I Know I know😆😆
It requires nerves of steel to handle such an episode😡. No wonder the mood is so down and out in the forum.

Let me about it

Okay, I wont give any explanation or justification for any character. 🤔Just a few points that crossed my mind:

* the hand that provides, will always be held high👍🏼. Even if you know the receiver doesnt deserve it, but providing is your duty. Ishwari just wanted Dev to provide for Vicky👍🏼. Deserving or not is never a question. Provide when you have plenty and it wont hurt.

* Dev knows Sona is right. But it is one of those moments when you cannot stand by your wife and you EXPECT your wife to understand.

* Sona, there is something called 'SPACE'. Every married couple needs to give that space to each other. You wont learn it in 4 days of married life, its a skill you actually pick up slowly.

*Ishwari was not wrong in asking Dev to give vicky that job. Her only source of income/provider is Dev. She needs to by hook or crook get it out of him and provide for the hand that supported her (mamaji) when there was no support.

* Ishwari using the word patni se, patni bahar wali, wo dusre ghar ki, not right. This lady will eat her words in 2 months time.

* Dev and Sona have done some early blunders,in this relationship. Sona has entered that house only with the support of Dev's love and that is shaking at present. She wanna do everything and super fast and gain acceptance, trying to prove to all that Dev was not wrong in choosing her.

There you go .. The wisdom speaks here😳 What else can I add here ?😆

Ps: I have the personal experience of being in sona's place and watching my husband provide and provide and provide...and provide and provide, as Dev does and it hurts during the first year of marriage. But gradually, when you learn to do it with your heart, it doesnt hurt as much...even if there are idiots like vicky standing in front of us.

@bold: 😲😲 OMG...No wonder we clicked 🤣 I dont want to get into details here but my friend we deserve to hug it out just for this 🤗

PSS: Ishwari expecting Dev- Vicky to work even after they are gone oh...o...oh...duh...dialogue writer, dont put your put foot in the mouth.

haha that was definitely an "ouch" moment 😆

Cvs are walking on a tight rope now. They need to do the balancing act. Zero expectations is the way out.

Exactly..these crude realities are even hard for us to digest and the normal audiences are bound to retreat ..they better churn out balance episodes soon to cut some slack for the viewers.

I am loving this post marriage track as i am getting to see the complex nature of leads here .No one is perfect here and everyone has their set of insecurities .This is the harsh reality of life and its presented in a beautiful way.My only complain is how they avoid showing the intimacy between the leads. That's totally a different topic though 😆😆

With actor like Supriya you get confused whether to hate or appreciate Ishwari .She is the best fit for Ishwari's role .

I thought of sharing my thoughts about the Friday episode and its quite different from most of the people here.

When Sona was saying she supports Dev i could see the pride in her eyes that Dev considered her decision over Ishwari's and she was supporting her decision indirectly not Dev .

When Dev changed his decision we could see the transformation from supportive wife to angry one as his decision was changed and it was no longer her decision. Supporting him was not the priority and the issue was no more about Vicky .It was about her and Ishwari.

I dont blame her for the outburst in the precap as she is not over the breakup yet and her fears of losing him again to Ishwari is evident in her actions. Subconsciously, she is competing with Ishwari at every possible level .

She has always been insecure of her relationship with Dev .Prior to confession she almost lost Dev to Natasha and was always doubtful if she was the perfect partner to Dev .When Dev avoided speaking to his mom about their relationship we saw her vulnerable side .Unfortunately she was not properly assured by Dev .She badly needed to hear what she is to him .During the breakup phase she got to see how much she effects him and I am sure internally she would be happy to know he is not over her yet 😳 .

Breakup was the last nail in the coffin and her fears came true .Post breakup we have not seen them having a meaningful conversation on how this breakup effected them especially her .Her insecurities of losing him again is still there and that needs to be addressed by Dev. Like she says she tries to be a strong lady in front of the whole world but she is as vulnerable as Dev .

Even though Dev claims he is bad at expressing his feelings ..we have seen him constantly voice out his love for her , his pain of seeing her with Riwick and fear of losing her .I would like to see Sona doing the same .She needs to vent out and at least in front of Dev she needs to stop faking "I am strong and independent girl " act .

I wish makers take this route where we them addressing DIL insecurities along with MIL's .Dev had a bigger role to play as he is the most secure among the three and he is the only one who can assure both the ladies how important they are to him .

P.S. I might be over analyzing the situation but this is something i wanted to share from a long time .

