What an awesome episode again! Amazing depiction of human psychology!
The episode begins with Dev and Sonakshi lovingly talking about Fairy-tales and how she was always wishing for such things to happen in her life (You getting injured and dev taking care of her was in our wishlist as well, Dear Sona😆)
How Dev is her prince charming (Indeed, a real prince charming though😳) and Dev just smiles on what she says..
The episode ends with Dev asking Sona to come out of her fairy-tales. The very fairy-tale he was happy to be a part of in the morning!
I am in awe of the way the writers incorporate the smallest of human tendencies in the show. What we find adorable one moment can be irksome the very next moment.
What was an adorable trait for Dev was looked as a reason for not understanding his psyche in the evening.
Sonakshi is shocked to see that Dev can actually cause loss for someone. Can use his power to cause trouble to someone.
"Mujhe bhi lag raha hai ke ye bura sapna hai, aap aise nahi hai"
"Mai aisa hi hu, jab baat meri family par aati hai"
How things fall in a complete circle in this show👏 Here, characters don't turn good 'overnight' . . the basic personality never changes. Yes, Dev is the hero and he is flawed. Since, day One he can go to any extent, be selfish when it comes to his family. He is that protective.
He did it with Sona, with Ritwick and now with Ranveer,
We never saw him rectifying it though, but now the time has come. Sonakshi will help him balance his thoughts.
What Dev is doing is applying force on Brittle relationships, actually not even relationships on brittle situations. Brittle materials, in physics, are those which break into pieces when additional force is applied on them. The situation here was so so delicate and Dev used his power impulsively to make things worst.
Dev doesn't see right and wrong, he said it himself. . when it comes to his family.
Guys, if you are looking for the conventional show where the ML is an angel always, idealist, making no mistakes, this show is not for you!
What he did was selfish and insensitive and it shocked Sona. He asks Sonakshi to be practical, Sonakshi says for nth time that talking could sort out the issue but Dev, being Dev and being someone who has seen the worst colours of the world in his childhood believes it is all BS. That talking and communicating wont sort anything out and some display of power is a must, and those who hurt his family will be hurt.
I dont think Sonakshi is being impractical but infact is real. In my personal life, I have come across both kind of ideologies.. People like Sona who believe in giving time to relationships, in mending broken ties and People like Dev who think closing the chapter with the last page in their hands is the best option.
You can't say who is right here and who is not.
Coming to the first fifteen minutes of the episode😳
Dev hears Sona's voice and lifts her up to take her to the room. Loved how GKB was the one who splashed water on Sona's burn first.👏 Fresh change gkb! Though she was making her patent faces later😆 And also loved how mamaji followed them till they were inside.
Dev Sonakshi scene was a bliss The less I say about it, the more its beauty stays intact. ❤️ Dev's concern was so real!
Sonakshi says the burn is the pehli nishani and Dev wonders how she finds positivity in everything😳😳 This same positivity irks you in negative times Dev😆
Kichu bhaiya brings soup for them😳 How Dev caresses her hair and moves her hair strand to come close to her! Aww!
The morning breakfast scene was so so beautiful! How Sonakshi is all playful😳😆
Ishwari thank god, understood it was okay for Dev to be with Sona at this time. She is disturbed by it though. That Dev has to divide his attention.
She leaves without letting him know and Dev becomes tensed.
Woah! Ish is a magician with words. .She said all the right things when she came back, if you write them down Aisa lagega sahi to kaha
Beta you need to be with her, she needs your time, late ho raha tha to mai chali gayi. . .
But the tone with which she says it Makes Dev feel guilty. Amazing manipulation.👏 Dev always wants to be the ideal son and husband and as much as Ish dislikes his divided time, he despises it too. He wants to balance between everything and this makes him disturbed that giving attention to one, takes it away from the other.
The next scene where Sonakshi is sleeping and then positions herself to rest on his lap was the most beautiful scene ever!❤️ So many emotions,
Sona's innocence and her being unaware about everything, Dev feeling the love for her yet that disappointment of not being an ideal son tonight.
