I know most of us are not happy with the current track for different reasons .Many have blamed Dev for various reasons and to some extent it was right but are we being fair when we say he was not concerned about her safety

Dev sent a car to pick her up from a 5 star hotel .A 5 star hotel is considered to be pretty safe as long as you are in the hotel lobby.On the other hand we saw how Sona 's father sent her out of the home at 2 in the night .She did not have her phone nor money in her hand .Being with Dev in the middle of the night doesn't guarantee safety .Along with that we saw how immature Sonakshi was who preferred to stay at roadside rather than going home or to an hotel

Bijoy and Sona were spared from criticism and they were not questioned about their love towards each other or Dev .In fact Ishwari raised a valid point when she questioned Bijoy for his carelessness but she was blamed for insulting Bose family.

Are we being fair when we have different rules for different characters .

P.S I am not referring to other incidents like cake cutting or Ishwari.This is only about safety

In fact, the way Sonakshi went with Dev on the night of confession and no one in the house even noticed was pretty odd too.

overall, what Bijoy did wasnt safe... overall what Dev is doing isnt very unsafe either

However, think about it... they were both arguing and not able to settle their differences in the house... They were both desperate to fix it though. That was pretty evident to Mr & Mrs Bose - you with me? He 'threw' the out of the house to give them a neutral space of sorts. Sonakshi did the silly thing of risking to walk on those streets at night (and in fact the couple slept on the roadside in the month of october.. I am surprised they didnt catch a cold!). Mr & Mrs Bose were equally worried. Sona & Dev could have simply sat in their verandah and sorted the differences. They have afterall danced in the rain over there. And they were together...

Today, what Dev is doing is, he knows his wife is waiting and he knows she hasnt quite heard him on the phone. He needs to go and check on her. Like I said in the other thread, mamaji messed this up big time. Dev should have gone to pick his wife or called the hotel lobby when he got the text that her phone isnt working and then when he realised he wont be going out at all. even after all this, when he calls the driver, would it not make sense to just speak to her once? During separation this guy used to live and breathe to just listen to her voice. Today, the makers took such a stupid U-turn, Dev didnt even ask for the phone to be passed to Sonakshi...

Atleast this is what the viewer in me is so upset about.. More so because, this isnt Dev's real characterisation even

He is obodhro, he isnt careless

Dev used to spend nights outside bose house during his stalking days, where was ishu's valid safety concern that time?

It means that place is safe.

Bijoy asked them to go out of house, not to roam on road. It was their choice to go out of area.

Bijoy throwing them out was suppose to be funny incident, not tragedic. That's only difference between both.

Totally agree with you. when I said having credit cards and a car doesn't guarantee safety on Delhi roads,I was laughed at and ridiculed by some members.

But the same people are blaming Dev for showing no concern for Sonakshi who is in the premises of a secured place. I wonder what danger they foresee with high class security awailable.

For them being on Delhi roads is just fine. I feel it is so because there Bijoy sent them out. And Bijoy is a model father who can do nothing wrong.

Iswari 's question which is highly logical is mocked at because she is Iswari.

I guess people are reluctant to accept Bijoy or Sona at fault.

To me Dev sending the car is quite OK and practical . I find it just the need of the hour.

As far I observed most of the forum member aren't bother abt safety issues... me to bilkul bhi nehi.. when bijoy out DevAkshi from home tab bhi mere liye safety isse nehi thi as DevAkshi were togethe...
For me d most disappointing is dixits behavior towards Sona...how can they behaved so cool else dev... I can understand his dilemma... ok... Sab thik hai...
Bt they start d celebration without Sona??? Isn't it weird???? They should have waited for her..

PS: me a pure DevAkshi lover, not just dev aur just Sona lover..Bt as a DevAkshi lover dev's this behavior hurts me a lot...

I completely agree as usual😆...in fact that road rom was not at all funnly / convincing 4 me ..it was stupid kiddish..on sonakshi's part..how stupid is it to walk on road whether.@ midnight... delhi mumbai it doesnt matter all r equally unsafe now..

havng said that yestyd dev's actions were lil disturbing 4 me at least cake cutng n all

jab koi aaj ki date mein apne hi ghar mein safe nahi feel karta (phir chahe kitne bhi cctv cam laga lo...3 times toh mere hi ghar ki parking mein chori ho chuki hain ..car batteries ki😆) toh bahar safety toh bhool hi jao.

Aur main Dev ko defend nahi karungi bz he was wrong ,Usse mama yaa maa se permission lene ki kya zaroorat thi.

mujhe kal Sona ke aane se pehle cake cut karna achha nahi laga...Dev se aisa expect nahi kiya tha.

For me on both occasions both were wrong ...

I really am a freak when it comes to security ...i just cant sleep unless i know everyone out there frm my family is at home ...n i get d same treatment i reach home at watever time i never forget to make call n tell everyone dat i have reached safely ...

So for me bijoy shud not have send dev n sona out at 2 for watever reasons (although dey have been out on deir own at tyms bfr also) n yest dev was wrong in staying at home while sona is waiting out ...how much ever excoted your mother is u just need to say i m going to get my wife dats it ...

I remember when i was working at tyms i used to get late ..although office provided me wid cab but of its anything after 10 my husband made it a point to personally come and pick me up

At tyms i dont understand y ishwari is treated like some fragile doll...mamaji n dev both treat her as if she is mom ki gudiya dat too in semi molten state ...

But den again ishwari was wrong for me dat day also ..n she was wrong yest too ...may b i just cant get myself to think ishwari is right