Thank you 😊

oh yes we all have that intimacy complaint ..you are not alone😆 and I will wait for the AC drama to unfold to open my third eye for that stupidity😆..just send Dev to some unavoidable business trip leaving Sona here if you want to delay the SR..but AC not working?!

Frankly if not for Supriyaji , this character would have turned to typical Vamp type Saas by this time..hats off to her and her acting for making me see her side of the story too..She is fabulous as Ishwari..no doubt 👏

You have brought out some pretty interesting perspective👍🏼..to an extend it does make sense too..Let me wait for some episodes to apply this logic but surely you have made me watch Sona in different light after this post !! Even the halwa making scene sides with your theory..hmm pretty interesting..kudos to you for making me think😆 I still doubt if she is fighting with Ishwari unconsciouly or her own inner demons of insecurity from the breakup?!

But I surely agree with you on Sona needing to open up about her love and feelings to Dev..except for that collar holding "This is not your decision to make..even I love you" break up scene Sona's feelings were never explained in front of Dev..That will be a delight to watch, after all this girl have yearned for his love even before he had a proper look on her !!

Two insecure woman and Dev in the middle ?! 😲 now thats the perfect balance 🤣

You are definitely not over analyzing but brought a new insight which may turn true😳 Thank you for that !!

Very true lata. Never judge anyone. Circumstances are different. Situations vary and coping skills vary.

This story is someones dream and someones best belief that he/she has a winner , but some how when his belief did not churn the numbers in the TRP chart, their faith is shaking. No one will let their dream die easily. So hoping they continue to churn out episodes pleasing to the masses.

Very true Asha. As a viewer, We all have our set of complaints wrt to story execution but none of us know their circumstances like off-screen politics, channel pressure for trps etc... I just hope they bring little balance in episodes with some light moments since all recent episodes were filled with full of drama and negativity. Too much of reality also will be very difficult to digest.😊

Congratulations to you getting married adjusting to a new environment is already horrible but when in laws make it unbearable its a nightmare it takes strong woman like you to stand and go through that horrible phase and at the same time making the marriage stronger .
recently I read an article where Sonakshi finds out about her health issues and decides to walk away from Dev for me that is crap a marriage is not some game no matter what the reasons are the woman are normally emotionally stronger than men so in bad phases too the couple should be able to work through their problems walking away is no solution .

Hi Deepa - just wanted to say a big thanks for your post. I am a regular silent reader of your thread and have always enjoyed your take on the episodes.
You and most of the writers in this thread bring in lot of positive vibe here. Kudos!! and a big thanks for that.

I am not so good with words and it difficult for me articulate like you all do.

However just wanted to give my two cents - Sona, in addition to trying to fit into the new environment, I feel the reason she is trying to help around is also because of what Dev earlier told her during the dating phase " You are solution to all my problems"

Subconsciously she has taken that seriously and is trying to give suggestion for each and everything.

What do you think?

I never had a problem with their story telling Latha but the execution could have been way better especially knowing the makers capability in the first 100 episodes. The rushed patch up and rushed marriage has definitely missed to hit the bulls eye. I am sensing some major interruption by the channel especially with two shows going off air that time and KRPKAB team had to squeeze too much in too little time. Frankly the damp patch up is required for showing the after marriage insecurities but they could have elaborated their theory a bit for all viewers to connect instead of us making posts after post highlighting the hidden reality 😆

@bold: Exactly !! 👏 Nobody is perfect and the show can be enjoyed perfectly if we dont thrust our own expectation and interpretation of picture perfect human being on them !!

As I mentioned in the post, I won't force this way on anyone but merely pointed to understand why Sona is maintaining silence instead of walking out..Some prefer fighting a battle before giving up and some just walk out thinking the battle is not worth fighting for at all..Each is correct in there own shoes so we can't judge them by their actions.
I generally refrain from jumping into conclusions based on spoilers and segments because it can turn out completely opposite in the episodes😆..but if this is true, am sure makers have some justification for the same..lets wait and watch😳

Hello dear😊 ... very glad to see so many of you voicing out your opinions shedding your inhibitions..firstly thank you for that and credit should be given to all the wonderful people inside this post for their healthy discussion..😳

I dont think Sona have literally taken that sentence for granted.. I have not seen her voluntarily going out of her way to help Dev without he requesting her, be it Neha's Legenga issue, or Vicky's job. She have always given that space and freedom to him and thats why this forceful "help" felt out of place for Sona's character. Somewhere down the line she felt horrible for Dev's humiliation in front of the whole family and wanted to be his side to share his pain..but poor girl didn't expect the level of haunted past buried inside Dev which is even beyond her to console and the inevitable happened.

Lets see today's episode to explore more about this 😳
