Dev(il)Ish

After thinking and thinking in circles about Dev's fiasco yesterday, I have a question.

Ishwari knows her insecurities relating to Dev and Sona's affection. But somehow, she has been maintaining the facade and been not-so-bad/ not-so-good to Sona. But her son's proximity to his wife's family shook her hard and she started her sulking drama.

So is it possible to accept your daughter-in-law without accepting her parents?

Dev said Asha maa kehna galti hai, to Sona se shaadi galti kyon nahi hai?

I am wondering he said this not just to appease his mother but also because for him, Sona might be family but her parents are not! And does that mean is prefectly fine with his mother accepting Sona, but no entry for her parents!

This maa beta jodi is - "Dev(il) Ish". Kya soch ke naam rakhey hain! 😡
