitive and Ishwari was her insecure self and the story moved forward.

ur P.S: 😆 My hearty wishes ..All the best😉

Thats because I was not angry dear..just disappointed 😳 Thanks for such a nice compliment.

I have few points to say here

Firstly the only reason that brings genuine warmth and smile to me in current scenario too is Dev Sona..they have such innocence that I dont feel disconnected or angry with them..their bond their love is so beautiful even with all the crap surrounding them ..they dont fail to give me happiness which is damn calming..I dont know if everyone feels so or not..but I end up feeling so always LOL <3

I am really happy if you feel that way because that was one aspect I got worried when I watched the episodes. But I felt that connect today when Sona caressed him and Dev asked her well being as soon as he opened his eyes. Their was genuinity today which was missing last week for me😳.

Secondly like I have been hearing this TRP thing for like now around 2 weeks almost..though after marriage KRPKAB has been pushed in to saas bahu category jiski definition kya hai ye main nhi samjh paa rahi hoon..and I have said it like so many times here and their..that if their is a husband a wife and a Mothr in law then its a saas bahu concept..but then what has always kept KRPKAB separate from other daily heavy saree jewellery drama is the approach which not even for a second made anyone feel that they are watching some OTT fake story..now coming to "TRP"- the ultimate villain LOL..as per what I am reading everywhere like fans are complaining , its because of TRPs they have brought in drama and so much emotional stressful scenes..here what I want to analyze and go back to old episodes..they kept everything quite straight forward till Dev Sona confession ..if I see episodes after it excluding romance ..slowly they brought Ishwari in to the equation and we actually started seeing the face of her insecurity towards Dev..and then when it reached to its high point Dev Sona broke up..and from then this DRAMA thing came in (according to audience) ..but apparently cvs never dragged that track and finished it soon..with Dev Sona getting back together and the pace they picked from their left everyone surprised as in flat 3 episodes Dev Sona wedding date was finilized and they got married in next 4 days..everyone felt it was rushed (including me) and then started the SAAS BAHU DRAMA..jisko suntey hi everyone cringes like anything ..but what else can happen after marriage..They needed to move on with the original concept and for that situations were created.. drama continued with ups and downs..the whole point of me mentioning this is just that "Drama" is part of every concept..and its been their in KRPKAB from quite some time..Untill ..now TRPs never came in question..then how and why TRPs are blamed for current episodes..what ever CVs are showing and doing is because they are hungry for TRPs
I read some member from KRPKAB team (as far as I remember) saying Sony gives them space to work and is the only channel where they could come up with something different..Also Sony has given some unusual shows in past too without getting much in to TRP race..If it had been star plus or colors then I would have much convinced with this reason..and I probably would have been one to support it LOL

You know what I don't know what others feel but KRPKAB is not typical "Saas bahu drama" even today. My grudge is only about the confusing execution and not about the equations of Ishwari and Sona at all. lets face it, its about a story of insecure mother and son whose lives changes after a girl enters their life..obviously they all need to be under one roof for the story to unfold and hence marriage took place and now events are shown about their journey. I will never turn this as Saas - bahu crap. You want to know whats typical says-bahu drama is?

* Evil Sasuma always planning and plotting against Bahu
* Goody two shoes bahu who will be milky white and absorbs all sins of others.
* Even if the problem can be solved with single phone call, she will take the longest route to collect proofs
* Meek bahu turning tigress challenging sasuma face to face or vice versa
* In all this the poor husband will be a rotten furniture piece😆

I can't even think 1% of this as KRPKAB😆 So I guess you got my point.
For e.g.., Ishwari after seeing Dev bathed with cold water, could have started crying subtly but strongly with just gasping whisper "Sona..what have you done?" holding Dev closely and stammering "I shouldn't have left you alone Dev..shouldn't have" ...Even without screaming at Sona, this scene would have created the same impact needed showing Ishwari's deep love and fear at the same time and I would have stood by that mother thick and skin justifying her concern.
Dev realizing the blunder of "Maa fiasco" but was soon masked by Bijoy's insensitiveness..had they not shown that , we would have felt Dev was genuine and even that nod with his mother would have been justified.,
Sona sleeping off when Dev is shivering in 104 fever, etc etc

