Dreams of Sonakshi will be fulfilled... This is the healing time! Dev is too caught up by Ishwari's guilt... Today I actually felt a tear for him! The guy doesn't get a chance/ounce of happiness..and it's been for years.. He's not allowed to see beyond Ishwari...

But things will change, Sonakshi will be the reason for that.. I have faith , they will be a couple that make descions together ...

Just felt like penning this down ...

Thanks for the positive take. As I mentioned it is not about decision taking together but Dev's attitude here that I do have problems with.

I think all dreams will not come true..you have to face disappointment at times. But still we need to keep working towards achieving dreams.
In this world 90% woman are sacrificing. .knowingly or unknowingly. its not just India but I am considering whole world. I feel it's a nature made woman strong enough to sacrifice. woman is home maker/breaker, through her patience, she tames her husband and family. One day definitely her sacrifice will be rewarded and she will be highly respected for that.

Coming to serial, i am skeptical about Dev taking decision on his own. I think if person is confident about his partner to be his side on his decision, then there is no harm in taking his own decision. now it's all depend upon how sonakshi treats this. I am waiting for tomorrow episode. I want to see sonakshi little vocal about her disappointment not just with Dev and with family too. If you don't convey, people will never understand.

I get what your saying about Dev's attitude, he simply can't think straight I feel, It's like a feeling of being in a cage and your trapped!
Attitude is something one has, when they know that what they say, will affect a choice/ a desicion, I think he's needs to understand this point that it's not only about him now , it's Sonakshi' who is tied to him as well, and he has to think of her first, even before him now! This is half the battle won...

I think that's what the episode is about today, dreams and reality. Both Sona and Neha had dreams of living their kind of fairy tale, but the reality is different. Their princes are entangled in family responsibilities and are not able to give them the life they deserve. So what do the princesses do now?! They can either be patient, smart and courageous OR they can be angry, sad and resentful.
Hope Sona will tackle this situation like a real princess and hope Dev will grow up soon, because even a super girl has a threshold limit.

Thanks yes even I want Sona and Neha to be real princesses but even princesses have limits if their prince continue to be Frogs.

This post of mine was not meant to say that Sona should force Dev to go on their honeymoon when his mom is sick, or that she cannot be angry, or that she has to hold grudge against Dev for being callous because life is all about understanding especially in a marriage.

All I am saying is Dev could have handled it a little better is that too much to ask for ?. He could have told Easwari yes he will talk to Sona go to Sona and say the same thing I am sure she would have understood.

P.s for people who think how is this different from when Sona kept a fast which included no intimacy let me tell you what
Sona agreed to the fast not knowing it involved the no intimacy clause ( correct me if I am wrong here's)and it would have been embarrassing to go and tell your mother in law that she could not uphold the fast because of that..let alone mother in law I don't think you can even tell that to your own mom

Dev knew he and Sona were going on a honeymoon unless the definition of honeymoon has changed it does involve intimacy so what Sona did at the fast of taking a independent decision and Dev taking this independent decion is like comparing apples to oranges.

Thanks everyone for your inputs

Peace out

I just got off work and saw the episode, felt really bad for Sona. Dev made a decision on his own to cancel the HM, he didn't even think about Sona once, no value of her feelings. I hate it when a partner make an unilateral decision and tell you later that I did not have time to discuss about it earlier or you won't understand why I changed my decision. Maybe it's the reality of male dominated society where a male takes female for granted.

I think in the case of Sona, she does not seek material things... her character is shown to be a very balanced one, for the most part, and she is pretty clear on her priorities. I do not think that she is one who will run away from the challenges of the Dixit house. All she wants, and she has said it multiple times over to Dev, just needs his support and his cooperation. The problem is he is on a one way street and creates problems for his relationship with Sona.

Sona's dreams are Dev's dreams, her reality is Dev's reality and she is well equipped to handle it. She knows fully well... she wants the Dev who comes to her for support... Like in the past, Dev took Sona's help to resolve Neha's problem of the lehenga... he also said it that she is the solution to all his problems.. but he just does not remember her at the right times... as he is weighed in under the emotional blackmail of his family. He does not think. .. his soulmate is not far away, within reach, by his side... but still his one way street decisions continue.
