Thanks for the much needed post ,was really upset.A big hug!
Personally have been in situations when inlaws won't respect your parents that hurts the most.
And whatever Sona says Ishwari finds a way to ridicule her.How long can Sona take it?On the top it looks like Dev is on her side but he is just superficial(especially today). As you said Dev is so concerned with his mothers feelings what about Sona?
Sam said in Saumiee's post Ishawari has to drop this low to find the light. But I am not sure it is going to happen, she has seen Dev during break up but nothing changed, she took it totally in a different direction.I don't know what will change her thinking?

The toy promo of ishwari had such a negative impact that they pulled it off air merely after airing it few times. Today's episode was like that and its negative impact is so much that either the makers need to sort this issue inside Dev's head justifiably making him reason or simply forget about this.

But I feel he will do some blunder about this the next time he will meet the Bose family. This might turn out to be one of the reasons later for Sona to question Dev if and ever she is questioned about helping her family without letting him know.

🤗😃👏Nice post Deepa and welcome back 🤗 😃👏
Since you are not regular nowadays so I take pleasure in welcoming you again and again!😛

Today is the episode that I would definitely ,100 % sure never wanna look back.
For once I felt if there has been an editing mistake or a blooper as they say😭
But Nah...Dev did this in the name of unquestionable, unreasonable and groundless service to his GOD!
I take pride in saying that..I hate you for this Dev! Period

Coming to Mama's example wrt Hindu mythology -
To be frank I don't really abide by what was right and what was wrong in all the yugs gone-by.
With each by-gone yugs and ages the severity of misconduct ,wrong doings and crime increases ----and thus the extent of patience and punishment.
This in turn will call for a new set of rules and principles.

how can we still blindly follow what was fair at that point ?

with due to respect to our hindu mythology and the various learning it has left for us.
I feel it is totally fair to appreciate and respect what all was written and said about our Gods, diety and heroes and how their acts, thinking, judgement have become equitable in their respective yugs.
But at times it becomes unfair to apply same set of principles and fundamentals in today's modern world wherein we have a different levels of sins all together.

But just for the sake of justifying myself according to Hindu Mythology only--
we have 330 millions Gods with different names and each one is rightfully and concurrently called as Devi or Devta.
If GOD doesn't take offense in their simultaneous existence and being referred by same word then whats wrong with Dev's very own GOD- Ishwari?

Hey Deepa, today finally I am awake and saw your post.. but my son just got up so pasting my comment from one of the posts..sorry,wanted to write more but you know how kids are, please share your views too😊

I couldn't think anything for 10 mins after even the episode ended 😕 Ishwari was upset but does it mean she will not inform Sona about guests coming home and when Sona asked about same Ishwari gave a big lecture of work and worship. She just didn't want any kind of interference from Sona as somewhere in heart she knows that Sona is too good and she can handle everything so well and to make her feel like an outsider, she did it intentionally. Why can't this lady come out of her past,I understand she did a lot of sacrifices for her kids but now they have everything so why at every situation she has to talk about past incidents, pathetic.
And our Dev babu,I am so disappointed with him, just few days back he was saying to Sona" mai tumhara saaya banke rehana chahta hu" and now said again to his mother "koi apne saaye se bhi bhaag sakta hai.. When it comes to his mother,he forgets everything,he forgot about Bose family's love, care, affection and how easily he said that he will not say Maa to Sona's mother, last scene was a big disappointment..😭😭 I just didn't get this today, how CV's are going to justify this

Aww dear may you have a relaxing sleep with your kiddo 🤗

Frankly speaking I have always envied the writers of this show for keeping Ishwari so contradictory because every justification she gives seems perfect and even today she did made sense , though the original reason of discomfort with Sona's presence is hidden !! I could have given you nice justification if am not clouded with anger by that last scene..Today's episode just proved Ishwari to be mega manipulator without moving a muscle 😆 and Dev is still that 8 year boy fearing of hurting his mother.

I just hope CVs just stop this manipulation more and start showing Dev sensing something soon with Ria's marriage else it will be complete slap in the face for ardent viewers who kept hope against hope justifying every action of every characters.

Hey good to see you here today :) forum is on fire..

I am disturbed by various responses here ..and dont know how to react..some really extreme ones ..even you are quite angry..and I understand it completely ..no hope for any positivity tonight LOL sighh

But it hurts more then what Dev said.. the kind of hate I see is more heartbreaking..specially loosing faith from Dev Sona..or not enjoying Devakshi anymore..

Not gonna have peaceful sleep tonight sighh

BTW I like your post as always <3 ..you write so well :)

Thank you Deepa for making this post today. I watched the episode just now and wished if you would have made a post to throw some postivity in here :) and tada..i come to the forum and see your post
For me today Dev's action was worse than the breakup...it is that ugly and you are right it really touched me also in a personal way. I hope this opens up eyes of lots of mothers who do the same thing to their sons. As soon as son stays in wifes house for a few days on holiday or a function the mothers insecurity starts and they leave no opportunity to show displeasure like Ishwari..I have seen so many instances such as this and I kind of loose respect for such people.

Maa is the purest form of calling any lady with love and repsect.. I even call some of my closest friends moms as maa.. Its just the best way to address when you love them immensely. Dev didnt think even for a second that Sona started calling his mom ma even before marriage.
I do not think Sona will come to know of this soon as else we would have seen her bengal tigress form in tomorrow precap. I hope she doesnt witness this talk between son and maa as something in her might die beyond repair. Imagine any girl listening to this !!
A big hug to you tooo...

Read and replied 😊 What you said is so true..Religious references are very volatile and sensitive if not handled with care especially when you are comparing with flawed humans like Ishwari, Dev, Sona, etc etc... Be human enough to accept and show that ishwari is indeed grey and need help instead of glossing it over and over.

Excuse me today for my crude language today.
I am dead tired mentally what with the spoilers, then the promo and then this episode.
Neither am I in any sane state of mind, nor am I going to weight my words and use logics okay.
Nothing much to say today except:

Every dog has a day.

Some day that dog has to be Ishwari whom Dev runs after and manaaofies her, and in that process hurt sonakshi.

Then the next day that dog has to be sona whom now Dev chases and manaaofies. And in this process Ishwari is hurt.

And the cycle goes on. And Dev is not even a dog, coz he never had a day since he fell in love.
God knows which specie do I call that poor chap as.
Any idea?

Doggie ka baby 😆 Sorry sweetie sometimes humor is the best conceal to disappointment 🤗

On a serious note Aazeen, just like how every wife have a responsibility of treating inlaws family as her same and taking every digs and taunts with patience for the betterment of future until it reaches the point of no hope, every husband have a responsibly of equally balancing his love and time especially when he is in the joint family. Just like I mentioned in another reply, my anger for Dev is not because he keeps his mother above all but because he can use his bright side of brain just to see his mother's worry and turn blind eye towards everything else which is very disturbing from a wife POV. A successful family comprises of compromises from both sides 😳

It was indeed sad day for krpkab. cv's made Dev character so week.
You have pointed out interesting thing that Dev notices his mother not happy within a day..but how come he is not realising sona's feeling even after she was vocal about her feelings. I think Dev deliberately ignoring her feelings.

I was adoring devakshi as couple. After today's scene, I don't think I will be able to connect them.
