Yep, this is why.

Bijoy is dishing out the same platter that Ishwari is dishing out to Sona, only he is more straight forward.

That's why I kept saying Dev and Sona should concentrate on their life and ignore everyone else.

Now not one, but two pageant is going to start. Kaun banega best bahu and Kaun banega best damad.

After all, no one wants to be husband and wife here.

how true ,if only they could simply do that...even if sona moves the earth itself still ishwari is not going to accept her and only when that realization hits her would she back down plus dev ka patience is reaching its climax as well...am so happy that he is vocal about them ,him,their needs,wishes...but then he is on familiar ground,in familiar setting and has his maa ka approval by his side...the world is bright on his side...

as said this marriage was rushed,issues not cleared ,everything brushed under the carpet...her wound ,her fear and her insecurity that dev will leave her again if ishwari wants has started raising its head only because nothing was bed of roses for her from the day she got married..she was never assured ...she realizes ishwari did it for dev and now her over board attempt to make maa happy...that fear looms in her mind and that is what she is not telling dev...independence is her habit but this need to fit does not stem from some misplaced pride but deep rooted fear...

she never healed before entering this phase and dev does not see it coz as i said all is well in his part of the world...maa happy ,he and sona are married ...

the only way can sona actually quit this banu mein bahu no.1 abhiyaan is when she realizes that she is banging her head against the great wall called ishwari...also i am pretty sure this fast is not going to last..just like dev cannot stay away from her so she cannot and especially not from a sulking dev 😆

As much as we all would like to take the credit ... I do think "great minds think alike" and we do have very sensible CVs who will not deviate from logic for ever. Even if they show something against all our wishes, i have seen inthe past that they do address all thos concerns soon when time is right..

Hope they continue making the characters ask the right questions when the other blunders... Voicing the concerns of all the viewers

The most important thing, in my opinion, in a new marriage is communication. Because it is a new life and new perspective for both of them. It's not easy to change one's lifestyle overnight. No one is psychic who will understand what you are thinking. Dev and Sona need to talk openly to each other and trust each other. Specially Sona. Because she married Dev in a hurry even though her trust is still not there. I am not blaming her for her lack of trust, but she should not have jumped to get married.

But now that the deed is done, they will have to try to bring the comfort level back into their relationship and have to keep other people out. Family is great in their own place. But after marriage, the husband and wife are the primary family. Everyone else is just an extension to the said family.

I agree with you that its high time they started thinking abt themselves...Dev might be able to do that because he is selfish to some extent in nature...but Sona that is going to be a huge problem for her because has an attitude of considering other ppl especially the ones that she considers is close to her and to him...this is the place where its going to back fire big time in their relationship.

Dev is a very possessive character... if she is going to take decisions all by herself he wont like it.. she will loose happiness and peace ...but if she considers him and be with him ...he will listen to her /stand by her too..and they will have lovely marriage but I doubt if that would happen.😭😕

I think now that Sona is in her mother's house, she should discuss her issues with her mother. She is a very wise woman. She will help Sona figure out her way.