These are the scenes written for TRP audience who will go ooohhh and awww at extremeities . All I wanted was the simple story which captivated us, OTT dramas are not required in our KRPKAB😳

PS - This is my thought..no defending or offending involved LOL..I had this in my head so poured in here..and I felt this is best place to say it :P..will be waiting for your reply :)

I totally get you dear...Am so sorry for not making daily posts for some of you to share your thoughts but kya karoon, forum time is really sucking up my real time and I feel bad if I don't reply😆 Hope this response brought you some hope that no I don't hate KRPKAB😉😆

PPS - Hi..how are you ??..I have been keeping away from forum for sometime now for some mental peace LOL

I am very fine and can see many staying away especially when your most trusted people are disappointed as well 😳 Don't worry I still have faith in this content and the makers will not have blind eye to cast and viewers' plea and will stick to original story !!

For once, I don't like your title 😆 (Never thought I'd say that 😆).

I know the last few episodes haven't been up to par and the reaction itself has been quite extreme. But somehow, I don't feel yet that the storyline has been butchered for the sake of TRPs. I mean Sony and TRPs don't go hand in hand as far as fiction is concerned.

But like you pointed out, it's the execution of this track that isn't working currently. Second, there just isn't much of a respite anymore as it looks like it's back to back drama. Furthermore, the actors themselves feeling disconnected is disheartening as well. And that itself fuels even more negativity among the internet audience.

With all this being said, the optimist in me still feels the makers know what they are doing and we'll go back to praising them soon. Today's episode once again strengthened that belief. The makers showed a lot of drama following initial post-marriage epis and then quickly flipped it around with some progress and growth in the characters. Then again they brought in the drama quotient again. I do think they are building up towards something and are just slowly unraveling (which unfortunately is testing our patience as well 😆). So even despite all this drama, the makers still keep dropping hints here and there that the characters are still the same and to just hold on.

My only complaint is that I wish all these insecurities and drama were executed properly. After all, too much masala spoils the dish 😆

I hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving 😛 😊 😃 😛

I completely agree with you that few things and characters have been seriously butchered by CVs.👍🏼 👍🏼

I feel extremely bad when few people in this forum say that they are scared to get married if this is the harsh truth of a post married life.

The show definitely has an impact on its audience who religiously follow this show.

Extremely disappointed with Dev and Neha's character graph. 😭 😭

I really hope things only improve going forward.

On a different note .. I quiet liked watching Ranveer and his dignified way of dealing with Dixits.😃 😳
Really looking forward for some powerful sequences with him.

Thanks dear ..yes it was fun thanksgiving with friends and kids😃

@bold line is one disturbing news. When a show is deeply impacting real life , the creatives responsibility just doubles here. This is when reality becomes drama and I don't want that drama in KRPKAB. Not every gal is Sona here and either every Mom is Ishwari here , so taking this serial as example for your future life is just sad.

Our serial has the special quality of not having a vamp and when the CVs are deliberately making Ishwari and Neha black I felt TRP played role

Today's episode brought back my hope ...lets wait and watch 😊

I kind of disagree with you on the thought that all this is due to TRP. I do get distracted with the negativity sometimes especially in last few episodes but overall I want to trust the CVs. I love this show a lot because it has made me realise a few mistakes I have done in not able to understand or interpret a few situations correctly. Like the parents wanting to keep their kids dependent on them so they can feel wanted. I have made my son and my hubby quite independent similar to what were Sonas thoughts because I grew up the same way but in all that may be I have hurt the sentiments of parents. I also loved the Ishu Sona scene where she asks a very fundamental question and its question back to society where parents expect daughters are different and sons are different. Ishu herself told Neha to do all that what Asha asked Sona to do but we generally do not tell our boys the same. Its not just Ishwari .. i have seen this in many households.

