I don't see anything wrong if Sona enjoys Dev's money or enjoys the comfort he is providing .After marriage it's their money not hers or his ...self respect should not come in the way ...I don't why in Indian serial a middle class marries a rich guy yet they show her not spending his money thinking about self respect and there will be no change in her lifestyle

Does this happen in real life ?No matter how honest and khudgar a girl is over time they plan their future keeping both their Income in mind and their lifestyle changes .

If his family has rights on his money then his wife n kids have equal rights if not more .She is independent but there is nothing wrong in spending his money for her needs or on her family .

It might not be completely related to your question but I wanted to share my opinion on her rights

I completely agree that there is nothing wrong for Sonakshi to spend her husband's money, but provided he has given her access to it. It has to be an initiative from his end to give her that access.

Last week he was confused when she said at the tea stall, that she goes to places only where she can afford, but dint say, why do u have to worry about affording now ?

Yeah there is nothing wrong but i am wondering how will neha realize if sona keeps spending money.. It will further solidify nehas thoughts that sona is licky as she married rich dev... So cvs will have to show some scenes where they show sona's modesty.

One way could be during riyas wedding shopping .. Sona may prefer to buy something that is nondesigner unlike dixit sisters... They have to show some scenes .. Else the only other option is dev going bankrupt... I dont want them to wait that long

I think this whole business venture using her own money n raising funds on her own without taking Dev's help or using his contacts will make Dixit family realise Sona is not after Dev's money.

He was definitely surprised to see her reaction but that was not the time for him to confront her as he had bigger issue to resolve .

I feel its not him but her who need to realise after marriage there is nothing as hers or him .Its theirs which includes problems too .

I may be minority but i definitely dont want her to prove anyone anything and morover I never find its right when either of the spouse start dividing everything as yours and mine .

If Sona follows that then Dev should do that too .Its better she opens a joint account and both deposit every month some money for household maintenance .Rest of the salary they can use the way they want and neither of them shouldnt interfere in what their spouse do with the remaining part .In that way both can lead a independent life .I would never support such arrangements but thats one way to prove she is independent but in a way i feel she would be pushing Dev away .

Neha's statement really baffled me , she actually thinks Sona is happy in the marriage because she is living a comfortable lifestyle
Neha has no clue about a marriage and what sacrifices it takes on both to make the marriage successful .
according to Neha if living comfortable enough then the woman is happy in her marriage yet she speaks about a time when she loved Ranveer and married him does she not know that DevAKshi actually love each other , they have been through pain of separation and now they value each other they respect their partners they are in love with each other
I'm not really sure how CV's will bring about Neha's realization that money does not make a marriage work it only brings less hassles and maybe smooth running in a family financially
