I diasagree actually.

She definitely loves him but love is subjective and has various forms. If I love somebody in a particular way and he loves me differently, doesnt mean they don't love me. They still love me with what they are and have.
Lets say ...Care is a form of love. But so is selfless love, so is sexual love. Likewise there is attachment. You know what happens when love takes form of attachment?
Ishwari's love for Dev is an attachment...usse "moh" hai Dev se..

In simple terms, love says I want you to be happy
Attachment says, I want you to make me happy.

Attachment is fear and dependency...Ishu is dependent on Dev and has fear of losing him. Her love for Dev says..I love you but My own love is empty so you give me love as you are full of it.

PS: this is in simple terms that I wote, in natural laymen terms...not well so unable to write much, maybe I can explain what I am exactly trying to say. Also, another aspect of love is how Psychology defines different forms of love which I want to discuss here..maybe wen I get well.

Pps: reminds me of a song and one of its lone which is my most fav...sunna gehrai k saath aur matlab samajhna..u wil understand Ishuz love a lil frm this.
Mujhse tera moh na chhute, dil ne banaye kitne bahane. Duja koi kya pehchane. Jo tann laage so tanna jaane...

Completely disagree with the post. Never think Iswari does not love Dev. Nor do I agree she sees him as an ATM. Iswari never misutilised Dev's money. Ofcourse the exception is her brother's family to whom she feel indebted. She lives a simple life. She never wears costly saries nor does she spend lavishly on her daughters. Every mother in law who is a dependent will have insecurity regarding money when her son is newly married. Especially when she has unmarried and unsettled daughters.
When father is not alive the siblings will naturally be taken care of by the son.I don't link Khatri with Dev. Never ever.

I like the way u write n make it more justified ...Ishwari difantely love Dev the most but she doesn't want him to divert his attention to anyone be its Sona or other siblings ..

Like Ish's entire life revolves around Dev, she expects the same from Dev. Ish definitely loves Dev but she wants him to be fully devoted to her and everyone including his wife and sisters shud be secondary to Dev. Ish has struggled all her life to provide for Dev's wellbeing and expects Dev wud return the favour in full. Anyone who tries to break this equation, even Dev, wud get the wrath of Ish maata.

Ish has given even her daughters' share of love to Dev n she just cudnt accept Dev bringing an outsider and loving her as well.

The more importance Dev will give to Sona, the more defensive n protective Ish wud get n she wud try all manipulations and deceit to keep Dev n Sona away

I am more than certain that Dev is not Ishwari's son. He is just an ATM and a watchman for her and her three daughters!

Ishwari wants Dev to dance to her tunes only and he does till now... the signs we are seeing point to the future where Sona will turn this buddhu ram around to who he should listen to more. His better half!

What sales manager! If his mom puts pressure on him, Vicky will be made managing director too! CV's can do anything, after all they are the creators of this show! Who are we to even try to see logic in this!,,

That seems unlikely as Khatri is another money minded person and If Dev was indeed his son, he would not leave all of Dev's money just like that. He would claim for it, all of it.

when it comes to his family, Dev has and is always be an idiot. He hasn't even used common sense, forget about business sense. I really wonder how someone like him could do so well in business.

Ishwari treats Dev like part cherished pet, part work horse. When she wants her who stroked, she gets her pet; when she wants money, she gets her work horse. She is quite passive-aggressive, that lady.
