I now know why this Rhea-Ayaan track was brought in. Remember Neha advised Rhea to not get carried away by romantic BS and choose someone, who can actually afford to express love without limitations? Now this Ayaan is going to turn out to be a bad guy and through him these creatives are going to prove how "wrong" it is of Neha to wish for a certain life, instead of being "understanding". They got to "tame" Neha for daring to voice out her wishes, for her own space, for some romance and grandeur in her life. So they decide to reduce such a beautiful layered character like Neha to a cheap vamp, who plots behind people's backs.
Neha was always clear about what she wanted from her marriage with Ranveer. That guy married her knowing what she expects from him. He even took up a better paying job for her sake with her brother's help, but after marriage chose to put her last in his priority list. And Dev, instead of teaching Neha to earn, he wants her to beg from him all the time. It feeds his ego to be the provider! I don't even want to talk about the narcissistic mother Eeshwari!
So yeah, Neha must be proved wrong for she is a girl, that too a girl with wishes and dreams. She needs to learn that as a girl she can only wish for a roof on her head and food in her plate. She needs to know her place and beg her husband to take her back. Such a sad journey for such a beautiful feisty character. It really makes me sad when I think of what they are doing to her character.
