I would firmly decide to stand by my husband...and be vigilant to the extend to be able to foresee any real damage... emotional, financial or otherwise but I will also stay quiet and not rush into bad books of everybody... if questioned, just say, please ask Dev as I cannot take this decision alone... it is political defence line...

Atleast you and your partner are on same page and you know what to expect next...

It works in long run but the fact no matter how much you desire, you cannot change the situation for better... everyone's karma is in action and let it play out...

Me..I would not have spoken word specially when Dev wanted privacy..I would go to silent mode until he realises and start conversing.

I would join my work ASAP and I would keep busy myself, so that no need to Infront of any one and called as kala saya. But definitely keep on eye on the family to know and aware of things happening. If they need help, always be there for them. But I won't poke my nose. I would be diplomatic.

Some time we need to rise ourself even Infront of husband so that no one can take degrade you. When family sees husband is respecting me, automatically family members start giving respect.

Sona shud stay away from kitchen politics,Ishwari and GKB as much as possible,shud join her clinic asap,not try to solve anyone's issue...

stop giving advice to Dev., talk to Dev politely ,be friendly with him.

I have a question here actually. According to our sanaatan culture a wife's role amongst many is also of a 'karaneshu mantri' which means advising like a minister.

Why should Sona not advise Dev and instead just 'talk to Dev politely' or 'be friendly with him' ? I want to see how we react if tomorrow Sona, due to Baba or Dada's business problem, shouts at Dev when Dev will have his best interest in his mind to help Sona at that. 😛 Will we also say why doesn't Dev just talk to her politely and be friendly with him instead of giving advise ? Or we will curse Sona for shouting at Dev when Dev just wanted good for her 😃

I said so becoz this is not the right time to give advice to Dev...abhi tak toh Sona bhi Ishwari ke taunts se samajh gayee hogi that Ishwari ne abhi bhi usse accept nahi kiya hai,usse ghar ka member nahi manti hai.Atleast guess toh kar hi sakti hai.I dont know how cv's will show ki agar kabhi Sona Dev pe chillaye toh kya hoga?Kuch situations diplomatically handle karni chahiye.

Kya lagta hai Sona ko bhi chillana chahiye tha Dev pe?..i think.Dev ne sahi kiya ki woh uss time wahan se chala gaya.

I want Sona to have a talk with Dev, not this shouting match but an actual discussion that matured people do. She shud tell him what she is going thru - abt Ish, Gkb, Vicki , Neha n then ask him how to tackle his family.

If Dev doesnt change a bit, still shouts at her n leave d discussion, doesn't stop his family's taunts n insults then Sona shud leave the house for few hrs without telling anyone n without mobile. Let Dev panic for a while, the only time he is genuinely concerned about Sona is when he feels she is going away from him. Hopefully this will give a small jhatka to Dev.

N yeah join job back...it will atleast give u a sense of self worth n keep u away from toxic atmosphere.

Atleast infront of Ish, dnt get involved in their family or business matters.

Give gkb some expensive gift...tht will shut her up for few days.

I would not marry Dev in the first place until I am satisfied that he will not throw me out again due to his mother. I want a grown up man not a kid to marry.

Communicating with the husband is essential more than any one else in the house. Pour your anger out, dont fill your body with it, once drained, think calmly and start step by step. Keeping your anger bottled in you and discussing with the husband is not appropriate at all.

Emotional outburst is as important as Communication.
