What would you do if you were Sona-

Can't go crying back to your parents because they did warn you about the intelligence and cultural gap.
Can't come to Vickys or his moms level because you are way more educated to stoop to that level
Can't argue even intelligently with Ishwari as she is a stubborn person who refuses to change with time and clutches on to her previous trophy
We encounter such people all the time in our lives - at home or at work places
So WWYD to keep your sanity and also not to ruin the relation to an extent that there is no going back then
Please pen in your thoughts-

I would not talk to dev and ishwari till they come back to me pleading if I was sona...

I will talk to Dev ..keep on talking till we are aligned to common decision.

Logon to lonely planet and look up some honeymoon destinations. Next stop Victoria secret and then my boss, to let him know I am back for a few days and then will need a week off

I think I would just be there for Dev at this time instead of fighting with him. It is his business and he took a decision against Sona's advice but it is very clear to Sona that he was put under tremendous emotional atyachar by Ishwari. Instead of bringing her ego in the equaltion ( as in the precap), she should step back and give him some space. He has been an astute businessman who is taking a risk. Sona is shown previously to not know about business dealings so she should leave it to Dev. It is pretty obvious that Dev will have financial losses due to this decision but let him deal with it. I think Dev should not have yelled at her but Sona should not have pestered him too. When mamaji sold his wife's jewelery for them, he was not even as rich as Dev to take that loss but he did it for the family. Also, Dev said that he would fix the damage caused by Vicky's inexperience and Sona should trust Dev's capabilities to do that.

I think Sona is capable of handling all this. She just need some time to understand each one of them well. At the current situation she is the only one who understand Dev so well and she can make him understand what is right and what wrong. I would have done the same in a situation like this. They need to become eachother's pillar of strength.

Sona is doing just fine. She is keeping her dignity and her sanity too, under the most adverse circumstances! Time will teach Dev the lesson that Sona is his soulmate and that she had his best interests in mind! The frame in the episode where Dev and Ishwari were facing in opposite directions is the sign of things to come!
