CVs are you sure you guys knew that it was Dev-Sonakshi's wedding? Because Ishwari, Bua,GKB drama got way more screen space and focus than the couple in question.Did you forget that it was Dev weds Sonakshi not a battle of cultures of Bose vs Dixits?
The OLVs and segments were far more enjoyable.I can't believe how poorly the episode was edited.And Dev Sona got no dialogues? Except may be in the end. Seriously?!!The bride and groom do share words and glances during the wedding .Where are the compliments, where is the couple whispering to each other, where are the constant glances which are all part of weddings but especially in case of love marriages.
The non-veg issue was unnecessarily dragged.Was it really necessary to show the fish tray drama today itself? It would have been better if the CVs would have focused on showing Dev-Sona and the rituals in detail than showing every Bua scene in so much detail.
The saat phere,the sindoor daan, all was so rushed.During kanya dan there was absolutely no need for the Bua and GKB nonsense.That part could have simply had Dev promise Bijoy that he'll always keep Sona happy.And that is not even a figment of my imagination because it actually happens in weddings.
I was so looking forward to the episode and instead of ending on a happy note, it ended with a sad scene and an irritating precap.(Yes, I know Ishwari was supposed to faint but Cvs could have at least shown one episode which focused more on Devakshi than anything else)
Highlight of the episode:
1.The look in Dev's eyes when he sees Sonakshi as a bride and the look he had when she was being carried around him.
2. The Varmala scene where we got to see the playful side of Dev and Sonakshi.
What could have been the highlight but was not because it was cut short:
1. The saat phere and the other rituals.
2. The ring finding game.(Another such game could have been easily added to the episode)
The irritating lows:
1.Buaji ,Buaji and Buaji!!!
Also during the lehenga and mehendi/alta scene, why was Sonakshi so silent?I am still confused as to where was the lehenga or chunri that was supposed to be draped on Sonakshi' shoulders as it was been given by the groom's family?
I would say Ishwari's reactions to everything today were justified.
There was disregard to each other's feelings and cultures from both sides in the episode.
The Bidai scene was an emotional one but why did Dev not get any dialogue???
The episode was not worth the hype.The venue was beautiful, the team of actors brilliant, then why was the episode such a let down?I am disappointed!
Instead of getting a feel good episode, we got may be 7 minutes of feel good scenes and the rest was an annoyance.
