Dear Dev, the situation in Iswari Nivas is getting worse day by day. Neither I blame your mother nor Sonakshi for this because I feel you are the one who would be the cause for the present scenario and you could be the one who if put your brains can solve the problems and lead a harmonious and peaceful life .I bother about you because Shaheer is your face.If not I would have stopped watching your story long back. So here are some tips for you.
Let Sonakshi join her duty as early as possible. Ask her to leave the house sharp 9 o'clock.
Keep yourself busy with your office work and leave before Sona left.
Don't ever forget to bend at your mother's feet and take Ashirwad.
Always come down for break fast even if you want to have private moments with Sona.
Never ever take sides with either Sona or your mother if any discussion happens.Tell them you are not adept in such matters. If your mother asked you privately tell her she is always right. If Sona confronted you tell her she is absolutely right .
Don't grab away the brief period you spend with your mother especially at the dining table.
Tell Sona not to commit herself for any religious activity . She can say she is busy with her patients.
Make it a point to have lunch with Sona not in your office but somewhere else.
Try to finish your work earlier,pick up Sona and spend time with her. If she wants make it a point to take her to her parents whenever she feel like.
Return home separately after you both enjoyed together.You can arrange another car for Sona. Don't ever enter inside ,you with your besotted looks and she reciprocating with her giggles.
Make it a point to have dinner with the family members. Praise your mother's cooking skills.
Ask Sona not to bother about learning cooking and other things. She has a lifetime ahead for all this.
Plan a short trip not long say for example to Goa,Tell your mother you have to go for office work. Send Sona prior to this to her parents and pick her up. You can enjoy your moments happily.
Always keep an eye on Radha Rani who is an expert in spying I hope you understand what I meant.
Don't ever send gifts to Sona to your residential address. You have her hospital address no?
Last but not least don't forget to take Iswari for shopping. That is the only time she spends with you and enjoy her outing . Don't ever take Sona with you.
Finally the most important point I forgot. Finance. Don't curb your mother's freedom and power.Drawers locker keys all these are for old generation. Let Iswari enjoy such things.
You and Sona can do with ATMs you don't need outdated stuff.
One more thing. Be cautious while you are alone with Sona in the room. Close the door always. Not only your mother but you have your unmarried sisters in the house.
I would like to add things would become better with the passage of time. Once your mother gets habituated to the other person in your life everything gets back to normalcy.
PS. I happened to see women like Iswari who are overtly possessive of their sons. I also observed how problems got solved by caution and presence of mind. But it takes time.
