I loved ur post. Absolutely right ishwari doesn't want to get out of the grihasth stage. She is clutching on it very badly but that doesn't change the fact that her days of playing dainty little housewife r over. Let sonakshi start her own grihasthi without her constant hovering. It is really shady how she never ever remembers her husband and never forgets dev. Its always about me and dev and our eternal love where no one can intrude between us. I also want to know doesn't dev feels tired, worn out with constant hovering of her mother and always dictating his life. Come on ishwari let them be. Ur son is young not 60yrs old or 8 yrs old like u think.

True. And not to mention, if Dev is no longer there, what you will do to her we all know. He is alive now and they treat Sonakshi like enemy.

What are you saying?! Sona is not a doctor. Woh kya kehte hai usse? Haan, woh toh bas sirf nutritionist hai. Why would she have some basic medical knowledge?

PS I do really get Ishwari freaking out, all mothers would. But she just put me off too bad with that 'mere bete ko maar dalogi kya' comment. Maar bhi dalegi toh kya faida hoga? She had already made Dev sign the prenup and Sona in any case wouldn't get a penny.

I know right?

He has such a low immunity. Why? Because he was mollycoddled.

The child who plays outdoors and sunshine and gets into dirt and mud doesn't get as much sick as the child whose mother shoves him in layers and monkey cap and keeps him locked indoors.

Every immigrant kids when they arrive in Canada for the first time get sick from extreme cold. But as time passes, those same kids play ice hockey in their school team. It's how you increase immunity. Even vaccine is introducing low dose of the dead bacteria for our body to create immunity.

Thanks. And you know what is more annoying? Dev asking Ishwari's permission to eat ice cream. As in, "Mummy mummy, can I eat the ice cream my buddy got? Peez peez, pwetty peez?" What are you, 8 years old?

Yeah. I know, right? But then why get him married? Ishwari should have asked Dev to stay single. He is such a mother's pet, he'd have stayed single.

Tia 👏 for your post.

Today I am going to play devils advocate. I am a hyper mother myself when it comes to my kids illness i freak out and don't feel comfortable whoever takes care including my husband.

Regarding the treatments there are two schools of thought to combat fever my grandma used to cover us with heavy blankets to ward temperature she used to say we have to sweat it out and I chose the shower method. My son ones had high fever that he went into shock and started getting fits I did take him to the bath tub and immersed him in water and when the ambulance came they said that I did right otherwise he would have got worse. Yesterday, my dog fell ill and i was freaking out so much that my husband banned me from coming to the vet 😆

As a parent I freak out every time my child has a simple cold my kids get irritated, my husband gets irritated but that is the way I am so I can understand where Easwari is coming from of course the whole thing has been exaggerated for drama sake.

For the rest of the episode I have no comments

P.S hopefully my DIL Sona's will not think I am crazy if I do overreact ...Thank God they will not live with us😆

Cant wait for the write up of Fusion Tia😉

I agree somewhat. Firstly, If kids are little, yes many mothers freak out. I did too, when my bachaas were babies. now, they are in 7th and 2nd grade. I worry.. yes. but not freak out and act like a madwoman. Fever of 104 happens as it did when they were little. We do what we can to bring the fever down and anyone visiting.. their advice is taken into consideration. Medical science is different from some of the gharelu ilaajs out there. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. but reducing a high fever.. can only come down by medicine which sonakshi gave him and then cold bath/shower. Secondly, Dev is married to a Dr. who is taking care of him, the best she can. a MIL can not barge into a newlywed's bedroom in the middle of the night and start going crazy, reprimanding the DIL for taking care of her husband.. who is not a child! Ishwari was downright rude, insulting and speaking in GKB language that Sonakshi wasn't even a real doctor and hence shouldn't be touching or have any say in Dev's treatment. That's ignorant and not motherly at all!!! I am a mother too, but can't related to Ishwari and her love at all.

HI all... I thought there would be so much drama and hence did not watch yesterday's episode at all. I thing I will refrain from watching for the next ten days or so and make do by visiting the forum and reading the updates. I believe that Ishwari agreed to the marriage because she was hurt by what her son told her in a drunken stupor.. she was not so worried about Dev marrying Natasha because she knew that he was not in love with her. But she knows that Dev is in love with Sona and cannot function without her in his life.

That having been said, I dont know whether any educated modern girl would put up with so much interference and hostility from her in laws. If I put myself in Sona's position, I would have first discussed this issue with my husband and if cant bear it anymore probably have called a time out till we find a mid path. I am hoping (against hope) that the day is not far away when Sona opens her heart and speaks her mind to Dev at least, if not the rest of the Dixit family. How can someone walk into their bedroom at 1 AM and demand to know whats happening!!!

When Sona was injured in Diwali, not once did Ishwari go and ask her how she was feeling!

It was pretty evident that Ishwari doesn't give two hoots about Sona. When both Dev and Sona were out on the street, she was worried and gave Bijoy a lecture. When only Sona was out of home at 12 o'clock at night, she was busy celebrating her precious son's birthday and did not spare a thought.

When Sonakshi got injured, the only thing that bothered her was that Dev did not dump his injured wife and went to temple with her. When Dev got sick, she got mad at Sonakshi for closing her eyes for 5 minutes.

So Ishwari is not a mother. She is a miser with a golden goose that she keeps in delusion so that he keeps laying eggs only for her.