To be honest regardless of the negativity at 4:00 pm uk time every weekday I look forward to knowing what happened today and precap is always engaging to ensure audience is slicing and dicing it till next day.

Thanks

Thanks Maya for your honest feedback. I had to question CVs especially after seeing the concerned cast's statements. Its really sad if the cast portraying that character cannot connect to it. I wanted that simplicity and the genuine apologies and solutions with that transparency which is the essence of KRPKAB. Last week episodes were executed with such confusion especially with the intention of making Ishwari completely black and crazy when her real problem is insecurity and can be subtly showed instead of such OTT scenes. I don't have any problem with the scenes they chose but their execution mattered.

Though my enthusiasm level is decreased nowadays , I can still proudly say KRPKAB is still have promising content which can be pathbreaking if handled with care.

Sony tv TRPs are always low coz their reach is limited across rural India and KRPKAB does not strike a chord with rural audiences as it is about modern day relationship and hence the highest online ratings.

But, if the cvs are given us this ott melodrama for TRP...it'll mess up the whole thing. Coz their rural reach is limited and it'll be off-putting for the more progressive regular viewers of the show. And I am sure the makers of aware of all this and yet the writing is falling short most of the time (and I had great admiration for their writing team for the longest time).

The cvs are trying to convey the many changes that are happening in the Dixit household and in Dev's life and the changes need to happen (inevitable) but the overtly dramatic scenes that are more about kitchen politics and dumbing down of Dev are seriously annoying and unacceptable.

The progress of plot should not mean regression of characters (as in the case of Dev and Sona to a certain extent too. I am tired of Ish and so am zipping my lips.)

I really hope, the makers will go back to their simpler execution style instead of melodrama.

But the way they keep introducing track after track without resolving a single one...Since Dev-Sona marraige...

1. Neha-Ranveer drama

2. Saurab dada bankruptcy

3. Vicky-Elena

4. Ria-Ayan

And they keep coming without a dam to stem the flow. Four new tracks in 8 weeks, which is, a new track every two weeks but not one sees resolution. I'm guessing they are linking one to the other and to the next and this adds to the already troubling execution of the current tracks.

All this over and above Ishwari's growing insecurities , Dev's regression and Sona's alienation.

What are they doing? I am giving up my endeavour to understand the writing process of this once-intelligent show.

And my mind is in such chaos that I forgot to welcome you back...Really good to see you back here again...

Sandy 🤗 how much hurt you have girl ! I can feel your disappointment throughout your post !
I have no knowledge about Sony and TRP history but when the makers confuse even the cast members, who are they pleasing? that can be TRP audience naa..well if its lazy writing instead am more horrified than this😲 What happened to our sensible writers then who captured our hearts with simplicity and straightforwardness ??

Lets just hope its all a minor glitch and they know what they are doing😆 So many tracks, so many possibilities and scenarios ,, if they execute beautifully we might have a delight of experience without these disappointments😳

Don't let a serial dictate your thought process, when the entertainment factor is diminished, its better not to invest emotionally till you are convinced 😊 take care my friend 🤗

Acchacho am hurttt 😭😆 Well still I am the privileged chosen one to get your response no matter how dumb the title is 😉😆

Yes numerous members pointed this fact out..but my past experience of show butchery due to TRP pressure has made me think that way😳

But like you pointed out, it's the execution of this track that isn't working currently. Second, there just isn't much of a respite anymore as it looks like it's back to back drama. Yup closure off or atleast talking about unclosed tracks could be off some respite instead of going in circles leaving so many tracks hanging behind

With all this being said, the optimist in me still feels the makers know what they are doing and we'll go back to praising them soon. Yes today's episode gave me even that hope as well because it was balanced and on point to the track. Oh the optimist in me never dies till serial ends but Supriyaji's statement got me thinking if the makers are really that oblivious than we give credit for😆 Anyways I hope the beauty of the show is kept intact after the brief mess they showcased. Fingers crossed

My only complaint is that I wish all these insecurities and drama were executed properly. After all, too much masala spoils the dish 😆
BINGO..exactly my feelings friend 😊
