I feel sona is trying to prove herself that she can fit in inside the family and be a perfect bahu

Haven't watched the episode yet, but got the gist of it completely by reading the posts on the forum.

My take : Sona is trying to be part of the family, which is but natural to any or most of the newly married girls. However, her not listening to her husband or not sharing things, when she already knew Dev before her marriage is what seems to be not right. Her moral compass towards her in-laws and ignoring your husband totally, now this is what no girl does after marriage, no matter how hard she may be trying to fit in or please her in-laws. But I guess Sona is so independent that she may even opt for ignoring your husband clause.. 😡

Ishwari is just being herself. She looked different to me only in between when she started with talk of her grandkids and the jewellery that she had kept for them, that was so not digestible. Leaving that Ishwari's character is same right from the beginning.

Our reaction to Sona's actions are also true but I believe given some time (a wekk atleast in KRPKAB schedule) we would see changes in Sona and I can't tell you how much I am waiting for that.

BTW Is Sona ever going to join her office again. She never talks about resuming her work.

Honestly I do feel like giving her a shake... But now I do feel that she will figure things happening around her pretty quickly!

Self realization will happen soon! Like today.. Everyone's in her room, which is fine. But she felt like an outsider..the situation felt like that! But the moment Dev saw her, I felt her ease a bit.. This is what I want to see .. Just simple looks between Husband and wife, when their amongst everyone!

When is going to her Parents home.. Hoping they show Asha giving her some martial advice!!!

i just saw the new promo..nd it clearly shows how sona senses some change in ishwarib's attitude ..so i guess our old sona will be back soon with a bang

On this matter I will defend Sonakshi. She as yet doesn't know the extent of Ishwari's depravity. She thinks that Ishwari rejected her on grounds of being bengali and assumes that her diligently following Ishwari's customs will please her.

Yes, sona is doing wrong but we have to not forget that
Earlier, she is his girlfriend and now she has become his wife
And now, she is also someone bahu ,someone bhabhi, so she
Have also other responsibilities now.
In yesterday episode , when dev asked sona over phone
That why she was trying to prove u r good daughter in law pegant .then
CVS put this dialogue purposely to show sona is wrong.
I am sure they will realise her mistake in upcoming episodes

You are absolutely right.. I feel Sona is a bit insecure as well. Dev left her once for his mother... so it is natural for her to try and be in Ishwari's good books. Unfortunately, Sona doesnt know that Ishwari likes sona a lot as individual and the real problem is that Ishwari is insecure and possessive about Dev.

So Sona is trying hard to impress Ishwari by following her and trying to be like her.. She can not totally ignore ishwari's likes and dislikes and completely ignore Ishwari as now that she is family...

I think once Sona knows about Ishwari's real problem, she will stop all this nonsense that she is doing to herself and Dev. I hope that happens soon...

5 pages of comments! All the comments make sense to me. Maybe I was wrong in expecting Sona to be like her normal self in the first few days at her sasural. The point of trying to adjust with Dixits does make sense to me now, after I read some personal experiences of people.
