Ishwari's "Maa ke pallu se" and "Mamma's boy" were very intentional, deliberate and silent slapping words to Sonakshi. Probably for both the reasons of her asking the Asha Maa issue and also calling her mamma's boy thing. But Sonakshi had never herself come to ishwari to tell both the stuff, it was ishwari herself who had meddled herself in that.
In short, I did not like the speech that Ishwari gave. Wiping my tears is a far fetched thought... I was totally emotionless...
But what sonakshi's speech you have written Sargesh, I really cried... I honestly did. The exact pain that sonakshi must be feeling, I felt that in your words, and I cried... Unabashed, Seamless tears... I sooo wish sonakshi could speak those words. I wish she could address her woes too. I wish they could see the daughter in law with a daughter's eye. Or I wish Sonakshi could build her own world in that house with Dev.
But for Dev, he is the same symbolism of that swing that is now kept for public amusement. He keeps on moving to and fro... Once amusing his mother and then his wife, then again his mother and then again his wife. And when you do not understand his movement, you get hurt badly just like that swing that repeatedly hurted Dev because he couldn't understand how to move around that swing.
And when the swing (dev) has hurted repeatedly, it is finally thought for that it is not fit for anyone's personal use, they have finally kept him in the open, whoever pleases to have time with it, can have it. But the only two people who would not use it will be the same two people who were the first hand dealers with this swing. Sonakshi and Ishwari.
Dev is finally tired of pleasing maa and biwi, he says sorry and keeps moving. He doesn't gives those huge concerns of pleasing either of the two. He says thank you and sorry and leaves.
And Sonakshi who stands at the balcony of their room keeps on silently looking at her dream (swing and Dev both in this personification) being used by everyone. All are enjoying with it /him without her. And she is not a part of this family's emotional connect. Because just like the swing, Dev is not in her personal space anymore.
Sleeping together only doesn't count to the emotional connect.
I am sorry, but I have slowly started disconnecting with this show only. Feeling terrible for sonakshi. And for dev once in a while. Why I don't connect with ishwari, is long forgotten. I just don't connect with her for a long time now.
